Pain shows itself in many ways,
In multiple people, throughout.
It hides,
Always expressing itself when it's needed least.
Not necessary to our lives,
But still required by nature.
It's strength,
Weakens us.
It's weakness,
Strengthens us.
But for me,
It weakens me over time.
Pain destroys me,
Tearing me string to string.
I break, not knowing how to stop.
My tears staining my clothes.
All I can say now though,
At least it's not blood.
