My head throbs in pain,

My chest doing the same.

In dire need of rest,

To close my eyes and drift though;

My very problem indeed.

Continuing to drag out the night,

I'm probably quite the sight.

Dark rings hanging,

Under my dull, vacant eyes.

And my complexion pale,

As if the moon kissed my skin.

My mouth no longer curved,

Into that sassy smirk I held.

Rather displays no emotion.

All signs people seem to miss,

Of that a very sleep deprived, broken girl.
