The soul is no match for what love can bring,

If the timing is wrong.

The circumstances have to be almost perfect,

Otherwise the soul suffers the consequences.

The intensity of affection for another,

Can break the soul as it leaves it vulnerable.

The soul is described as unbreakable or immortal.

But when one loves another,

Their soul is exposed for the other person to see.

This creates a compromising position,

Since the person's soul is in the hands of another, trusting.

The soul can be handled with care,

Or it can shatter into millions of pieces.
