I roll over, draping my arm over her bare shoulder. She relaxes against my touch, smiling as I pull her closer to me. Fixing the covers upon her, I press myself against her. I close my eyes and breathe in her beautiful scent. It comforts my soul, entering my heart like little wisps of her. My heart gladly accepts as she fills the holes, and patches the broken pieces as best she can.

Through the night, I feel her tense against me for reasons I may not know. I try to comfort her without waking her. As I place kisses along her bare arm, she wakes as the sun is just rising over the horizon. I smile, taking in her beauty. She blushes under my gaze and my hand reaches out to gently stroke her cheek.

We lay in bed all day, talking and listening to each other. My heart speeds up every time she lays her head on my chest. She glances at me worried, and I tell her that my heart beats for her. She blushes again, hiding her face into my shoulder. I brush the hair aside that was hiding her soft features of her face. She brings her bright eyes to mine, and I smile because I know I'm in love. She smiles back, knowingly.

I hold her, protecting her as the nights go by. Each night better than the last, considering I never have to let her go. One night, as I'm softly stroking her hair to help her sleep, she rolls over to face me. I lean forward, placing a long kiss on her forehead, and she closes her eyes. I kiss her again, knowing that I just soothed her worries.

I wake to the sun blinding me through the curtains. I move, feeling the presence of her as she softly snores on. I smile, and slide out of bed not wanting to wake her. I tip toe into the kitchen and begin making breakfast. She comes downstairs sometime later, dressed in a t-shirt and panties. I offer her some breakfast, which she gratefully accepts. Sitting down, we eat and I clean up, watching her. She notices me, blushing deeply and I walk over, wrapping her in a hug. We pull away and she quickly closes the distance between us by pressing her lips to mine.
