Its 6 am.

Still haven't slept.

Except its time to actually get up.

Enjoy life and move on.

How can I though?

When I lost the one thing that truly made me happy?

They say you shouldn't leave your happiness up to a person,

But I got nothing to be happy for anymore.

Nursing my shattered pieces,

I lay curled in a ball.

Wishing that the pain would ease.

I know I care too much,

Which is the one reason I always end up in pain.

And the other person is not to blame.

Now I'm up.

Pushing through the pain,

And slowly,

Ever so slowly,

Becoming numb to the world.
