i'm tired of love that doesn't work.
i am exhausted. i hate putting in the work just to watch us not work out. i give my heart, my blood sweat and tears, and that energy is never replenished.
i hate getting close and tying knots just to have to cut the rope in two, and it never cuts evenly, it's frayed every single time.
i hate making connections just to watch us disconnect in seconds, and never speak again as if we were never more then friends. that's probably what pains me most, you still know my deepest secrets, the goals i don't tell others incase i fail. the shit in my life that i've tried my best to suppress; yet, we will never talk again,

It features dark, realistic storylines, corporation-funded heroes, and villains who aren't necessarily bad guys. The protagonist's powerset involves the crowd-favourite consuming enemies for power trope, too. The GameLit/LitRPG elements are super light and takes a while to kick in. The powercreep is slow as well since I don't enjoy overpowered protagonists. Chapters everyday until book 1 is complete. The schedule will change once I reach that point.
