You admired him from afar; the way he smiled and the love and passion that crept into his eyes. He was filming a scene for his new film Oklahoma! and crew allowed you on set.
He was a natural at performing, you already knew that. It wasn't everyday where you could watch him film, though you wished it were.
He was perfect. Everything about him.
"Take five everybody." The director called.
Gordon quickly fled from the bright spotlight and hurried to the back of the soundstage towards you.
"Oh honey." he cooed, wrapping his arms around your waist and tugging you close.
"You're so handsome." You fiddled with his open shirt collar.
"You're so beautiful, remind me again how you became my wife?" He chuckled. He rested his cheek on your hair. He hummed the tune to Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin'.
There was a lot running through your mind in that moment. A burst of love erupted from your heart and made you only hold onto him tighter.
Those five minutes went by too fast. Gordon gently removed himself from your grasp and rushed back to be in front of the camera once more. Continuing the scene as if there were never any pauses.
You sat down in the corner on a soft couch. You found yourself dozing off to the beautiful sound of your husband's singing voice.

Arms wrapped themselves around your body and lifted you from your makeshift bed. You knew who it was without opening your eyes. You cuddled into his shoulder as he carried you to a new destination.
"I certainly didn't expect you to sleep on that soundstage. I must say you sure looked adorable."
He carried you out to the car and sat you down. He was now in his normal clothing and the curls in his hair were almost entirely straight.

"It's a very relaxing environment."
"It's not always that way. Everybody might've been on their best behavior just for you."
"What ever the case may be, I had a wonderful time." He placed his hand on your knee and started to drive home.
"Oh what a beautiful mornin', oh what a beautiful day, I've got a beautiful feeling that everything's going my way." He quietly sang.
You couldn't take your eyes off him. He was oblivious to your lovesick stare, or just good at ignoring it.

"You're too good to me. Sometimes I wonder if this is all a dream of sorts. We've never had an argument, and we've been married for two years. I'll never understand it but I'll never take it for granted."
Your eyes peeled open to see your husband laying beside you. His warmth reached out to you and pulled you close.
"And someday we'll have a little one. A little boy for me and a little girl for you."
"It sounds wonderful darling."

Extract from the histories of Hogenbach, written by the grand historian and self-proclaimed drunkard Gregor Meinzt. "Ah Hogenbach, a crumbling shithole of a kingdom situated in the arse end of nowhere. A land of rolling hills, cold winters and home to a population of short and bitter people. A terrible land. Yet it is here that the greatest calamity of the modern realm took place. It was here that the writhing dungeon was born. Some call Viktor Grieswald a hero, others curse the name. And yet fewer still know him for what he truly was. His was a sad existence, made to shoulder the burdens of an entire realm. He helped, he harmed and he left a trail of destruction in his wake, he will always be my friend. But know this, whatever your opinion on the man, nay the monster is, one thing is true. The world will never be the same after his presence, we made sure of that." AN: Alright, this is a dark fantasy dungeon story without the use of reincarnated characters or a system. Yes, I tagged it litRPG as it uses game elements, no these do not include a status screen. Read onwards if you dare.

Shattered Realms - A Pathfinder/D&D game
Broke adventurers looking for a quick and easy paycheck are thrust together as circumstances around them get weirder and weirder. Authors note: This is an ongoing Pathfinder (DnD) game, which will inevitably contain references to other works due to the nature of nerds. Chapters will be random lengths, mostly as long as a game session and depending on how much I can embelish it. Also, some details may change retroactively to maintain consistency. I'm not going to write it as LitRPG, mostly because that's extra work. I'd rather the flow of the story not be interrupted by numbers. I am aiming for updates within a week or two of the game session, which will usually be weekly. Finally, there is a light swearing, gore and sexual references warning. I will update this warning if needed, but will also not write in anything that's too graphic or irrelevant to the story.
