You looked up at the big screen in front of you which displayed your husband dancing in the rain. You couldn't be prouder. Just ten years prior he made his film debut and here he was proving to the world that he can do it all. You knew he could. You were drawn to the screen as if you didn't see him rehearse at home.

When the movie ended you two walked out of the theatre last. Everyone from the studio had gone home while you and Gene walked out hand in hand as if you were dreading a talk at home with your parents.

"That movie might just be my favorite of yours yet," you admitted. He chuckled and flashed one of his famous grins.

"I feel like we have something with this one. It just feels special."

"I wouldn't be surprised if in eighty years people still talk about this film."

"Now that's a thought," he said while opening the car door.

"Thank you, Mr. Kelly."

"You're very welcome, Mrs. Kelly." He kissed your cheek over the rolled down window.

You had trouble getting those songs out of your head. Not that you wanted them to leave your mind. He parked the car in the driveway and helped you out of the car. He walked you into the living room where you sat down on the couch. He grabbed his tap shoes and put them on. He began dancing around the room while singing the words to 'Good Morning.' It sure is great to stay up late.
