Walking down the path of seretei, i saw my fellow shinigami of the different squad getting all worked up on the little challenge my father gave to each squad.

Flashback ~

"Halloween is coming ~ scary thing will happen ~" i sang while walking to the halls of squad 1, i was requested to come to the meeting by my father.

Upon arriving at the gigantic door, i took a deep breath before knocking on it, the giant door opened. All captains were present at the meeting knowing my presence they look at my way, i offer them a smile which they gladly returned. Slowly i walk up to my father passing all the captains of different squad.

"Now that your all here, i want to know how is it going from each of your squad?" My father said, the other captains reply that their squad is doing well, until, in the corner of my eye i saw my father smile evilly. I sweat drop thinking that holiday is one day away.

"Is that so? Well today is a special day, I'll give one challenge to all of you. Each squad had to represent a Halloween presentation and it is due to the exact day of Halloween. Prize will be your request" he said, earning some grin, evil smirk, and smile to the faces of the captains. I leaned down near the ear of my father and whispered something.

"Father, are you still gonna let kurotsuchi nii-san? By the look of his face, he'll already won the scariest creature act" i whispered in disbelief, hoping my father only heard it when i heard him chuckle but, i heard a stifle of laugh behind me looking back, i can see Unohana nee-san covering her mouth with her shihakūsho stifling her laugh. Toshiro was maintaining his stoic face but failed miserably failed as a smile formed on his lips, and the other captains laugh quietly behind, while there's a fuming kurotsuchi at the side, calming himself not to throw a tantrum in front of the Head captain.

"Heheh ,sorry about that," i awkwardly said, which stop their actions of laughing.

"Now, you may start my challenge, you can use the whole seretei as your stage but, don't cause any trouble" my father said, and with that they all leave in silence but with a little laugh.

"So, what's actually the first reason you requested my presence?" I asked looking at my father. "Well, i was thinking if you watch them out, they might cause chaos inside the seretei especially the captain of squad 11" he said sighing, tiredness on his voice. "Well what you expect zaraki nii-san want to look cool, ok then ill go watch them. See you later;" i said running out of his meeting office, not after leaving a Halloween candy in his hand.

Flashback end~

"Hmm. Look likes everything's on control" i mumble as i look around, and so i decided to go and check the squad 2 flash stepping to that place, i nearly tripped to one of their props. "There, to the side, ok! Now let's start our act!" I heard soifon nee-san voice, heading to that place i saw her ordering her men in a cat costume. I assume they'll act the cat to be the ultra killer for their scene, soifon taking the cat category was not a surprise.

I sigh and headed to the squad 3, somehow it was neatly arranged and they had taken the zombie category, looking for their director for the act i only saw them busy. 'Better not disturbed' i thought before flash stepping to the next squad.

*time skip*

So far so good, i sigh in relief as i sat down on one of the chairs i see as i relax my feet, i checked all the squads all are doing fine their act was running smoothly. I closed my eyes relieving the headache i had until an image of kurotsuchi nii-san in a scientists costume with a needle and a scary face while laughing maniacally, he laugh like he had completed his new subject. This image quite scare me he's playing the mad scientists category. "Ahh!! Leave my brain and my memory!!" I yelled as i ruffle my hair with both of my hands, desperately to forget the image of kurotsuchi nii-san and his act.

In the squad 11, it was a total chaos! I tell you chaos!! Fake blood all over the place, his squad members already puking to the idea of their captain for the act. Zaraki nii-san want the play the act of slenderman but, what turned out was a family massacre act. The reason why i leaved the place in less than a sec.

The other squad seems fine, scary but bearable unlike the 2 squad which is too much. I just remembered the squad 6 act was rather elegant than scary, they did use the sakura petals and sakura trees for their act, what is it called? The women died on the sakura tree and the women lover turned into an akuma(demon) and slaughtered all the people who caused the death of the women he love

Their category seems fit the romance horror. I cried at their act even just watching the half of it.

Now that i finished watching them knowing chaos will never happen, so i decided to go home. On the way, the image of kurotsuchi nii-san kept appearing inside my head, cold feeling ran down my spine as i hug myself shuddering, already getting scared by just the image.

Too lost in thought about how yo get rid the memory i didn't know i was in the squad 10 barracks and accidentally bump on someone making me fall to my bottocks. Looking up to the person i saw Matsumoto nee-san.

"Oh! (Y/n) great timing!!" She said as she pull up and to their booth, they had taken the vampire category. "(Y/n) i really need your help! I can't find any women that suited to play the victim role! Which is why i ask you. Pls help us and play the victim role!" She said begging on her knees. I can say she was the director to their act, and the other member of squad 10 had already prepared the scene. "Uh, o-ok sure, i can help. Who's the vampire actually?" I said taking the costume Matsumoto who's handling me the costume for the victim.

"Hm? Oh the vampire role was given to Hitsugaya taicho" she said like it's no big deal but, i froze hearing her reply. I immediately snatch the script from her hand and reading it. My face was envelop in a deep scarlet red reading the scene of the vampire should bite the neck of the victim in his embrace. 'This isn't right!!!' I yelled inside my thoughts, sure vampire will bite the neck of the victim to drank their blood but, the thing is we're doing it, LITERALLY!!

"Oh! Taicho! Hurry up!!" I heard Matsumoto yell behind my back, which i internally planning to get away to this place immediately, but before i can take a move, Matsumoto grabbed my wrist pulling me towards her. "Taicho (y/n) here agreed to be the victim of our play" she said proudly, i gave an awkward smile towards Toshiro who's staring at me mouth slightly agape.

"Ok, now (y/n) wear that costume over there, and we're now gonna act the first scene" Matsumoto said pointing at the small shed, she now act serious all of the sudden, i could only sigh and went to the place she point and changed.

*time skip*

Staring into my reflection with a red face i began questioning myself 'is this actually me?' I asked myself, mesmerized to the light make up i made but, the clothing makes me uncomfortable. It was a long dark blue kimono long sleeve that was a little loose in the end of the sleeve but the kimono exposed my shoulder, showing my collar bone and my (s/c).

"Hey, (y/n) you ok, your role is u-" she was cut off when i faced her along with the dress. She smirk before glancing something behind her back, i don't have time to see what she's looking at when she went inside and pushed me to sit down at the chair facing the mirror. "Now we only need to darken your lips and eyeliner" (i don't know anything about make up,even im a female hehe😅)

After a minute that felt like hours, Matsumoto's finally done on my make up and help me to stand up.

"Ohh-la-la, you look ravishing in this get up outfit, oh let your shoulder be seen for the exciting part in the act" she said and before i can react i was pulled out from the shed and to the scene. Once i was there Toshiro jaw dropped along some of the squad member of his, "what?, something on my face?" I asked, and they didn't reply but shook their head. "Now that the victim role is on, (y/n) come here" Matsumoto said, back to her serious self, i went up to her as she started to explain the things that i will do.

"Now, once i started the music you'll start to walk into the dark path we'll be going to do and act like you don't know anything ok? Now let's start" she said, and i was pushed to the start where i will start to do the walking. I took a deep breath as i composed myself "action!" I heard, then i bring out my kindest smile and started elegantly walking to where Matsumoto showed me.

"Cut" i heard Matsumoto say, making me sigh in relief that i don't have to put up my smile again. "Now we'll proceed to the exciting part! Where the vampire will appear and will bite the victim's neck" she said then giggling looking for her captain while i stood therein shock 'how could i possibly forgot that!?' I mentally face palmed myself, heat rushing up to my cheeks as i started to imagine when Toshiro will bit my neck LITERALLY!

"Fine! We'll do that part" My face explodes into a deep scarlet when i heard the oh so familiar voice who played the role of a vampire "hey (y/n)" i turned immediately by the call of my name and i saw him scratching the back if his neck looking somewhere with a light pink hues on his cheeks. "W-what is it?" I stuttered out, by the look of him, i can see he muster up the courage to even look at me in the eye "i-i hope i-its ok to you" he said, i was confused at first. But, when his word click into my mind i am now a blushing mess with a steam coming out of my ears as i just nodded my head indicating it's ok.

"Ok, come on you two the scene for the last part is now ready!" I heard Matsumoto yell, breaking the awkward atmosphere between Toshiro and me.

'It's ok (y/n), calm down as soon as the act goes you can go home. Calm down' i kept chanting this inside my head from the nervousness i felt. I walk back and forth at the set biting my thumb until i felt a light tap on my shoulder, startled i turn around almost quickly to lose my balance and fell forward to the person who tap my shoulder.

After falling forward, i didn't see clearly the face of the person i fell into, so when we fall with a thud i can clearly see his face face now. And oh how i regret being scared, it was actually Toshiro who i fell into, we stare into each other's eyes until. "As much as i want to watch you two acting lovely, we need to finish the act, i want the squad 10 to win the Best Halloween Act" Matsumoto voice interrupted our staring contest, Toshiro and i glanced to each other then to Matsumoto and then back to us again.

Until we both immediately pulled away from each other standing from our laying position. "Ok, now let's go! Taicho to your position!" She yelled as she pointed at his position on the set as she held my wrist while explaining the things i should do.

We are now in our respective position waiting for the go signal as i took one last deep breath and sighing calming myself. "Action!" Matsumoto yelled and i started to hum walking elegantly, my (s/c) shoulder were extremely exposed with this dark blue kimono. Soon we near the part where the vampire will appear, by the time goes, my nervousness is coming back then i gasp when a dark cloak person appeared in front of me, making the act more believable but, i truly startled by the action. Just like Matsumoto said, i walked slowly to the black cloak person with the right expression until i let out another gasp when Toshiro pull me towards him by pulling me by my wrist.

I act like i was about to scream, and Toshiro then covered my mouth using his hand, tilting my head to the side Toshiro leaned down to bite and suck my blood in my (s/c) shoulder at the act when:

"Cut!"

Matsumoto yelled stopping us from the act. "What!? it's gonna end soon anyway!" Toshiro yelled as i fixed my kimono with a red face, not minding their conversation. "It is going well but your position, you need to act it like it's actually the real thing! Especially you (y/n)" Matsumoto corrected pointing at us then we got back to our starting position again. I heard Toshiro sigh in irritation before going back to his starting position. Soon we started the last scene again.

A few minutes long.

"Cut! Again"

"Wrong again!"

"No! (Y/n) close your eyes! And taicho tilt her head to the side!"

"Ok! That's it! You're getting it! Again!"

"Wrong! Again!"

This continued for an hour until we finally get it, the act ended when the victim role turned into a vampire.

"Ah yes! Finally! Done! Thank you (y/n) for the help!" Matsumoto squeals, before hugging me and started to fix their mess, while i sigh in relief and leaned on one of the wall prop then plopping down to the ground because my of my leg that felt like jelly from the vampire and victim act. I can't stop myself becoming a blushing mess while doing the act, but gladly i survive through it all.

"(Y/n) are you ok?" I turned my head to where the source of the voice and found Toshiro back to his captain clothes 'i presumed you hated being dressed up, that's why you change in a blink of an eye' i chuckled inside my head before attempting to stand up.

"Yup, I'm good but, can you help me go there, so i could change my uncomfortable clothes?" I asked hopefully, he didn't say anything instead he came closer to me, gently grabbing my arm and helping me to go changed. I blushed from his action as my heart thump from my chess vigorously. Reaching the small hut, i sigh in relief as i enter "how about a drink after this?" I heard Toshiro say his shadow visible to the paper door (tatami) "sure i don't mind" was my reply with a blush as i took of my kimono and immediately change back into my shihakūsho my normal attire that i felt comfortable with before removing any accessory from my hair and removing any make up on my face.

Seeing my reflection on the mirror i smile in satisfaction before turning onto my heels and opening the tatami door seeing Toshiro leaning on the pole crossed arm and closed eyes.

I went closer to his face, a evil grin appeared on my face as i attempt to splash water on his face but, before i can even touch the water near us, he opened up his eyes. From his sudden action i jumped 2 meters away from him. "Sorry, did i make you wait that long?" I asked nervously desperately trying to hide the fact that i want to splash his face with water.

"Nope, it's normal" he said like nothing happened which i sigh in relief, "lately i felt like someone looking at me evilly, like they plan on doing something to me" he said, placing his index and thumb finger on his chin, makes me sweat and bit my lip. He faced me then asked "have you seen some people here?" I closed my eyes smiling "Maybe, your just feeling stuff after all it's Halloween" i said in my calm voice giving him my closed eye smile but, internally i was screaming in fear of him finding out. Soon we started to walk to the place Toshiro was talking about.

The walk was quiet and comforting until i felt like i was walking alone, i glance at my side expecting to see Toshiro but not even a glimpse of him were present. I started to breath heavily adrenalin running through my veins as i look around frantically then i proceed walking forward maybe he's playing pranks to me but, knowing the captain of the squad 10 not playing that kind of things made me nervous.

Turning on the corner, "BOO!!" Someone with a scary face scared me and in reflex i perfectly punched its face.

(an: i usually do that if someone scare me)

After punching the face, i punched its stomach causing it to cough and stumble back before i unsheathed my zanpakūto and ready to slice of the scary person that scared me who stumbled backwards, i raise my zanpakūto above my head ready to bring it down when it spoke. "W-wait! (Y/n) it's me!!" The scary face person spoke removing something that i presumed was a Halloween mask, revealing, Ikkaku Madarame with a bloody nose.

(An: i know, you're thinking it's Tōshirō right? Got ya! Haha)

"Ikkaku!? Don't scare me like that!!" I yelled pointing my zanpakūto at him before sheathing it back, "you're the scary one here" i heard him mumble to himself and when i faced him he raised his hand in surrender.

"I already told you the outcome and yet you still proceed in your plan" toshiro voice said behind me and upon turning on my heels i saw Toshiro, yachiru, yamachika, rukia, uryu, Inoue and ichigo which trying to stiffle their laugh, i sigh in relief knowing Toshiro is here. "Toshiro captain of squad 10 why did you suddenly leave me!? It's scary to be alone in this place!" I yelled in fear while a comically tears pouring down my eyes.

"I apologized to that, cause when i sense numerous spiritual pressure i turn my head to see who it was, until i was pulled to the corner that's when i saw them planning on scaring you, i warned them but they didn't listen. So, i just sigh in defeat that i cannot stop their action even i know it will kill them in the end" Toshiro explained while his eyes closed then he opened them staring at me "what?" I asked, he just shook his head sideways, "I'm surprised on how you didn't felt their spiritual pressure" he said curios evident on his voice which i laugh nervously. "Oh that well, b-because i sealed of my sensing, cause you know.....a holiday thinking nothing will happen ~" i said nervously revealing that i was a off guard and carefree.

"YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T USE ANY REIATSU WHEN YOU ATTACKED ME/HIM!?" ikkaku and the others shouted in surprise pointing their index finger at me which i nodded slowly. Their jaw dropped as Toshiro sigh. "What are we doing out here, come on let's grab something to eat, my treat!!" I yelled grabbing each of there arm enclosing it to my embrace and pulled them to a place where we can eat after 4 minute walk.

The others cheered inside the restaurant while eating celebrating the Halloween. Toshiro and (y/n) shared the same food by a dare of their own little game and it continued the 'spin the bottle game' which they enjoyed especially Toshiro when he was dared to do something with (y/n).

They enjoyed the time until it was already night time but the celebration continued. Then (y/n) felt something like a cold wind brush of her (s/c) skin and a faint figure that look like her mother was on the corner smiling staring at her and when (y/n) blink her eyes the figure that looks like her mom was gone, she shrugged it off thinking her mind was playing on her and continued to celebrate then all yelled:
