'Rascal?' Emily asks after Rascal still didn't respond to her question. 'Are you allright?' She starts to shake him.

'What?' he asks her, still with a red head.

'Why are you acting so weird?' Emily asks. 'Are you...'

She stops in her sentence and then a big grin forms. 'I know what is going on, Rascal!' She yells girly.

'Ah my ears!' Rascal says and cringes. 'What do you mean by that, Lucky?'

'You have feelings for Chloe, don't you!' she says.

Rascal's face turns really red and Emily yells: 'You do!'

'No I don't!' Rascal says in a way he tries to defend himself, but the desperation is noticeable.

'Pff!' Emily says. 'Don't deny it Rascal. It's normal to have feelings for someone.'

'For me it's not normal!' It's clear that Rascal feels really uncomfortable with the feelings.

'Accept it,' Emily says. 'It's a feeling everyone has and a good one too.'

Rascal sighs. 'You may be right... I mean, it feels so good!'

'Good!' Emily says. 'Now tell Chloe how you feel!'

'I can't!' Rascal says panicked. 'Not after everything that has happened. Why would she love me?'

'Because we all are friends!' Emily grabs his hand and runs toward the others.

'Chloe!' Emily says. 'Rascal wants to tell you something!'

'What is it?' Chloe asks and looks at the joker.

'I... I think I... Well...' Rascal blushes and tries to come up with something.

'It's nothing. I am just really happy that you accept me as... A... friend.'

Chloe smiles. 'Don't worry about it.'

Chloe sighs deeply as she bows over her work. She doesn't know why, but she feels really sleepy. She yawns deeply.

'Seems like someone needs a break.'

Chloe turns her head around and sees Rascal reading in a magazine.

'No I am fine, Rascal.'

'Are you sure?' He puts the magazine away, gets up from the bed and walks toward Chloe who sits on her desk. He peeks at the homework.'You've worked enough today. Now you should relax.'

'I still have to finish some tasks.'

'Five questions left, you can also do that tomorrow morning before school.' Rascal takes her hands and pulls her up. 'Come on Glitter Breeze, time for something different.' He puts her on bed, sits behind her and starts brushing her hair. He whistles softly and after a few minutes of brushing, he puts her hair in a tail.

'Do you like it?' Rascal smiles.

'Yeah...' Chloe yawns and then she can't keep her eyes open anymore. She lays against Rascal's chest. Rascal blushes but then starts to worry deeply. She is working too hard. She already had a really busy day at school and a lot of work. She worked on it the whole afternoon. He softly wraps his arm around her and with his other hand he caresses her hair.

'You think too much about others...' he whispers. Just like he told here when he fought against her about the trip abroad. She finally thought about herself then. That ment no good for Rascal. He totally lost his patience.

That was the time he was willing to do anything for his master. But all that is over. Rascal feels free to choose his own life and decisions. Breeze may be right when she said that Nogo has manipulated him.

Rascal looks at Chloe. She is sleeping and she has crawled against his chest.

Rascal suddenly feels the need to protect her at all cost and wraps both his arms around her and pulls her tighter, but not in a way she gets uncomfortable.

He gulps. Something is not right but what? There is something coming, he feels it and he gets a heavy feeling in his chest again. One thing is for sure, he will protect Breeze at all cost!

At night Chloe wakes up. She notices the warm breath in her face. It's Rascal. She notices that he has wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to himself. He is very warm. Feeling a bit uncomfortable she puts his arms away. Why does she feel so dizzy? Maybe she has to drink something.

Slowely she gets up and pulls the rubber band out of her hair. Rascal's calm breath is the only thing that she hears and she carefully walks out of her room, trying her best to not wake the joker up. She goes down the stairs and walks into the kitchen. The dizziness is getting worse. She grabs a cup and fills it with water. She puts the cup around her mouth and drinks. But it doesn't help against the dizziness. Then she suddenly falls and can't get up. The cup is broken and she lays in a puddle of water. What is going on? Why does she feel this way? She needs help. She wants to call for help, but no sound excapes her troat.

After what seemed like forever, a tall and slim silhouette appears out of the dark. Chloe feels worried. Who is that? Has that person anything to do with this? She wants to get up but barely doesn't even have the energy to talk.

'Breeze!' a high-pitched voice sounds and the silhouette bends over her. 'There you are! What happened? Are you okay?'

It's Rascal. His voice sounds serious and really worried.

'When I saw you out of bed I got scared! I don't know why and what, but there is something odd going on!' He picks her up and goes upstairs. He puts her in bed. 'Are you feeling alright?'

Suddenly she feels better like nothing has happened. She sits up and stammers: 'T-that was weird... What happened to me? I was dizzy and then all my energy faded away! I am really happy you found me.'

She then starts to sob. Rascal is shocked by the sudden burst of tears and wants to calm her down.

'Don't worry,' he says. 'I am with you. I will protect you as well as I can.'

Chloe then feels that he has hugged her and has protective wrapped his arms around her tightly.

A dark but yet high voice laugs so hard that all glass in the room explode.

'Stupid Glitter Force!' she cries of laughter. 'And then you... Rascal the Joker... You don't know what is waiting for you! Pathetic clown. You're nothing anymore. You let the light absorb you, but I will be the one who turns it dark again!'

She puts the bag on the table and silently listenes to the boiling mash in the kettle. Then, her sharp voice sounds after a short pause.

'I will make you love the dark side again.'
