《[Discontinued!] Joker With A Heart Full Of Love》Chapter 4 - Rascal's Decision

'Where am I?' Rascal moans as he wakes up.
'At my home,' Chloe replies.
'Breeze... Wait, why am I tied up? What is this?!'
'We are not sure anymore if we can trust you,' Chloe says. 'You were laughing evil and you seemed to enjoy the negative energy too much.' She grabs her phone and calls the others. In a few minutes they are all in her room and stand around Rascal.
'We want to know if Nogo is still alive!' Kelsey says, 'and you better tell the truth, creepy clown!'
Rascal growls. 'Let me go!'
'No!' April says. 'We want answers, Rascal!'
'He is dead,' Rascal says. 'Lucky permanently killed him by giving him a hug.'
Emily, Kelsey, Lily, April and Chloe look at him and then at each other. Candy jumps out of Emily's back. She is in her pixy form.
'Are you telling the truth?' Candy looks at him.
'Yes!' Rascal snarls.
'You need a mint,' she mumbles and jumps on Emily's shoulder.
'Can you let me go now?' Rascal says angrily.
The girls look at him. 'We can't trust you, Rascal. Not after the way you absorbed the negative energy.'
'What?! I haven't done anything to you!' Rascal looks at Chloe with a imploring glance. 'Breeze...'
Chloe turns her head away. 'I am sorry, Rascal...'
'I can't believe this...' Rascal growls. 'So far that "friendship" you bragged about! I never should have believed that nonsense! Friendship is for stupid people!'
'Rascal...' Chloe says hurt.
'No! I don't want to hear it!' Rascal looks at a different direction. He doesn't want to see Chloe's hurt look. The warm feeling in his chest is fading away and so are the tickles. 'Would a real friend lose trust and tie a friend up just because he or she enjoyed something?'
Chloe doesn't say anything, but Kelsey says: 'Don't act like you know anything about friendship! You are a villain!'
'Yes!' April says. 'How many times have you said you don't believe in friendship?! Well, it has defeated you because you don't have any friends!'
'It is something you will never understand, Rascal!' Emily says.
'Why do you believe Ulric, Brute and Brooha but not me?!' Rascal says, frustrated.
'You never showed any good sides! You have destroyed the earth and revived Nogo!' April says.
'A-and Ricky, Rufus and Margie are pixie's...' Lily says shyly. 'You are not.'
'So give us a good reason to trust you!' Kelsey says with an angry voice. 'You even just said that friendship is for stupid people!'
'Because I had the chance to kill Breeze!' Rascal says. 'But I did not kill her!'
'That was because you didn't have your precious negative energy,' Kelsey says. 'You were not able to defend yourself and you knew we would be coming for you!'

The warm feeling and the tickles disappeard in one fell swoop. Rascal's eyes start to glow red and he feels nothing but hatred anymore.
'You want me to destroy you?!' he snarls, 'then you can get it!'
The girls get their Glitter Pact's and transform. 'Glitter Force make-over!'
Rascal turns into a pile of cards and then appears behind them. 'You weren't expecting this wild card to escape, were you?!' He licks his teeth and laughs maliciously. 'I know a better place than this silly, little room!' He snaps his fingers and they are suddenly in the park.
'Time for a mood!' Rascal gets his book and black paint. 'It's high time someone redecorated this place, there's too much sunshine!'
He squizes the tube with black paint.
'Don't look now but I feel an unhappy ending coming on!'
(One of my favorite Rascal lines, English and Dutch):
He paints a blank page of his book and the sky turns dark again. People start to moan and whimper. Rascal laughs evil. He collects negative energy and it forms into a ball.
'Yes!' he laughs. 'This feels good! And now you are going to pay for killing my master Emperor Nogo!' He let's coloured cards appear. 'Let's see... Who is going to be my first victim?' He throws a orange card on the ground. 'Well well. Looks like it's Glitter Sunny!' He let's the other coloured cards dissapear.
The girls prepare for a fight. They ball their fists.
'Wait, not yet,' Rascal says. 'There's someone missing!' He takes the yellow nose out of his hair and paints it black. 'Twilight Buffoon!'
'It's Royal Mode time!' Glitter Lucky says. The others nod.
And so they defeat the Twilight Buffoon, but Rascal starts laughing insane again. 'Silly girls! Defeating me will be much harder!'
'Bring it on, Rascal!' Lucky says.
'With pleasure!' Rascal licks his teeth, let cards appear and throws them at the girls. They dodge them but have a hard time. Rascal lets his sword appear at the same time, chuckles and stabs in the air. The purple beams appear and hit Sunny. She screams.
'Sunny!' The girls say shocked while they dodge the last cards.
'Goodbye Glitter Sunny!' Rascal lets a pile of cards appear and it turns into a drill again.
'This time no one can stop me!' Rascal runs towars Sunny, who is slowely standing up again.
'Girls, fast, stop him before he is at Sunny!' Lucky screams. The other nod and activate their Ulra Powers. They send their attacks towards Rascal, who is making his way towards Sunny...
The attacks are almost at him. Rascal turns his head and lets out a gasp as the beams are about to hit him. His eyes turn normal again.
'Yes!' Lucky says when it has hit Rascal. Dust floates at the place were Rascal was. 'We got him!'

Suddenly they hear him chuckle. The dust is gone and Lucky scares as she sees what makes him chuckle.
'No...'
Rascal turns his opponent's energy against them.
'I am sure you must remember this,' he sighs full of umesement. A dark beam shoots towards them and hits the girls but only Sunny is not hit.
'It hurts, doesn't it?' he says as the girls lay moaning on the ground. 'Where was I? Oh yes, I am going to kill Sunny.' He grins and walks towards Sunny. His eyes start to glow red again.
'Get back!' she says. She attacks him but he dodges everything. He then grabs her hand and throws her over his head and when she tries to stand up, he kicks her and then throws cards. And this time Pop isn't here to defend any of them...
(I used this as inspiration, Rascal fought against Chloe but Pop stops the cards he throws, English and Dutch (Sorry I feel like I have a writersblock today so I am sorry if the story is bad)):
'No!' it sounds and a beam stops the cards.
'What?!' Rascal says, shocked.
'We won't let one of our friends get hurt!' Lucky says and she and her friends stand up. 'If you attack one of us, you attack us all! And that is a big mistake, Rascal!'
'Fine! I will destroy you all then!' Rascal goes towards them and attacks them. They all fight and try to attack him, but he dodges and uses his cards as a shield and kicks them.
He kicks Sunny, then Spring, then Peace and then Lucky. Then he looks Breeze straight in the eyes and she looks at his round, red glowing eyes. His glance is full of hate. That is not the Rascal he was a few weeks ago...
They stare at each other but both don't move. Rascal's eyes slowely turn normal again. He feels the warmth again.
'Please Rascal...' Breeze says. 'Why are you doing this? You said that you were willing to turn good...'
'It's your friends,' Rascal growls. 'They don't trust me! If they want me to be a villain, I will be a villain! Besides, you have destroyed my master!' The feeling is gone again, anger takes over him again, his eyes start to glow and he kicks Breeze. She screams and falls on her back.
'That was a big mistake, Glitter Breeze!' he snarls.
'Leave her alone!' It sounds behind him.
Rascal avoids the kick that Lucky made towards his face. He then shoots behind her and collects his energy. And again, Pop isn't here to stop him.
He succeeds and it hits Lucky. She screams and falls. Rascal let's his sword appear and licks it.
'Time to finish this!' he says. 'You are not playing with the right cards!' He stabs in the air and it stops Sunny, Peace and Spring. He flies up in the sky and throws cards at them. But he doesn't pay attention to Lucky and Breeze, who attack him from behind. Rascal falls.
But again, he makes a perfect landing.
(Like in this video, English and Dutch):
'Five against one?' he says as he stands up. 'Not really a fair fight, is it?' He giggles. 'But I am not leaving before I can bring something with me!'
He licks his teeth agains, hugs himself and shivers again. 'I have a perfect idea!' He looks at Breeze, lets a card appear and sends it towards her. 'I have a gift for you, Glitter Breeze.'
The card just floats in front of her face. Nothing happens. Rascal's eyes turn normal and he lands on the ground. He crosses his arms and stands there with a serious face.
'A card?' Sunny asks. 'Where is that for?'
Rascal is silent and just stands there, away from them. He looks at the girls. He doesn't do anything.
Confused they stare at the card in front of Breeze. What is Rascal up to?
'What is this?' Spring asks. 'What are you doing, Rascal?'
Rascal looks at the girls but doesn't say a word.
(Sorry for interupting again, but I have a bonus for you before I write the end of this chapter and reveal what Rascal is up to. This is the first battle against Ulric, Brute, Brooha, Rascal and a yellow Buffoon in Japanese):
'Speak Rascal!' Spring demands. 'What are you up to?'
Rascal looks calmly at her. 'Don't you want to guess first?'
'Tell us!'
'Look at the card, that's my gift because...' he sighs. '...You will not see me again after this battle.'
'But you said you want to bring something with you before you leave!' Lucky says.
'Yes I do. But I also got you a farewell gift.' He points at the card in front of Breeze's face. 'Do you like it?'
'Stop it Rascal and tell us what you're up to!' Sunny demands.
Rascal starts to chuckle. 'You're never seeing me again, but also...'
He suddenly runst towards them. The girls scare and prepare for a fight.
'Glitter Breeze!' Rascal laughs nasty.
Suddenly the cards double in a fast amount of time. It captures Breeze. She screams in fear and Rascal tells the cards to come up to him.
'Breeze!' the girls yell.
'Goodbye!' Rascal laughs, licks Chloe's hair and then snaps his fingers. He disappears with Breeze. The sky turns normal again, but Rascal's evil, nasty laugh and Breeze's scream of horror still sounds. Cards float down.
Chloe is kidnapped.
(Sorry for my writersblock, this chapter didn't turn out as I wanted it to...)

The Guild
The world is broken. The apocalypse came and went, and only a fragment of humanity is left, scrambled into an unrecognizable mess. The remainders of the earth are filled with monsters from imagination and worse. Gates open periodically, leading to alien worlds, while dungeons form from damaged minds, creating nightmares for the unsuspecting. Some might see it as the end times. A hellscape. A story of humans pushed to their breaking points, desperately grasping for the last bits of humanity as the world crumbles around them. But a few might disagree. One man, in particular, sees opportunity. A chance. A path forward, to bring humanity from the depths of despair and turn it into a victory - a luxury. To remake the world even better than it was, dragging earth forward onto the galactic stage. It will require violence, lies, betrayals, magic, more violence, and the occasional genocide. But, hey. Everything worth doing is hard, right?

8 128Recovery of a Life
The prince of a kingdom was erased from the world. His very existence an enigma. Follow Xopil as he forces his life into a world that refuses to acknowledge his presence. I tried to write a novel without including all the standard things you find in certain genres, or if it is included, I hope it's at least a fresh take on it, this includes me breaking the fourth wall, probably too much. I'm wondering if that helped with humor at all, and also reconsidering if that should be a part of the story. I'm going to be rewriting every chapter at this point... and that chapter I'm extremely disappointed with could likely be deleted if not redone entirely. Now that this story is marked 'completed', I'll be going through each chapter and fleshing out the story a bit, as I found it severely lacking, and I've been saying to myself "I could have done more with that." way more often than I should be. And that speaks to my own dissatisfaction with my writing. I make no warranty-express or implied-as to the quality of these chapters, or the story as a whole. Cover art by Roman Valeyev
