《Gotham, I'm Back》~ 6.~

The moment we walked into the manor we saw chaos. The floor was covered in some sticky substance, one of the couches was shredded almost to single bits. Hanging from the chandelier were weird strands of something I couldn't name and the kitchen counter was on fire. On top of that Drake was chasing Brown, who had his coffee. Grayson was trying to put out the fire. Cain was playing with Pennywise's cats and Pennywise just stood there watching. Gordon was spending the day with her family. Todd was nowhere to be seen.(As far as I know Barbara and Steph aren't adopted by Bruce, but I made Stephanie adopted and Babs a family friend who hangs out and practically lives in the manor.)
-- Oh, goody. -- Was the only thing Pennyworth said after examinig the situation, while Angel and her friends just stood there dumbstruck. Then Pennywise spotted us and said:
-- Hi Demon and friends, welcome to the Wayne manor, sorry for the mess.--
--Wha-at happened.-- Angel asked and Pennywise replied.
-- Long story short. Dick tried making caramel but it exploded and caught fire. Steph took Tim his coffee and Jason thought it would be a good idea to give my cats some catnip. They sniffed it and tore the couch to shreds. He's now cleaning himself because one of the cats attacked him, before Cass managed to calm them down. The sticky substance on the chandelier and floor is the caramel. Bruce is so gonna ban him from the kitchen again. I think I should start cleaning before he comes home. --
--We can help, right guys?-- Angel said earning a round of "yeah"s and "sure"s. After an hour the house was clean, the cats happy, Drake got his coffee back and dinner was ready. We finished laughing over a story from Bourgeois's childhood when father came through the door.

-- Okayyy, what did I miss.--
-- Only that this little Pixie and her friends plus Damian helped clean the house after Dick exploded caramel. Nothing serious.-- Todd, who emerged from his room, said.
-- Nothing serious you say.--
-- Nothing more than normal. -- Pennywise finished and we sat down to eat. Even Pennyworth, who got convinced by Marinette joined.
-- Soo, how has your stay in Gotham been so far?-- Father asked and the red haired girl replied:
--Good, the best part of it was, that we didn't have to deal with Lie-la and her sheep for two whole days. It's a miracle.--
--Who is this Lie-la?--
--She is a girl from our class, that lies with every breath. For some reason she decided to...-- She trailed off after seeing Angel's look.
--... lie about knowing the Waynes, that is you, and dating Damian.-- She finished and Habiti's gaze softened. I wondered what could have made her this upset. Then I remembered that she was bullied by a girl named Lila. Dinner went by peacefully until Drake decided to ask:
--What's your favorite vigilante?--
Everybody had a different type except Mari. She only said:
--I can't decide between Batman and Robin. I actually like every vigilante, but their suits are horrible.--
--What why?--
Angel smirked at her friends and after they nodded she started a forty minute rant about how awful our suits are. (Sorry, I don't know what she can say.) By the end of it my imbecile brothers and dad's faces were priceless, and that was when she decided to drop the bomb:
-- Honestly Jason I don't know how you could be dumb enough to wear a red bucket on your head and call yourself Red Hood.-- All hell broke loose. Everyone was denying until I said:

--Please, she knows already. No need to deny.--
They were dumbstruck one again and I couldn't help it. I burst out laughing.
--The world is ending, demon spawn is laughing! Everybody RUNNN!!!--
Once everybody calmed down father said:
--Why don't you and your friends stay with us at the manor. I'm sure the boys would love to have you around.--
--Yeah Mari, can we?--
--Sure, thank you Bruce.--
--No problem Marinette, now I suppose it's time for you to go to sleep.--
--But we don't have our stuff!--
--Got you covered. Don't ask how, but I already picked up your suitcases from the hotel.-- Pennywise said.
--Okayy, thanks. -- Marinette said and we prepared to go to bed.

Fated Nirvana || Completed ✅
The Fated Series. Book #1. "A single minute without her in my arms and it felt like a lifetime." - Mateo Ramos My name is Mateo Adam Ramos. I was born into a family who's bleed for their reputation, and built us into being one of the most dangerous families to exist. You hear my name... you run. I for one am determined to continue upholding that reputation because that's in my blood. But things are never that simple, are they? Feeling and emotions got involved, and everything I thought I knew, vanished the second I met her. A soft souled, beautiful brown eyed girl who gleams with goodness found her way into my life. I shouldn't have played the good samaritan, that was my fault. I don't want to know goodness, and yet I'm drawn in like it's the light to cure my sins. This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
