Marinette's POV
Soon I was 20 weeks pregnant. It was a Saturday so I woke up early to make breakfast for once. I got up and got ready for the day.
Clothes:
Hair:
Makeup:
I went to the kitchen and made breakfast for everybody.
"Mistress Marinette?" Alfred said while walking the kitchen in, "You didn't have to! I could've made breakfast." He exclaimed.
"It's already done." I said smiling and started cleaning up the mess I made.
~time skip~
I was in the living room when I got a call. I didn't look at the ID before picking up which was a mistake.
"Hello?" I asked the unknown caller.
"Hello purrrincess." I could feel his smirk trough the phone.
"Don't call me that! How did you get my number?" I hissed at him.
"It doesn't matter, I want Plagg back." He said pissed off.
"Too bad that you won't get Plagg back. He is happy here. Do me a favour and don't EVER call me again." I said and hung up.
"Who was that, pixie?" Jason asked.
"Obsessed ex-boyfriend who wants Plagg back." I answered.
"Oh, almost forgot! I have to go to the fabric store for uncle Jagged's recent commission." I said and got up.
"Jagged as in Jagged Stone?!" Tim yelled while dropping his coffee mug.
"Mhm." I replied and chaos was created.
"Be careful, Jamila." Damian spoke and kissed my forehead.
"Always, mon démon." I answered and stood up.
"Bye guys!" I said and grabbed my purse before walking out.
I went to the fabric store and brought some fabrics. On my way back home I stopped at the park and was on a call with Chloe. Suddenly panic was everywhere. I looked around and saw the Riddler with his goons.

"Chlo, tell Damian and the rest that the Riddler is in the park right now." I whispered while glancing at his direction.
"WHAT? Alright I'm telling them now. STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!" She yelled and I hung up.
The Riddler looked around and I glared at him as he pointed at me.
"You, answer my riddles or everybody dies." He said while smiling as a maniac.
"Alright." I answered as he started.
"Riddle me this, what is the beginning of eternity, the end of time and space, the beginning of every end and the end of every race?"
"The letter 'E'." I answered.
"What occurs once in every minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?"
"The letter 'm'."
"What has neither nails or bones, but has four fingers and a thumb?"
"A glove."
"What must be broken before it can be used."
"Eggs."
"I can sneak up on you or be right in front of you without you knowing. But when I reveal myself you will never be the same."
"Betrayel."
'This is getting boring.' I thought and a moment after that Batman, Nightwing and Robin arrived.
'Finally.'
"That-that girl! She is even better then you! You are from now on Gotham's angel!" The Riddler said to Batman.
And with that Batman took him away. I immediately went home. When I arrived I placed my bags down and sat in the living room, scrolling trough my messages. Suddenly somebody hugged me from behind.
"Be more careful next time." Damian whispered and I nodded.

Fateless: The Silver Lining
It has been ten years of peace for the Union since the end of the great war with the eastern barbarian tribes, yet in the cold north of the Union's land, a new threat is looming. This time, an ambitious Lord is seeking to restore the yore pride of his kin, forcing the weakened Union into yet another unwanted war, as he ramps up the ranks of his army with thieves, murderers and mercenaries.* * *The temperature inside the forge was nearly twice as high as the one outside. A black-haired girl hammered a steel ingot into the shape of a blade. The heat of the steam was draining her stamina away, but her focus remained sharp as her sweat streamed down her face. Hit after hit, for hours, the sound of the hammering steel followed the rhythm of her breathing. Exhausted, she placed the blade into the water and wiped the sweat off her face using a drenched rag. Why are they screaming? Vatra dipped the rag back in the water, twisted it, and approached the window. Her mouth opened as her world shattered again into the living nightmare she had wilfully tried to forget. She bit her lips; it wasn’t a dream. The pulse of her heart rose. A cold sweat prickled her back. A mother was running, and a child was screaming. A torrent of smoke was emerging from the roof of her neighbour. Vatra’s eyes blinked. The mother lay on the ground, a spear through her back. A torch circled in the air and landed on the roof of her workshop. In the distance, a man wearing a banner well known to the world… Fateless is a philosophical medieval dark low fantasy centered on war, militaristic campaigns and geopolitical conflicts between multiple empires. This story follows the fate of Vatra, a former slave from the eastern Nar Empire who was raised in a culture far away from her own, forced into warfare against her will, and the fate of Lanaya, an ambitious half-angel exiled from her home whose existence is seen as heresy. As they wished for peace, both chose a path opposed to one another until their fate crossed. In this story where war dictates the law, love strikes them as a poisoned balm to which they grasp for with all their might, as it is in the darkest of times that the smallest flames may burn the brightest. * * * Tome 1 already completed and available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Fateless-Silver-Hugo-Emmanuel-Simard-Wallot/dp/B09LGSH1KK Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hugo-Emmanuel-Simard-Wallot-100547579135891/ I will publish 1 chapter per week (sometimes 2 if the chapters are too short for my liking).

Lear County Outlook
Based on true events in my life. Think of these stories as H P Lovecraft meets Rob Zombie. Each story has pieces, confessions, from the rural decay of Appalachia wrapped in horror and madness. All are set in the fictional county of Lear, which is a dark mirror held up to surface, idealized countryside. Blood and familial ties bind deep in a hopeless and rotted south. Tales are whispered of Hill Witches and Demons. Shunned communities molder. All these truths are hidden in the stories of deceit and lies. The first arc revolves around theft and exploitation at one of the last factories of Lear County. Abuse of power draws all down the path of madness.
