《Zaddy》EPILOGUE~ WEDDING DAY

•{JADA}•
Weird things have been happening. Very weird things.
First our cake doesn't appear. My flower arrangements are dying off. And my dress.....
My dress shrunk.
I was now in the guest room, weeping. As soon as my friends heard the news, everyone jumped into a car to find a store that carried or anyone who made wedding dresses.
Everything was a messy. How could I get married now?
Everything had went to shit so quickly. How can I fix a wedding that was supposed to start an hour ago?
Hey at least we arrived in Florida early for our wedding.
I checked my watch again and clutched onto my satin robe. I wiped my tears and sat onto the bed. I pulled a strand of hair behind my ear. I had put my hair into a curly Afro for the wedding.
I had stop sniffling when I heard light knocking on the door.
"Jada?"
I could clearly understand that it was Elijah. I was just confused as of why he would be in front of my door right now.
"I can't see you right now. Plus, I don't want to worsen the issue by the superstition." Elijah sighs deeply. I walked towards the door to place my hand against it. "I love you, Jada." My heart jumps at his calming tone.
"I love you too."
"I can't wait to make you my wife. I will marry you even if you have to wear a robe and the scenery is by the community pool." I giggled, playing with my engagement ring.
Soon to be married.
"I wish I could touch you. I wish I could calm you by cuddles and my kisses, Angel," he cooed. I am in love with this man. I never have loved someone like this before. My hormones get to me and my eyes begin to tear up. "Is our little bunny ok?"
I smiled while rubbing my protruding belly. "Yeah she's ok. Although she has been giving her mommy some cramps." I whimper when I feel one out of no where. "I don't have you here to soothe the pain."
Elijah groaned. I could feel the worry beyond the door. I know him too well. I know he's beating up himself inside.
"I'm right here. I promise I'm right here." He says.
"I know."
I could hear his steps walk away from the door.
Before I return to the bed, the door opens again.
"Elijah, you can't..."

This time revealing his mother.
"Oh, Ms. King."
She smiled up at me before walking towards me. "I've been upset with my behavior. I shouldn't have pushed this negativity on you. I should have appreciated you more. Especially since you've been taking care of my granddaughter and son. You're a good person and soon you'll be a good wife." She voiced before placing a necklace into my hand. It was a beautiful golden necklace that had a ring attached. "Oh, Ms. King. I can't...."
"This was my mothers. Elijah wanted you to wear it but I denied because.... I wanted to be the one to give it to you."
I smiled at her which she reciprocated. She was bound to walk out until I stopped her. "Can you help me put this on?"
She comes behind me placing it on. I smiled looking through the mirror. "Thank you." She rubbed my stomach and shoulder slightly before nodding. She soon left the room and I was left alone.
I sat back on the bed and eventually took a nap, waiting for the others. That's the first sleep I've had ever since I started wedding planning. And it felt nice. I didn't feel worried. I felt content.
I hear the door burst open which caused me to jump a little. Everyone pants loudly setting things aside. Ricky rushed towards me. "I'm so sorry, Princess. Today wasn't as planned." He kissed my cheek before walking me towards the makeup seat. Kadence and Nora started to fix up my makeup as Paige steamed my dress a bit. Danny looked all over the room for my shoes. All this happening and I was still stuck in my slumber phase. I could barely comprehend what was really going on. I quickly shook my head a bit, slapping my cheeks lightly.
"Alright, Danny. Where's the shoes?" Ricky asked.
I slipped into my dress with the help of Paige. Danny rushed from the bathroom with my shoes. "Here! Here!" He says, giving them to Ricky. Ricky bent down placing them on my feet.
Everyone stood back looking at me in awe. My cheeks heated up. They all had their shares of compliments before rushing out of the room. I grabbed my bouquet and took deep breaths before walking downstairs. My father appeared around the stairs. He sat on a chair a bit tired. I walked up to him and his mood changed entirely. He smiled at me before grabbing my hand. "My sweet sweet little baby girl. I can't believe this is about to happen." He caressed my cheeks. "This was everything you dreamed of. I remember you stealing your moms wedding dress, pretending your stuffed animal was your husband to be. I knew this day would come and now...now that it's here, I'm in awe. You finally get to live that dream." My eyes began to water at his sentimental diction.

"I love you, pops."
"And I love you, Jada."
He grabbed my arm, placing it onto his. He told me to breathe when the door opened. And what I had once feared for, looked amazing.
Everything was as I dreamed.

My eyes watered as I looked at the man in front of me. His eyes watered as much as mine did. I smiled at him as he stared at my attire.
Everything was beautiful. Hell astonishing.
That was until........
"Rain, really????!" I yelled as Elijah grasped my hand. We all made sure to not step onto the grass. "I don't know what's going on with today." Everyone rushed into a dinning hall within the resort. People took seats with semi wet clothes. I could feel the waterworks again as I examined the disastrous scene. Elijah noticed to which he quickly tried to shut down. "No, no. We're gonna get married. We're gonna have a beautiful wedding." He says, caressing my cheeks. He kissed my lips before pulling away. "You've got me, Princess?"
I nodded. "Words, Jada."
"Yes, I-I've got you."
An hour later and thankfully it was still a bit light out. We all got back to our positions and tried again. And it felt faster than I thought. Well, actually it was because we were cautious of any mishaps.
Elijah and I shared our vows.
His was heartfelt. There was no way I could be left dry eyed after that.
", I'm so happy I met you. You're kind, compassionate, beautiful, sexy."
I avoided my parents stare as he said that.
"You're everything I want. Everything I need. I'm so lucky that I met you in that restaurant. Who would know that being forced on a day out with acquaintances would lead me to you. And I'm glad for that. I'm happy for that. I got to meet the person I'm gonna spend my life with. The beautiful woman I will have the honor to call my wife. I love you so so much. Thank you for being an amazing step mother to Miya, an amazing girlfriend, an amazing fiancé and soon to be an amazing wife. For always and Forever, Mrs. King."
I could kiss him right now.
I took breaths before reading my vows. I couldn't recite them because of all this wedding stress. But anyways.....
"I had wrote this on a piece a paper but some of it got ruined from the rain. So, I'll be speaking from the heart. , I've met a man like you before. Hell, I've never had love like this before. This is a fantasy. This is what I pictured as love but I didn't believe it at first because I've never encountered such a thing. I gave in and I never regret it. I've found my one and only. And I'm not letting it go. It was also because of you that I met my new family and I thank you for that. I love you so much, sweetheart. You're such a good man and a good father."
He cradled my stomach. I wiped his tears as he sniffled.
The priest spoke through the ring trading before announcing us as the Kings.
"By the power in vested in me by the state of Florida, I now pronounce you husband and wife." The priest says. We both jump towards each other, smothering each other with sweet kisses.
"I love you so much." Elijah mumbled against my lips. Before I could even say it back, he collided his lips with mine.
It was dark out and everyone was enjoying themselves. People were eating and having conversations. Lights were dimmed down and the beach waves splashed against the shore. Elijah had brought me onto the dance floor, slowly gliding to the music. My stomach cramped again for the 30th time tonight. I took a deep breath, pressing against his chest. "You ok?"
"Yeah."
He smiled down at me. His brown eyes looked into mine. Lights illuminating off of his and his scent engulfed me. "You're finally mine." He pecked my lips two times before releasing me. His hands found their way onto my belly.
"I love you," I breathed out.
"And I love you. Always and forever."
I pressed against his chest again.
"How are you feeling Mrs, King?"
I couldn't even speak back. I was too focused on the pain inside of me. Worried and puzzled, he asked again. I looked up at him and said in a calm tone. "I think my water just broke."
