•{ELIJAH}•

As Jada walked out of the room, a sudden rage filled within me. I was mad at myself for even trying to accuse her of such a thing. She's been so loyal for so long. Why would she commit infidelity?

I reached for the door but heard steps echoing from outside of the door. I wait a few minutes before I quietly opened the door and walked out.

I heard shuffling from downstairs. I looked over the railing, checking for Jada. I see Rani's eyes. He looks back at Jada, smirking.

"You don't want me to eat you out while you grip the sheets. You wanna come all over my face? Huh?"

My dinner rose within as I heard his repulsive words. My mind was baffled. What the actual fuck is this guy talking about?

Jada shook her head. "Why would you say something like that?"

My steps echoed causing both the two's attention to be occupied by me. "Jada?"

My height towered over Rani. Though my imitating stare, he wouldn't step back. "Rani, what's going on?"

I looked at Jada with watery eyes. I sniffled with my red — pink hued nose.

"It's nothing. He's talking crazy."

Rani snickered and looked over to Jada. Before I knew it, he had grabbed Jada. "You've been such a problem. I should have done Paige a favor and made you disappear." He grumbled. Jada struggled as he blocked her airway. I quickly ran behind him, pulling him to the ground. I placed him in a headlock as he tried to grab Jada. Rani threw his head back, hitting my nose. I groaned in pain as blood rushed out of my nostrils. Rani pulled out a gun at Jada. I rushed towards him, knocking him over the couch. I laid on top of him as he tried to reach for the gun. I choked him once again and Jada grasped the gun. Rani knocked out just as soon as the guest inside the cabin ran out of their rooms.

"Oh my god. What the fuck happened?" Danny yelled, rushing down the stairs. He embraced Jada and checked for any injuries. She had a purple colored bruise on her neck. Her eyes were pink from crying.

As Danny released her from his grasp, he grabbed his phone and called the cops. Jada rushed into my arms and sobbed til my shirt was a bit soaked.

The cops arrived and carried Rani to the car. I watched as they did and for only a second we had made eye contact. He slightly smirked at me before sitting into the back of the car. It gave me chills of how he could smile after what he just did.

I walked over to Jada and pulled her into my warm embrace. She sniffled and snuggled into my chest. "I-I love you," she mumbled into my chest. I pecked her head. "I love you too."

𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 & 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐘

Everyone decided to stay until Christmas Day. Though the previous events caused a weird and eerie atmosphere, We should at least spend our three days in the snowy forest. Jada was still shooken up from that night. She's more fragile and easily frightened. She wakes up, startled and breathless. I couldn't even leave her alone for a second. I once left to get breakfast for the both of us and she came out of the room in my oversized hoodie, with tears in her eyes. She rushed into my arms, trembling.

Elijah and I were outside in the cold weather and decided to take a dip into the Jacuzzi. Elijah laid his arms around the brim of the jacuzzi as I laid across from him.

I deeply sighed as my body dipped into the warm temperature water. I closed my eyes and heard the water spatter around. I opened my eyes to see Elijah in front of me. "Hey, baby." He gave me a playful smile before picking me up. He carried onto his lap before sitting onto a seat attached to the tub. He kissed my cheek and rubbed my sides, calming me down. "I got you, Bebe."

"T-Thank you so much." I paused before erupting into tears. "I was really scared. I love you so so much." He wipes my tears and nods his head. "I have you in my arms — here with me. I love you so much. You hear me. I don't care if I break my nose in the process." I looked to examine his red, purple hued nose. Small bandages covering it. "I will always and I mean always be there for you. This is what this means." He raised his hand, which was accessorized with his engagement ring. "I'm committing to this crazy life we live and you, my love. I was scared as well of losing you. But you're here and that's all I wanna acknowledge for right now." His hands cupped my face. "My wife."

I placed my hands against his. "Elijah, Paige cheated with Rani. That's why I've been so closed off. I didn't say anything because...."

"They would've threatened you." He continued.

I give him a muddled look. "I found out after you left vacation. I had packed my things and left the villa. I heard the two guzzling down each other's throats. I heard about their plan against you when I talked to Kadence the night, he was arrested. I didn't say anything to you because I felt that it didn't matter. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."

I didn't have time to be mad. I didn't want to be. This wasn't the moment to be angry at all. All I wanted to do was shower him with love and compassion. This incident has made me learn that things could change any second. I don't wanna spend it in anger or resentment towards Elijah. I kissed him and hugged him tightly.

Elijah had feel asleep upstairs and I took the time to go downstairs. I made sure to leave some lights on and my awareness was on high alert. As I walked to the kitchen, I saw Paige pull her suitcase towards the door. "Paige?"

She turned towards me with red eyes. "Where are you going?"

"You going home to Miya?" I added.

She shook her head and rubbed her hands together, regaining warmth. "I gotta leave. Tell Elijah I'll be out of the country for a bit." I tilted my head which caused her to stand in place. "Are you serious?"

She sniffled. "Look, I can't stay here. I gotta go. So, I advised you to please let me leave, peaceful. Like I wasn't even here."

"Paige, you're a mother."

She gripped her hair. "I know. I know am and I'm sorry about the crazed events that had occurred." Her jaw clenched as she crossed her arms.

"Paige," I paused. "I'm surprised that a woman that's a bit older than me uses no logic. In fact, a person who has carried a baby girl inside of her, has no knowledge of what it means to be a mother. You're child is three years old. Three." I raise up three fingers. "She has no knowledge of what her mother has done or what mess she's intertwined herself with. Years and years will pass. And your daughter will begin to question what her mother has attained and where your presence has gone."

"You've cared so much about me filling your slot but haven't once thought about your own daughter. Times you've spent messing with me could've been well spent with your daughter on a day out in town." Paige begins to sob but I give her no mercy. "How is it that a 'stranger' is more of a mother to your own daughter? Huh?"

"If you keeping fucking up, Miya will grow up disappointed and envious of what could have been. How is that I know more than you?"

"From her favorite meals, clothes, where her school is. I didn't even birth this child yet I act as if I did." I walked away from her, only to turn around once again. "If you keep fucking up, like I said before Paige. Your daughter will ask about you and I will tell her that her mother left. She left everyone behind like the selfish bitch is."

"I'm so s-sor...."

". I need you to acknowledge your wrongdoings and do something about it. Yes, you fucked up by bringing that man on vacation. That man that could have killed me. And that's not something I've ever forget." I grabbed a water from the kitchen and walked upstairs. I heard the door close downstairs, to which I released a big sigh to.

Disappointed yes — surprised no.
