Jada walked to the door, storming out. A curse word released from my mouth. What have I done?
We never get into fights. Why start now?
For the past few weeks, I've been off edge. My mother was visiting and I haven't told her about Jada but I'm sure she knows now. I never tell my mother about my girlfriends. Every time I do, she immediately finds a way to dislike them. But there's only two people she will let in. My daughter and her monster... I mean mother. Jada has been asking about it every single day. I've been so quiet. Jada has been so open about her parents but I feel guilty that I haven't done the same. I can tell she's been agitated with me lately.
It was 6:30 pm and I've been waiting at home for hours. Jada was suppose to be here by 5. If she moved in, she wouldn't have to move back in forth.
I took time off my job to come home and have dinner with my two baby girls. I get to have Miya for the week and Jada wanted to join but she's not even here.
I feed Miya some fruit. She gives me a cheeky smile, biting into her apple slices. "Dada?"
I nod, cleaning the kitchen counter. She puts aside her slices and points towards the plate of cookies. "I want a cookie." I smile, shaking my head. She's been eating way too much sugar lately. She whimpers, giving me her teary puppy eyes. I shake my head in disapproval. "No, Ōjo."
The tear works begin and her cries echo across the kitchen. I curse to myself and grasp my hair. I'm already stressed out. This added to the pressure. I sigh and grab a single cookie from the plate. "You see this, Miya." She nods repeatedly. I couldn't help but smile at my little girl. "I will give you this....later." She frowns and shakes her head.
"They will be waiting for you. I promise." She nods and wipes her eyes. I grab a napkin and gently wipe her eyes. She yawns and reaches out for me. I quickly grab the sleepy girl and carry her to her room. Before I could actually reach the room, she already fell into deep slumber.
I place her down, gently. I quickly rush downstairs cleaning the dinner table, which was covered with take out food. I knew Jada would love Italian food. So, I ordered some and baked homemade cake. I baked a red velvet cake which was also her personal favorite flavor. I placed everything in plastic containers and drank the last bit of wine.

The door opened to show the late woman herself. Kara pants, holding onto her chest. She slams the door causing me jump. "Don't close the door like that." She frowns and nods at my request.
She faces the floor, taking a sit in front of me. "Umm...I'm sorry. I got caught up in practice with Kadence. After practice we went out for drinks." I nod barely taking in her excuse. It's the same thing over and over again. She's letting her model life consume her. Yes it's her job but I should still take a part in her life.
"I get it, Jada." She furrows her eyebrows and crosses her arms. "Elijah, Do you have something to say?"
I laugh to myself and shake my head. "No, baby." I walk over to her and peck her lips. But one kiss wasn't enough. I deepen the kiss, tilting her head. Even when mad, I couldn't get enough of her. She pulls away from and bites her lip. "You're not ok, Elijah." I sigh, pulling out the chair beside her.
"You've been busy for a few days. You came here late. Miya's already sleeping. Your dinner is packed."
"Baby, I'm sorry. But this is apart of my job." I nod repeatedly. I peck her forehead before grabbing her plate. I place it in front of her. She pouts as she opens the container. "Elijah." I smile, pecking her lips. She bites into her food, moaning at the savory taste.
After dinner, Jada dressed into nightgown. She slipped under the covers, snuggling into my touch. There was silence between us. Jada slowly breaths out, grasping my hand. "Elijah." I murmured a Mmmm, closing my eyes in the process.
"You were upset earlier and I- "
I sigh and lift my hand from her grasp. My back lays against the covers. As her back lays against my arm, she frowns and pulls back her bonnet. "What is wrong?"
"You know what's so wrong?" I asked, irritated.
"You always come late. Today you were supposed to bond with Miya."
She rubs her temple and sighs. "I know and I'm sorry. I just got so caught up in work." I pull away my arm to sit against the headboard.
"Yeah but you could also have time for me. If you want to be in my life and be involved with my daughter, then make time for us."
"I will and you know I want to. But if I'm late because of work. Then I can't do much about it."

"Forget about it then." She gives me a stern look and sits up beside me. "Forget I even said anything about this situation. If it's not such a big deal then forget about it."
"Are you serious?" She asked.
"Elijah, forget about what?!" Her tone becomes more and more aggressive. I give her a warning look but she still stand her ground. "You know what?"
"You've been really rude lately." She snapped.
"It seemed to all start with your mother. Ever since I asked, you've been on my case." She crosses her arms and stares forward.
"This isn't about my mother," I grumbled.
"This is about our time together." I added
"Then don't bring Miya into this. I love that little girl. You're rude for even questioning whether or not I want to even spend time with her." Her eyes become teary. "I can't stand that you said that."
Guilt fills me instantly. I grip my hair for the fifth time today.
"I would love to have time with Miya but you know I have work."
"So do I but my daughter is always my first priority and if you're gonna be in her life then make time for her."
Jada's face drops and tears fall from her eyes.
"And you know what. My mother has nothing to do about this. Yes I've been so quiet about her but that is none of your business." She scoffs and stands up, slipping on her satin robe.
Jada walked to the door, storming out. A curse word released from my mouth. What have I done?
We never get into fights. Why start now?
I take a breather as my body falls onto the bed.
I waited a few minutes so we both could cool off. But soon my need for her was increasing by the minute. I needed her by my side. I could no longer be mad at her.
I searched the house to find her. I become frantic when I don't see her anywhere.
"No.no.no," I mumbled. She can't leave now.
A sigh of relief is released when I see her sitting in my game area. Jada turns towards me with a bowl of ice cream and puffy eyes. She sniffles as she sets the bowl in front of her. She stands up with a fluffy blanket and passes me. I follow her small steps to the kitchen. "Jada, please. Baby, I'm sorry." She keeps silent as she grabs a water bottle.
"Jada?"
"Elijah..."
I pull her close, wrapping my arms around her waist. She sighs and wipes her tears. "I didn't mean to make you cry. I lied earlier. I have been irritated because of the discussion of my mother. I never really talked about her with my previous partners." Jada looks up into my eyes and her small hands traced down my chest.
"Elijah, you don't know how much I wanted to be with you two today. Yes, I'm sorry for going to the bar. But please stop lashing out on me." I kissed her head and nod. I repeatedly say sorry, pulling her into a tight hug. "Why are you secretive about your mother?"
I'm hesitant to talk but I release the truth anyway. "My mother isn't a very pleasing when it comes to my girlfriends. She's very judgmental." Jada's eyes widen and she slightly pulls away.
"Is she gonna hate me?"
I instantly feel regret and shake my head. I shouldn't have said anything. "She won't hate you. You are amazing. You are smart, kind, and a goddess." Jada gives a lighthearted laugh and nods. I wipe her tear stained cheeks and kissed her lips. She melts into my touch, letting me lift her up. Her soft moans sounds like music to my ears.
I place her on the counter as her hands tugs on my shirt. I lift it above my head as she scrunched up her nightgown. Her lips sync into mine whilst my hands began to reach for her panties. A groan released from my lips as I feel her bare pussy.
"No panties?"
She nods and bites her lips. I grin and chuckle, kissing her soft lips again. Just as I was about to slip between her folds a knock echoes from the front door. I groan in frustration and release the horny voluptuous woman in front of me. "We'll continue this later." She bites her lip and giggles.
Jada slips off the counter, pulling down her gown. I slipped on my shirt and fixed my sweatpants. We both rushed towards the front door. I open it to see the surprising guest. The woman I had just mentioned.
"Hey, mom."
