To anyone who has not read the "Throne of Glass" series -
This special bonus chapter will contain spoilers.
Yes, this will be an eventual crossover, but I don't want to anger anyone who hasn't read or finished Celaena Sardothian's journey. I recommend reading the entire series first.

Elain jolts awake as the cold water washes over her feet.
She holds Nyx tightly in her arms, his cries shrieking through the air. Elain could see a cut on top of his left wing, the blood dripping onto her soaked dress.
Elain immediately sat up, ignoring the pounding in her head. She sets her nephew down on her lap, moving her legs up and down to calm him. She rips a piece of her peach-colored dress, wrapping it over the wound.
Once she does the best that she can, she takes the child into her arms once more, rocking back and forth to soothe him as she takes in her surroundings.
She is at the shores of a beach unknown to her, the sand sticking onto her wet attire. The waves overlap harshly over one another, spraying cool mist onto her. Elain shivers as the wind hits her skin, feeling as if she was going to freeze if she didn't move. The sky was bright, but the sun never showed, giving her no sense of warmth.
A few feet away, Elain could see Perseus, the Daughter of Dawn's wolf, eating a dead animal of some sort. Once he laid eyes on her, the wolf immediately sprinted towards them, smelling Nyx and licking the covered wound on his wing, making the child whine.
"Where are we?" Elain breathes, feeling nothing of the world she knew.
She stands from the grass, hissing as the cold water flowed down her legs. Perseus whined, nudging Elain's leg. He growled.
"What is it, Perseus?" She asked, looking at her nephew, wanting to make sure that he was okay. The boy cried silently, but Elain wiped his tears away, putting her lips on his forehead.
Elain heard a few voices in front of her as she was distracted, making her lift her head. She saw five men on the shore with her, staring at her as if she were a piece of meat to be passed around. They smiled at her, licking their lips as they grew closer to her.
"Perseus, protect," Elain commanded, not taking her eyes off the men.
Immediately, Perseus growled at the men, warning them not to come any closer. The men stared down at the wolf, their toothy grins disappearing from their faces. Perseus barks at them, making them stumble back as the wolf stalks closer to them.
Elain steps forward, her blood boiling beneath her veins, "Where am I?" She seethes, feeling as if she might explode with anger.
One of the men narrows his brows, "What do you mean? Did you hit your head or something, clueless bitch?" He asks.
Again, Perseus growls.
"If you don't want me to command that wolf to rip all your heads off, tell me where the hell I am! How did I end up here?" She yells at them.
"How the fuck are we to know? We should be asking you. There was a rumbling that shook the entire island and then a huge bright light came from this side of the shore. We came to investigate and we found you." Another one of the men explains.
Elain felt her stomach drop.
The last thing she remembered was Nesta pushing her into the portal she and the human Cauldron had created. Everything had gone dark after that.

Elain felt the realization hit deep in her heart. Her sister had betrayed her.
"This island, is it close to Prythian? Is there someone that could get me and my nephew home? I cannot stay here and neither can he." She asks them, hoping they would be able to help her.
"Prythian? What the fuck is you on about? There ain't no place in the world with that name." Another man answers.
Elain felt as if the air was knocked out of her lungs, feeling as if hope was taken from her and crushed right in front of her face. She wanted to scream out to her mate, to Helion, to Feyre, wondering if they would answer and take her back home. She wanted this to be a nightmare that she would eventually wake up from.
But she was already awake. This was real.
She took a deep breath, "Is there someone who can help me find my way back home? Is there a ruler on this island, someone who knows more than you all?" She asks them, rocking her whining nephew as he grows fussy in her arms.
The men look at one another before turning back to her, "Our captain is busy, but we can take you to see him. He will eventually be available to see you but you might have to wait. You can follow us." One of them tells her.
Elain sighs, knowing that she shouldn't rely on these men, "Alright, take me to him. But I swear if you try to lay a hand on me or my nephew, the wolf will scatter your limbs on the sand." She warns them.
The men scoff and turn away, making Elain follow them further into the island.
***
As they walk on the stone pavement, Elain admires the beautiful ships that are docked at the harbor. She sees men loading and unloading boxes from them, sweeping the decks, or singing sea shanties as they continue their work.
Elain had seen ships up close as she and Lucien were exploring the Day Court when they weren't busy. They had found themselves at the docks, staring up at the humongous ships as the men unloaded cargo. She remembered the waves crashing against the wood, feeling the mist of the sea, and hearing the men sing.
She and her mate went so often that they knew most of the shanties to sing along.
But here on this unknown island, Elain found herself wanting to jump into the ocean and swim to another land before she died of the scent of piss and ale.
Especially with the growing baby in her belly, she felt the bile rising in her throat, but she did her best to hold it down as she walked through the town.
Elain looked around at the poor conditions people were living in. Children ran around with dirt and mud on their bodies. Women wore practically nothing on their bodies, looking around to snatch anyone that would pay them. Men were either working or on the streets drinking or publicly having sex with one of the women they paid.
Elain looked at the rundown building, hearing it bussing with people on the other side of the door. The Sea Dragon, it was called. A tavern. Men were sitting outside on the pavement, drunk or drinking, having conversations that didn't even make sense. But somehow, they understood what the other was trying to say.
But as she walked past them, Elain could feel many eyes on her, especially on her nephew, who slept in her arms. His wings were out, making people mutter things that weren't too kind. She kept herself calm, not wanting to cause a scene on this foreign land. All she wanted right now was help.

The men stopped in front of the biggest ships of them all, turning to look at Elain. She stopped a few feet away from them, having Perseus in the middle of them.
"Whose ship is this?" Elain asks, seeing that it looked newer than the others. It was as if it was crafted with the finest wood, having gentle hands sculpting it into the beauty that it was now. The men that were on the ship cleaned the deck, brooming it or on their knees scrubbing with soap and water.
One of the men spoke, "This is our captain's ship. As we said, he isn't here right now, but he will be later on. You have permission to wait for him on the deck. We will inform him that you are here, but you cannot step off once you step on there. You either wait here or you take your chances elsewhere." He tells her.
Elain looks at him briefly before turning away to look at the grand ship once more, "Do you think he'll be able to answer my questions? I have many of them?" She tells them.
Another man shrugs, "He could have some, but not all. We don't know much about your kind, but he might know. So either you head up there and wait or you leave. Eswin will wait with you." He says, gesturing to one of the men in the group.
Elain becomes frustrated, feeling hopelessness blossom in her once more. Whoever this captain was, he was her best chance in knowing how she might get back home. She looked down at her sleeping nephew, knowing that he too was wondering where he was, feeling the separation from his parents as Elain was feeling with Lucien.
She wondered if Nesta held her end of the promise or if she lied about that too.
Elain looked at the men, nodding once, before heading onto the ship. Perseus followed behind her, making sure that none of the men try anything. Eswin made sure to put some distance between himself and the wolf.
As Elain stepped onto the deck, all eyes were on her. The men stopped what they were doing, tilting their heads as if they were dogs.
Eswin stood beside her, pointing to the front of the ship, "Go sit over there. It might be a while so you can roam. If you need anything, ask me. I'll be on the ship with you so you don't try anything funny." He tells her.
Elain rolls her eyes, walking to the front of the ship, and sitting on the barrel. Nyx stirs in her arms, but she quickly rocks back and forth, not wanting to wake him. He needed sleep, especially with his injury, she didn't want him to hurt himself even more.
Perseus positioned himself beside Elain, looking behind her. She could hear his low growls, knowing that men were trying to get close, but the wolf wasn't having it. Elain was glad that he was by her side, knowing that she needed to be wide awake if she was alone.
Elain rested her head on the post behind her, feeling herself grow tired. She knew that she shouldn't sleep, but exhaustion racked her body. With the entire world falling apart around her, she felt as if she could sleep forever, not having to worry about the dangers that were about to come.
She saw Damian's vision flash in her mind.
A male with wings, floating in the sky, his body covered in darkness and stars. The shadows swirled around him as if he controlled night itself. His violet-blue eyes gleamed with violence and vengeance. His power collided with the day, entwining together as if they were the perfect match.
Beneath him, a female walked on the ground, her body glowing and her hands casting flames. Her bright red hair moved fiercely in the wind and her gold eyes shined brighter than the sun, blinding anyone that dared to harm her. It was as if she controlled the Day itself; a goddess with great power.
Elain laid her hand on her flat stomach, knowing that her baby was the Child of Day and that her nephew in her arms was the Child of Night.
She knew that she couldn't let anything happen to these children, especially since they both had a huge responsibility to uphold. Elain felt sorry for them, knowing that they never had a choice in whether to wield these powers they were given. She remembered when she had been forced into the Cauldron, gaining a power she never wanted.
In the beginning, she would pray to the Mother to take it away from her, believing that it was a curse to her very being. But as time went on, she had to learn to live with it, accepting it as a part of herself that still bothered her from time to time, but not as much as before.
Elain took a deep breath, "Guide us back home," she breathed, hoping that any otherworldly being would answer her silent prayer.
***
As hours passed and the sun had started setting on the horizon, Elain watched as her nephew played around with Perseus.
She admired the bond the wolf had with him, seeing him being gentle with Feyre and Rhysand's son. Perseus would use his nose to tickle the child's stomach, making him let out a laugh that made Elain chuckle. Soon, her child would hopefully experience the same.
Suddenly, she heard heavy steps ascending onto the grand ship. Elain immediately stood from the wooden floor, picking up Nyx, and holding him tightly. Perseus was also on guard, wondering who was making their way onto the ship.
Elain saw the male come into view, his heavy black boots stomping onto the boat. His beautiful sea-green eyes beheld hers, boring with such intensity that almost made her look away. His tan skin was covered in sweat, making his muscles gleam in the sunset. His fingers combed back his shoulder-length black hair, letting Elain see the intricate tattoos on his wrist.
She would be lying if she said he wasn't attractive.
The male was dressed like a captain heading out to sea to gain his treasure. He was young, lean, and strong, looking like he could demolish anyone who dared to cross him. Elain stared down at his sword, admiring the sea-dragon pommel that seemed as if it was sculpted by the same hands who built this fine ship.
"Ah, you must be the beautiful siren that my men said they found on the shores. I am Captain Rolfe, the Lord of Skull's Bay." The male tells her, taking a few steps towards her.
Perseus growls his warning.
Elain scoffs, "I am no siren, Captain. I am simply a person who is asking for your help. I don't know where I am, but I have to get back to my home. My family is in grave danger and this place is a foreign land to me." She says to him.
The Captain narrows his brows, "What do you mean that you don't know where you are? This is the continent of Erilea. You are standing in the Dead Islands. My territory. Did you give yourself a bad bruise on your head that you don't remember anything?" He asks.
"I am from the continent of Prythian. Your men said that they have never heard of it, but that can't be right. Surely, we are not far from it." She tells him, feeling her heart hammer in her chest.
Captain Rolfe doesn't take his eyes off hers, "I have sailed through every sea and touched every continent. I can assure you, beautiful siren, that the continent you allege you come from doesn't exist." He says to her.
Elain starts to break apart, "Then this isn't my world. I don't belong here. My nephew and I were forced into a portal by my sister who has been corrupted by an evil being. I had believed that we landed on another continent. But this is far worse than I imagined." She says, sitting back down on the barrel.
Rolfe steps closer to them, looking down at Nyx. He pauses for a moment as if he sees something that he hadn't before. He looks back at Elain, "Tuck your hair behind your ear." He says to her.
Elain does what she's told, letting him see her Fae ears. The Captain grins, "Ah, I see now. You are one of them. Although, I have never seen one like him before. But hey, first time for everything. I needed an excuse to visit her again," he leans down, "and you, beautiful siren, are a perfect excuse."
Rolfe walks away from her, heading to the quarters of his ship. Elain stands from the barrel, "Wait, who? Is she someone who can help us?" She calls out.
The Captain turns to her, "Well, I would believe so, seeing as you both are similar in species. She might have the answers you are looking for. I have none for you. I will take you to Terrasen, but she will have to pay me some pretty marks for bringing a stunning treasure like you." He says.
Elain ignores his comment, "But who is she you speak of?" She asks, feeling millions of questions roam through her mind.
The Captain smirks, "Queen Aelin Galathynius of the kingdom of Terrasen." He says before turning away.
Elain watches him leave, seeing the doors of the quarters close behind him. She looks at Nyx, who stares up at the stars in the sky. He reaches his arms out to them as if he could take one into the palm of his hand. The night was calling out to him and Elain swore she saw his eyes gleam in answer.
