I felt everything give out inside of me.

I fell to the ground.

I wasn't able to feel my mate.

I wasn't able to feel the growing bond with my unborn child.

It was just... empty, like a void.

My whole world was falling apart in mere seconds, my mind scrambling to find anything that told me if Elain was still alive, hoping that I could find her heartbeat in the emptiness.

But there was nothing.

My father was behind me, shaking me, but I couldn't move.

I was calling out her name, hoping that she could hear me through our bond, but nothing came down. I plead for her to answer me, to let me feel something of her.

But again, there was nothing.

I was silently dying, feeling every piece of me crumble into ashes.

Elain.

My child.

They had disappeared from me at the same time.

I couldn't feel them.

The pain overwhelmed everything within me.

I screamed, letting out every emotion all at once.
