It wasn't long before Karter and I came to a stop outside Theo's house. Nova slept soundly in the arms of our beloved, her soft breaths sounding in my ears as I kissed her forehead.

"We should head inside. I'm sure when Nova wakes up she'll want to see Ryan and Eli." Karter stated. I nodded and pecked his lips before heading in front to open the door.

"Where the hell were you?" A thunderous growl shook the house. Nova jumped and lifted herself from Karters shoulder and looked around. "Do you have any idea how fucking worried sick we've all been." Ryan growled.

Karter and Novas family sat in the living room with no member missing. I guess Thomas and Xander came back since I did leave in a hurry when Nova left. I guess we were all so caught up with each other we didn't even think to tell anyone we were safe.

"Sorry dada." Nova said sleepily. "But I found Karter."

"Nova you can't run off like that." Ryan came over to her. Karter put her down but kept his arms around her waist and back against his chest. "What we're you thinking? Leaving like that and not telling anyone? What if you got hurt?"

"Sorry dada. B-but I found Karter. I make him all better now." She muttered quietly. Her head down not looking at anyone.

"It's mainly our fault." I said. "I didn't think to tell you when I found her. I guess we were just caught up." I scratched the back of my neck.

"Don't ever worry me like that again, okay? Any of you." Ryan looked between the three of us. "Goddess kiddo you had me worried." He pulled Nova into his arms.

"Sorry dada." Nova mumbled closing her eyes as she yawned.

"Come on baby. Let's go lay down yeah." I smiled softly. Nova and Karter nodded and we all went up our bedroom. I placed our bags down seeing as Karter had carried Nova up. In the short time it took us to reach our bedroom, nova was out like a light. Her steady breaths filled the room.

"She's so fucking adorable." Karter chuckled lightly with a smile as he laid her down.

"Yeah. She's definitely one of a kind." I smiled back. I laid behind her wrapping an arm around her with the other going under her head. Karter did the same but one arm under Nova's side.

"I can't wait to start a family with the two of you. I can't imagine anything better." I muttered lowly so we don't wake nova.

"Yeah. She'd be such a great mum. I don't know why I freaked out so much when she asked about it the first time." Karter sighed. "I guess her asking made me realise she wouldn't be her anymore, she'd change and adapt for the pup and I don't want her to. She shouldn't have to."

"She'll still be her, Karter. No one can change quickly nor too much, especially Nova. I think it'll be okay. Just one step at a time." I reassured him.

"I know. She'd be so amazing. I want to wake her up so we can start now." He chuckled lightly staring at the small wolf in our arms.

"Might be a bit late for that." I muttered with a small smile.

"What?" Karter looked at me in shock.

"When I fed on her, we didn't use protection. It wasn't until I woke up I realised. There were no condoms in the bin, the than the couple we used the night before. And considering we went at it a lot, I think we should be getting ready to welcome a pup soon. Or vampire."

"I guess it's time to start sorting my house out." He smiled. "Damn, what if she really is?" Karters smile widened as he rubbed her belly. Only for it to fall seconds later. "What if she doesn't want it? What if what I said to her makes her not want pups anymore? Goddess, I was so out of order to her."

"And she was out of order to you, Karter. Stuff was said both ways that day, and we've resolved it. I'm sure we'll be fine. You two will be fine." I grabbed his hand, entwining our hands over Nova so we could still hold her.

"What if-," Karter started so I cut him off.

"No more Karter. It'll all be okay. You made up, you've forgiven her and yes what you both said was wrong, but you both know that now. So I think you should stop thinking about the negative and think on the positive. Because what if she is pregnant? We need to think about her and the pups." I told him.

"Yeah." He whispered with a nod. "I love you, so much. I'm so glad the moon goddess gave me you both."

"And I love you more. So does Nova. We wouldn't change you for anything."

"And I wouldn't change you." He replied. "Nor Nova. Best things that ever happened to me."

"Let's get some sleep. I'm tired." I yawn and nuzzle my nose into Novas neck.

"I'm not tired so I'm going to go see my parents. I think we need to talk and clear the air." Karter told me.

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you more." He leaned over Nova and kissed me before pulling away and kissing Novas forehead. Closing my eyes, I held Nova close to me as I fell asleep.

"What happened?" Arlo asked me.

"Shit happened dad." I sighed and sat in between him and Tommy. "Nova and I had that argument I'm sure everyone knows about, she broke. It was like if I didn't hold her, a second later she would have fallen to pieces. So I held her, then Alaric came, then we had sex. A lot of sex. Too much sex. Not that any of you want to know that. Shit happened, and I still don't know how to process it all." I admitted.

"I love that girl so fucking much it hurts. I love Alaric just as much. But every time I look at her all I'm reminded of is that night, and I hurt so much. No matter how much I want to forget about it, to leave it in the past, I can't. I just can't."

My confession made everyone silent. Even my dad, both of them and they both always had advice to give me. But this time. This time they were speechless. No one said a word but I know what they were thinking. They were thinking how disappointed they are in Nova. Never did they think she would say something like that, especially to me. Nova and I have been inseparable since day one, so no one ever thought she'd say that to me.

"Don't be disappointed in her. She was stressed." I sighed.

"Don't say that." Eli growled. "Don't make excuses for her because what she did was wrong. So don't make excuses for her. I know she's hurting but she's old enough to know no means no and should not have taken that out on you."

"Eli-," I started.

"No he's right." Ryan cut me off. "Nova may not understand much but what she did is inexcusable. Eli is right, don't make excuses for her."

"You do what you think is best for you. Not anyone else, you." Arlo told me.

"You either forgive Nova and move on, or you carry on hurting while hurting her as well." Tommy stated. "I know it's not easy to forgive and forget, trust me we've all said and done stuff to our loved ones that we regret. But what you have to remember is that you also said things to Nova that hurt her. You can't just blame her because things were said on both sides."

"I know. I know." I sighed. "I regret what I said to her, I hate what she said to me. I just don't know what to do."

"You'll know what to do when the time is right baby boy." Arlo smiled softly at me. "You always do."
