After sitting in the living room for a while to calm myself, i finally got up to tidy the mess I created. My hands were still shaking from the anger i still felt, yet i did feel calmer. With a bin bag in hand, i started putting glass in it ready to throw it away. Almost everything in the room was broken and would have to be replaced for when Alaric, Nova and I move in when we're ready to have our own space.

Midway through tidying, the front door opened revealing the scent of my fathers. Both walked in with shocked faces at the mess i had made. "What happened in here?" Arlo gasped.

"I had a temper tantrum like a fucking child getting told no. I wrecked the place." I sighed.

"What made you angry?" He sat next to me on the floor with Tommy kneeling down as well.

"Kobe." I muttered. "He and Jax heard me and Alaric pleassuring Nova this morning and told us to stay away from her. Dad I'm sick and tired of him telling me to stay away from her, to stop." I sighed shaking my head. "Am i taking advantage of Nova?"

"No!" Arlo growled. "Why would you say something like that?"

"Because everyone else does. Dad i can't even hold her hand without Kobe and Jax telling me that I'm bad for her or taking advantage of her. I'm so done with it." I vented.

"Don't listen to them Karter. They don't know what they're talking about. You know whats best for Nova better than anyone, she relies on you for everything, Alaric may be there as well, but she only trusts you fully. Kobe and Jax are just jealous because their only sister loves you more than them." Tommy stated.

"What if i am though? She doesn't understand like we do. Nova isn't like us. What if-," I started.

"Don't say anymore Karter. Nova has a voice and will say no if she doesn't want it. Trust me, that girl may not understand but she does know how to say no and you know when to stop." Arlo cut me off.

"I hurt her dad." I cried.

"So you shouted at her again, Karter all couples do." He shrugged.

"No dad. I-I choked her and went to punch her." I sobbed. Their faces fell making me cry even more. "I didn't mean to I promise. Kobe made me really angry calling Nova a slut and a whore. He said that I take advantage of her. So I choked him and punched him. Nova, she touched me and I thought it was Jax or Ryan or Eli but it wasn't. I hurt her and I fucking hate myself for it. I just keep hurting her and I'm starting to think that she's better off without me. I should just leave so she doesn't have to deal with me stupidness anymore."

"You are an idiot sometimes." Arlo sighed and hugged me. My head buried into his chest while we both sat down on the floor. "These things happen, mistakes are made. That doesn't mean you leave, Nova needs you, more than anything and I know for a fact leaving her will hurt her more than you hitting or shouting at her. Nova doesn't just want you around Karter, she needs you."

"What if she never forgives me or doesn't want to see me?" I frowned.

"You know it will only last so long. Like I said, she needs you. When am I ever wrong?" He smiled softly.

"Exactly, he's never wrong." Tommy chuckled joining the hug. "Now lets get this place clean before you go back to her."

After a couple more hours, it was dinner time so Arlo made dinner while me and Tommy sat at the table. We spoke about Nova and Alaric, what is was like having both male and female lovers. To be honest, I've never really thought about it. Both of them make me rock hard and love me, but Nova will always come first. I know that sounds bad but it's the same with Alaric, if it came down to choosing me or Nova, he'd choose Nova. It's like a silent agreement, if any of us are in danger, one of us take Nova to safety. And me being me wanting my mates to be safe, I would sent Alaric with Nova in a heartbeat.

After we ate, we all said goodbye and I went back to the beta house. Once I got there, I took a deep breath and entered the house. Like always, Ryan and Eli were cuddled up on the sofa, it was late so the younger boys were in bed, but Kobe and Jax were sat there glaring at me.

"Hi." I whispered. "Look Kobe, I'm so-,' I went to apologise only to get growled at by Ryan and Eli.

"Do not finish that sentence." Ryan spat out.

"But I hit him." I stated now feeling guilty because I made everyone mad.

"Yeah, you don't get to come here and say you're sorry and think everything will be sunshine and rainbows." Kobe glared at me.

"Kobe, shut up." Eli shouted. "You had it coming. Karter do not apologise because he knows he was in the wrong, he needs to stop aggravating you. One day that big mouth will get him beat worse than what you did to him. Ignore that little fucker and go see Nova. She hasn't stopped crying since you left."

I nodded looking down with my tail between my legs, never have I seen Ryan and Eli so angry at one of their children before. So like I was told to do, I went up to my doll's room ready for anything she gives me. When I went in, Nova and Alaric were laid on the bed. Nova still in my shirt cuddled up to the vampire we love so much. Alaric gave me a soft smile making me give one in return, but it fell when i heard Nova cry.

"Baby doll." I called out closing the door behind me. She looked up, her hair knotted with her eyes red and sore from crying. She got up from the bed and walked over to me, Alaric sat on the edge watching us.

Before I could say anything, Nova pulled her hand back. Her palm connecting to my face making the slap echo in her room. My head snapped to the side from the strike making Nova cry even more. "You left me." She whispered.

"I know, and I'm so, so sorry doll. I promised myself I'd never hurt you after I shouted at you. I broke that and I got really angry with myself. Nova I really hurt you." I looked down at her neck to see a dark purple bruise a prominent outline of my hand. "Nova I fucking bruised you. It's not fair that you have to go through that just because your brothers make me angry. It's not fair."

"But I just want you. No papa, no dada no 'laric. Just Karter." She sobbed and cuddled me. I cried with her, my cheek throbbing from the powerful smack I was given. Nova looked up at me then to my neck. A giggle sounded through the room making me and Alaric smile.

"What are you laughing at doll?" I smiled down at her, brushing her hair from her face.

"I bit Karter." She laughed again and moved herself to straddle me. Only she didn't cuddle me like i thought she would, she leaned into my neck and bit me again. I tensed and relaxed liking the feeling of her teeth on my skin. My jeans became tight and tented letting those around me know i was aroused by my baby doll.

"I really am sorry baby doll." I pulled her away from my neck.

"Is okay Karter. But i bite you again if you mean." She laughed.

"I can handle that." I smiled at her.
