Nova and I shifted into our wolves while Alaric stood to the side. My mates beautiful form came out with her fur shining in the sunlight. I ran my body down hers and Alaric's legs before taking off. I ran slow so Nova could keep up and Alaric wouldn't get lost.

"Karter we take 'Laric to get ice cream?" Nova asked through our mind link.

"Of course doll. We just have to get back and tell Theo why he's with us and introduce him to the family." I told her getting a small 'okay' in reply.

All to soon, we got to the pack border. The wolves on patrol stopped up and eyed up Alaric. I shifted back ready to talk with my fellow pack members.

"We need to see my brother." I told him.

"A vampire cannot be on pack lands. He'll be killed when entered and if he gets past us, others will attempt and because of large numbers, they'll probably succeed." The warrior stated.

"No one touches my mate." Nova growled from behind Alaric. Her small body being covered to protect her from being seen, but her face shown showing her anger.

"This vampire is our mate. We need to see alpha Theo immediately." I said with a small growl.

"Go on. I'll be sure to notify the alpha of your visit. Beta Ryan will also attend incase of an emergency." He stated letting us pass. Nova and I were given clothes to put on so we didn't have to walk around naked. Not that I minded, but I don't want people to see what's mine and Alaric's.

I kept Alaric and Nova close to me so if anyone tried anything, I could protect them, especially Alaric because I know wolves aren't exactly friendly with vampires. Tommy is the only one because he came with my dad, Theo and Cara. Soon enough, we got to Theo's office in the main pack house. Along the way getting looks from pack members.

I could feel Alaric getting uncomfortable so I say Nova on my hip and pulled Alaric to my side wrapping my arm around his waist. Nova held his hand so we were all connected and content feeling each other. Upon Theo's office, I knocked the door leaving my mates waist and returning it after knocking.

"Come in." Came my brothers voice. When we got in, Theo looked at us leaning back on his chair. Mika had a smirk on her face as she sat on her fathers desk with Miya by her side and Ryan the other side.

"We've been told you need to see us immediately." Theo raised a brow at me.

"Yes." I nodded kicking the door shut behind me.

"Dada." Nova smiled and made grabby hands to him. Ryan smiled and took her sitting her on his hip while brushing her hair behind her ear.

"Hello princess." Ryan kissed her cheek before sitting her on Theo's desk next to Mika.

"So what's another vampire doing on my land. The only one welcome is my father." Theo leaned forward resting his arms on the desk.

A growl sounded making everyone look at Nova who had an angry look. "'Laric stay here. He welcome like Toto." She glared at her uncle.

"Is that so?" Theo and Ryan smirked. Mika and Miya laughing at the side because of Nova. Even when trying to be mad she still looks adorable with a pout and furrowed eyebrows.

"Yes. 'Laric stay with me and Karter. No 'laric go. He stay with me." She spat out, adamant that Alaric stays with us.

"Well then." Theo smiled. "Welcome to the pack Alaric. I will notify all pack members and hold a meeting where you'll become a pack member. Any objections?"

"No. Thank you." Alaric gave a curt nod getting one in return.

"'Laric stay with me Mika. 'Laric stay." Nova squealed shaking Mika by her arm.

"Yes Nova. Are you excited?" Mika laughed.

"Yep." My little mate nodded jumping off the desk and throwing herself at me and Alaric. We both chuckled as she cuddled up to us as we both held her up. Over Novas shoulder I gave Alaric a smile getting one in return before he closed his eyes snuggling into Novas neck.

"Where will he be staying?" Mika asked.

"At my house with me. It's far enough from other wolves but close enough to get to Nova." I told her.

"Okay. But Novas old enough to live with you. Surely she could move in so both you and Alaric doesn't feel the hurt of not having your mate with you. I know I needed Miya with me as soon as I found her." Mika pulled her mate towards her making Miya blush.

"Nova stays at home. She can have days out and a night here and there. I need to know she's safe." Ryan stated.

"Ryan, she's not a baby anymore. She needs her mates not her dad." Theo frowned.

"I stay with Karter and 'Laric." Nova pouted looking at her dad.

"Darling you know you can't." Ryan sighed.

"I can." She growled.

"Me and Mika can move in as well." Miya spoke up. "The house is big enough, or the three move into the alpha house. That way we can all protect each other."

"That's a great idea." Theo exclaimed while Ryan shouted a hard, "No."

"Why not?" Theo argued.

"Because my daughter is safer at home with her brothers and fathers." Ryan growled.

"But in the alpha house she has the girls to help if she needs it. Eighteen years Ryan, nova has been in a house full of testosterone. Don't you think it's time for her to be with the girls?" Theo sighed.

"Ryan I know you don't trust me, but I can protect Nova. Even more so that I have Alaric with me. We'll both protect her same with Mika, Miya and Theo." I said.

"Sir, I love your daughter in the short amount of time I've known her. But I reassure you I will lay down my life if it means Nova gets to be safe." Alaric told him.

"Dada I want to stay with 'Laric and Karter." Nova whispered looking at her.

"Ryan, you know I'd never let another of my family die. Not while I'm breathing. We have a vampire and a hybrid who's stronger than anyone. Novas in safe hands." Theo put his hand on Ryan's shoulder.

"But that's my little girl." He whimpered.

"She is, but not anymore. I learnt the hard way when mika found Miya. I know it's hard, but let her go knowing she's safe than when it's too late." Theo said softly.

"Please dada. I stay with uncle Theo and Mika." Nova begged.

"We have to talk to your papa about this darling." Ryan whispered. "But I'm sure he'll agree."

"Come on Nova, let's go." Mika took her from me and Alaric before leaving with her and Miya in hand.

"Any of you hurt her." Ryan looked at me and Alaric. "I'll personally kill you."

"I'd rather have my heart pulled from my chest than harm Nova in any way. I promise." Alaric said confidently.

"When have I ever hurt Nova on purpose? All I do is want to protect her." I told him. "We'll protect her." I took Alaric's hand in mine.

"Good." He gave a small nod before walking out following the girls.

"Where did you find him? He's a keeper." Theo nudged me as we left as well.

"I'll never tell." I chuckled.
