"I'm here doll. Your safe now." I told her and kissed her head. "Why did you have hold of my mate." I growled with a glare at the man. A vampire at that. Is this even Theo's territory? How is he here without being caught.

"She's my beloved." He stated.

"Not possible. She already has a mate, me." I growled again making Nova whimper.

"Yes, but there are cases of wolves or vampires having more than one. I'm sure, she kept on muttering mate to me, and the sparks I felt only proved that she's mine. I never thought I'd have to share a beloved, but I guess I don't mind." He smirked at me.

This took me by surprise. I mean, if I didn't have Nova I'd definitely hit that. He's got black hair, pale skin but pulled it off with bright green eyes. No ones eyes beat Novas, but his come in second.

"Then why don't I feel a connection with you? I'm sure if Nova has two mates so would we." I sat down with him sitting close where he could hold Nova as well.

"Maybe because she's in heat. Our senses are for her and nothing else. When it simmers or stops maybe we'll get that. I don't know." He shrugged.

Before I could say anything, Nova cried out scratching at my chest and burying her face into my chest. "Come, I have a cabin close by, we can go there." The man stood up.

I nodded and followed him. My raging hard on didn't help as I moved, especially with Novas scent and her kissing my neck. Soon enough, a small log cabin came into view with the smell of him around it.

"This is wolf territory no?" I asked.

"Not that I know of. No ones come around here other than two other vampires a few weeks ago and Nova. I've been on my own for centuries here." He replied.

"What's your name?" I questioned as I followed him into the cabin.

"Alaric. Yours?"

"Karter." I muttered.

"We can lay her on the bed. It's easier for her to feel both of her mates to her. Skin on skin contact it good to ease the heat." Alaric explained.

"You sure know a lot about wolves." I chuckled laying down with my mate.

"Yep. I read about them incase my beloved ended up being a wolf. Incase of heat and all that I wanted to make sure I knew how to help." He told me.

"Why didn't you mate with her when I wasn't there?"

"You sure do ask a lot of questions." Alaric chuckled while getting on the bed laying the other side of Nova. Like me, he was naked with his cock standing tall.

"I could smell your scent so I gathered she was close with someone and they were going to find her soon. And the fact I didn't want my beloved to hate me for fucking her without consent and while she was vulnerable. "I just don't want to be alone anymore and finding her gives me hope I won't be alone." He sighed.

"Okay. But if we have to share her, we have to agree to terms." I stated.

"What terms?"

"We only come here when she wants to. If nova wants you around you'll be there and if she doesn't you won't. She may not know a lot but she can hold herself and make her own decisions." I told him.

"Of course. What about mating? There will be a time she'll want us both."

"She's a virgin, so when the time comes it'll be me. I know her more than she knows herself, I know I won't hurt her." I whispered looking at Nova.

"What if she wants us both?" Alaric asked.

"Then we'll both be there. I don't really know how this works." I admitted.

"We'll figure it out." Alaric reassured me. "One step at a time."
