When we got to school, Karter parked the car then took the keys out. We sat there in silence, it wasn't always like this, but sometimes Karter wanted to sit in the silence. I turned to him with a soft smile, when he saw me he smiled back making me giggle.

"Cuddle." I lifted my arms up. Karter shook his head with a smile then pulled me from my seat on to his lap where I curled up and snuggled into his chest.

"I live for your cuddle baby doll." Karter whispered to me, his hand slowly stroking the hair at the back of my neck. It always made me sleepy when he did that.

"I love your cuddles to." I smiled and hid my face. All of a sudden, the door opened and in came Wyatt and Mika. They were kept back a year in school because they always naughty. But that means they go when me and Karter go so we can stay together.

"Hey." Mika smiled at her and Wyatt both managed to get on the seat.

"Hi." I smiled.

"How are you Nova? Kobe give you any trouble." Wyatt asked.

"Nope. But he say mean things to Karter and make him angry." I frowned with a pout. "But I make it all better with cuddles."

"You're too cute." Mika smiled. "I think cuddles have to make a rain check because class is about to start. Nova you got first period with me so wanna go?"

I nodded and got up. Karter wrapped his arms around me stopping me from getting up. "Karter gotta let go." I giggled and slumped back on to his chest. My chin resting on his torso as I smiled up at him.

"Be good baby doll, alright. After school I'll take you to get ice cream if your good." He said.

"Okay, I'll be bestest girl." I smiled widely.

"Okay, see you soon."

"Bye bear." I waved and he helped me out of the car. Mika came around to my side and linked her arm with mine. Karter and Wyatt stayed in the car, it looked like they were talking about I'm not sure.

"What did Kobe do? Is he being a meanie?" Mika asked me.

I nodded with my eyebrows furrowed. "Yeah, Isaiah got angry 'bout it. But cuddles make it all better."

"Yes, cuddles make everyone happy. You're so good to give Karter cuddles." She smiled crinkling her nose a little.

"I wanna go back cuddle." I sighed with a small whine.

"I know but you can't. We get this over with, then you can cuddle and eat ice cream with Karter all afternoon." Mika said.

"Okay." I nodded and walked into the building with her. We made our way to the classroom and walked in to see the teacher.

"You two, separate." The grumpy wolf said.

"Why? Nova doesn't understand, she needs me to help her." Mika glared at him. She never did like this teacher.

"Someone else can help her. All you two do is talk and it's annoying the others. So separate." He growled.

Mika muttered a swear under her breath as she sat me at one end of the room while she went to the other. I didn't want to be away from Mika, she always helped me when I didn't understand and stop me from panicking. But now I don't have her.

Half way through the lesson, I started getting belly ache. So I did what I always do when I feel icky. I mind linked Karter.

"Bear? I no feel good." I told him.

"Okay baby doll. What class are you in? I'll come and get you." He replied.

"I don't know. I'm in maths though." I answered.

"Alright doll, sit tight I'll be a couple minutes." I nodded even though he could see me and cut the link. Mike looked over to me and mouthed 'you okay' making me shake my head.

She sighed knowing the teacher would send her out if she'd come near me. So I opted for sitting and waiting for Karter to come to the door. Like he said, a couple minutes later his face showed up at the door. I grabbed my bag and stood up.

"What the fuck is that?" A boy behind me laughed. I looked around and on the chair was a spot.

All of a sudden, the whole class looked and started laughing. My heart sank as tears filled my eyes and falling. Frozen in place, I didn't hear the door open and Karter come in until he wrapped something around my waist. His large jacket covered me but people still laughed while Karter and Mika stood next to me.

"She got the chair all bloody, fucking disgusting." The same boy called out making the class laugh even more.

"It's not her fault dipshit. She can't help it." Karter growled at him.

"She got the chair all messy." He gagged in disgust.

"Shut up." Karter growled, although his eyes flickered between his natural colour and Isaiah's. Sometimes a speck of Rogues as well came through.

"Make me."

"I've had enough bullshit with people and Nova. Stop being a prick and help her instead of saying shit like that." My friend growled deeply. "Come on baby doll."

Karter picked me up bridal style and walked me out of the classroom. Mika following knowing I'd need help at home. We got to the car where Karter kept me in his arms while Mika drove to my house.

"It's okay doll. It's normal, all normal." Bear said.

"He say it's disgusting." I sobbed. "I don't want it."

"Doll you have no choice. I know you don't want it but it's normal and a way of your body telling you it's healthy. Don't listen to them, they're just meanies who are immature."

"What's that mean?" I asked.

"Immature?" Karter said making me nod. "It's when someone is childish. They do things that isn't something they should do because it's not like someone they're age would do."

"I immature?" I looked up at him. "I have teddies and blankey."

"No doll, you're different. Don't listen to anyone other than your family because they know what's best for you. Meanies like that are just boys being annoying." Karter stated.

"Okay." I nodded and cuddled to his chest again.

When we got home, papa and dada was sat on the sofa cuddled up together. I like it when they're like that because I get to cuddle to. I don't like it when it's just one of my dads, I like to cuddle both so they don't feel left out.

"What happened? You weren't even at school half a day." Papa said standing up with dada following him.

"Nova came on." Mika said. "Come on Nova, let's go get a bath."

Karter put me down so I could follow Mika. Wanting to stay with Karter, tears brimmed my eyes but I knew I wasn't allowed to stay with him. So I followed anyway. Mika started running the bath adding some bubbles. Lavender are my favourite and papa and dada do it for me as well. But they sit outside the door incase I need help, they say I'm too big but if I need help with anything they'll do it.

The need for Karter to be with me was still strong so I cried. I know I shouldn't but I'm scared to ask.

"Nova what's wrong?" Mika looked at me.

"I want Karter." I whispered.

"Darling you know you can't have Karter when you bath. It'll be five minutes then you can go back to him." She said.

"I want Karter." I raised my voice, adamant to have my friend with me.

"No Nova, you know you can't." She shook her head.

"Karter." I shouted. "I want Karter."

"Nova." Mika said in a warning tone.

"I want Karter." I shouted again.

Mika huffed and left the bathroom, Karter coming in less than a minute after.

"Why you playing up baby doll?" Karter kneeled down to my level.

"I just want you." I sobbed. "But M-Mika say no."

"Doll you know I can't be in here when you bath. I can sit outside the door like papa and dada do for you." He said.

"No, Karter stay with me." I cried out.

"Doll, it's me sitting by the door or nothing. You're a big girl, you need to do it yourself. I shouldn't see your body okay." He sighed.

"But papa say I only show when I want to. I want you to see it so you bath me." I sniffled and took deep breaths to try and calm down.

"I know doll, but with me it's different. I'm your friend. Why don't we get papa or dada yeah."

"No." I sobbed. "Just you."

"Okay." Karter sighed. "Okay, get ready then."

I nodded and started taking everything off while Karter did the bath. He ran the cold so it wasn't too hot nor too cold and stopped a little bit after.

"Ready?" He asked me. I nodded and climbed into the bath letting the bubbles cover my body. "What's going on doll? Why did you want Mika?" He asked while kneeling on the floor, keeping his eyes on mine.

"'Cause I want you. No Mika, only Karter." I told him sniffling.

"Okay." He nodded.
