"Shivi babyyyyyy💖",came a voice breaking her trance.

"Tanu you r coming now🙄!?", complained Shivani.

"I would have denied for the project if it wasn't that important. And you know na Shivu my boss is a crackpot and he makes me work my ass off, he would have kicked me out his company and you want your bff jobless🥺😚", explained Tanu.

"Okay okay you win madam. It's useless to talk to you🤦🏻", Shivani said rolling her eyes and smiling.

"Arre leave that. You are finallyyy getting married. Ahhhhh I m so happy for you girl🥳", Tanu exclaimed while hugging Shivani.

Shivani felt her bff sobbing in her arms.

"Tanu baby what happened why are you crying"

"You don't know Shivu how happy I am for you. I have seen you suffering and trust me you are more than my sister to me. What I have been without you🥺❤️"

Tanu's sweet words made Shivani emotional and she hugged her tighter🤗

"Now stop it you gadhi. Mera makeup kharab ho jaayega. So no more emotional talks. And what is this🤨!?"

"What🤨?"

"It took me 2 hours to get ready. I wore this heavy jewellery and extra heavy lengha , beared those irritating hair-stylists and makeup-artists and No Compliments☹️"

"Arre aise kaise. You are looking superrr gorgeous baby. I can't describe in words yaar. It's like JANNAT SE UTRI JAISI KOI PARI HAI TU💖💋"

"Oh thank you thank you I am flattered already😎🙈"

"Abhi se. Abhi toh Jiju ka compliment baaki hai Madam ji😏😌"

With these words of Tanu, the smile on Shivani's face faded away. Exhaling a sigh she went near window gazing the stars.

"What happened Shivani? Is everything alright"

"How everything can be alright in my life Tanushka"

"But what's the matter"

"I am getting married to Abhimanyu"

"Whattttt😳!!!! Abhimanyu means Abhimanyu Malhotra. The same ---"

"Yes the same", interrupted Shivani.

"But how .... I mean that's..."

Tanushka left after giving Shivani a quick comforting hug while Shivani agained drowned in the pool of thoughts thinking about the day she was informed about the marriage proposal.

Shivani' POV

I just came back to my home. The most peaceful place for me in this world. I got a call from my mother to meet her up. Why she wants to meet me🧐!?

Chucking my thought I reached her house.

Umm yes her house my parents are divorced. We all three live in our own houses separately. I rang the bell and there she was standing with a smile. I hugged her and she welcomed me. My father was present there too.

"Responsibility huh!? I am a bloody responsibility to you!? Let me tell you I have never ever relied on you people for any expenses or help. I sorted it out Myself always. Kabhi aap logo ko kisi cheez ke liye pareshaan nhi kara then how the hell I am your responsibility. I am loving my life SEPERATELY so please mujhe mere haal par chod dijiye🙏."

"Shivani relax we know what are you feeling we can understand--"

"Please beta try to understand. It's for your well being. Please Shivani it's the last thing we are asking you"

I was in no mood to argue more especially with them on this topic. They are my parents and I can do this for them. They are right I need to marry someday but .... I don't know🤷. Leave it Shivani, U are strong girl and you are doing this for their happiness.

"Sorry di actually Bua ji (Father's sister) said to bring you downstairs. Jiju arrived"

"Hmm. Wait a minute, let Tanu come"

"I am here Shivu. Let's go"

"Ohh my my Tanushka Sharma. You are looking hot huh😘!!!!"

Tia and Tanu brought Shivani down where her brothers were ready with Phoolon ki Chadar (Flower roof) for her entry.

[This is especially poignant when the brothers carry a phoolon ki chadar (blanket of flowers) over the bride as she walks in]

Without any further arguments Shivani stepped ahead under the beautiful flower blanket.

A light music in the background was a cherry on cake for a perfect bride entry.

Managing her Extra heavy lengha she tried to climb the stairs.

While she was looking down carefully stepping over, she felt someone's hand. Lifting her eyes she met 'His' hazel brown eyes. The eyes that are dominating and manipulating she knew very well.

Abhimanyu's POV

I was standing on the stage waiting for 😏.

"Why are you standing here!?",my mom whispered to me.

"Then!? Oh should I stand on this royal chair!?"

"Shut up Abhi!!! Go help your bride with her lengha. By the way she looking so beautiful🥰. Nazar na lage meri Nuh (Daughter-in-law) nu🧿"

So I went near the stairs to help who was struggling with her 100 kgs lengha🙄.

Who told her to wear so much heavy one😒, she could have selected something simpler.

Who cares🙃

I forwarded my hand to help when she lifted her gaze and her Light brown eyes met mine.
