Chapter 96: Death Is the Beginning of a New Life

Chi Jiao continued to watch.

Jin Yiming raised his hand and gently touched Bai Weiyu's eyes as if he was caressing a lover.

Bai Yuwei was forced to close her eyes and her body trembled violently due to extreme fear.

"Weiyu, you know that I like your eyes the most." Jin Yimings tone sounded like a soft sigh. "It's a pity that you're sick now. I need to treat your illness."

Bai Weiyu's tears flowed down. Then, Jin Yiming took out a scalpel from his white coat.

"The process might hurt a little. I'll help you chase the bugs in your body away. Don't be afraid," Jin Yiming said softly. However, the scalpel sliced across Bai Weiyu's body repeatedly.

Although his actions weren't fierce, the sharp scalpel could still slice open the skin and flesh of the body, leaving a bloody wound.

Bai Weiyus screams echoed throughout the basement.

"Stop screaming. Be good." Jin Yiming's voice was still very gentle. "Look at my eyes. You'll forget about the pain this way."

Bai Weiyu was in so much pain that she almost lost her mind. However, she was still bewitched by his gentle voice as she looked into his eyes.

His deep and gentle gaze was filled with a strange and enchanting light. It was like a soul trapper that could easily captivate her soul.

Bai Weiyu instantly fell silent as she looked at Jin Yiming in a daze.

"Do you love me?" Jin Yiming asked.

Bai Weiyu's pale face revealed a peaceful smile as she nodded.

"Since you love me, prove it to me." Jin Yiming and Bai Weiyu looked at each other. His deep and gentle voice seemed like a spell lingering in her ears. "Head to the school's rooftop tomorrow morning and jump down from there to prove your love to me. Weiwei, I'll wait for the day you are reborn. Then, I will be with you forever."

Madness shone in Bai Weiyu's eyes as she nodded impatiently.

Later on, Chi Jiao saw Bai Weiyu standing on the rooftop of the school building. Just like that senior, she jumped down from the rooftop.

Like a butterfly that had lost its wings, Bai Weiyu fell heavily to the ground as her body shattered.

Chi Jiao looked at Bai Weiyu sharply.

Bai Weiyu didn't notice her gaze. She calmly took out her phone and saw that the caller ID was Teacher Jin. She smiled apologetically at Chi Jiao and said, "I'm going to answer a call."

With that said, Bai Weiyu got up and walked towards the French window.

"It was Teacher Jin who called Weiyu earlier. I saw it," Yi Lanlan whispered with a gossipy smile.

Dang Nan frowned. "Weiyu and Teacher Jin sure are getting closer."

She and Bai Weiyu were neighbors and had grown up together. She knew Bai Weiyu's character too well. She was a little weak and lacked a backbone.

Someone as innocent and weak as Bai Weiyu could be easily deceived.

Chi Jiao didn't speak. Instead, she looked at Bai Weiyu standing in front of the French window as she spoke on the phone.

It was unknown what Jin Yiming had said to her, but the smile on her face was as brilliant as the winter sun.

After saying a few words, Bai Weiyu quickly hung up the phone. She walked over and looked at Chi Jiao apologetically. "Sorry, Jiaojiao. I have something urgent to attend to, so I'll be leaving first."
