Chapter 79: Quan Jue, You're a Bastard

Quan Jue sat opposite Chi Jiao and looked straight at her with his dark eyes.

Chi Jiao curiously examined her surroundings. She felt that this room was indeed decorated warmly. Quan Jue living here was probably not inferior to the Chi family.

Chi Jiao blinked. She didn't expect Quan Jue to be so easygoing.

Was it because he had said such hurtful words to her not long ago and he was feeling guilty?

"Then, can I come as a guest regularly in the future?" Chi Jiao asked softly.

"Up to you," Quan Jue replied indifferently.

Sensing that his attitude had improved, Chi Jiao's tone became more relaxed. "Brother Quan, what's wrong with your leg? Can you let me see it?"

Quan Jue recalled the location of his injury and shook his head without hesitation. "It's just a small injury. I've already treated it. It's alright."

Seeing how nonchalant he was, Chi Jiao still harbored some doubts. However, she didn't say anything in return.

"Go take a shower first. There's a clean towel in the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom. There's also a new mouthwash cup and a toothbrush." Quan Jue said, "It's getting late. Go to bed after showering."

Chi Jiao also wanted to take a hot shower. She had really been freezing downstairs earlier.
