"Vegas. You just have to wait for me here." Pete explained in exhaustion.

Vegas frowned as he controls his temper.

Pete may be go there alone but at least he will inform Vegas first. He knew that if he keep secrets then it is not just Khun Pim that he will have problems with.

"Do you even know that Tan?"

"That's why I'm meeting him. To know what he wants." Pete argued.

From the very start, when Tan appeared during the sudden attack of Khun Pim and her men, it was a bit surprising to see a new face.

He's in his early twenties, his face is as cold as a stone or something that cannot be read. The way he say things that even Khun Pim didn't bother to question.

Who is this person who had control over Khun Pim?

"Bring Nop with you." Vegas stare at him. "That's the end of discussion."

"He said to meet him at the nearest café." Pete said and went into him. He kissed Vegas'cheeks and smiled. "If I didn't return before four then find me."

"Why? Don't you have any plans in returning?"

Pete scoffed and proceed to kiss Venice's cheeks that is still in Vegas embrace.

"I will come back. I promise."

Pete didn't bother to wait for Nop and proceed to the café Tan has talked about. The place is just near, and walking distance that if ever he will disappear then it's just easy to locate him.

When Pete arrived, he immediately spotted Tan. He's wearing a casual clothes, hoodie jacket and pants. He looks like an ordinary man in his twenties.

Tan then saw him, raised his hand and smiled slightly.

Pete didn't let his guards down. He roam his eyes around the café, checking if there are suspecious people looking at them. He proceeds to see if Tan is holding something but he only have his phone and wallet on the table.

"Khun Tan, right?" Pete initiated the conversation.

"Yes." Tan smiled at him that made Pete squint his eyes.

So he knows how to smile.

"What do you need?" Pete asked as he secretly pressed the recording button on his phone.

He felt relief that he can still feel his gun on his waist.

"I didn't expect that you will really come alone." Tan said with a sly smile and drank the coffee that was on the table. "I thought your husband will follow you."

"Please say your intention Khun Tan." Pete said politely.

His curiosity is also killing him. Who is he to meddle with somebody else's business?

Why do they always like to butt in?

Khun Tan was about to say something when someone appear behind him.

"Khun No..." Pete said with his eyes widened.

Arm and Pol are also behind Khun Tan, subtlety pointing a gun at the back of his head.

With his impulsive thoughts winning, Khun loudly smack Khun Tan's head that made Pete stand up in shock.

"Khun No. Why are you here?" Pete whispered and looked at Arm and Pol.

"Follow us Khun Tan." Arm said calmly and twisted the gun to bury deeper on Khun Tan's head.

Tan on the other hand just nodded. Without making a scene, he stand up and followed the rest.

Still wondering, Pete also followed them.

Why are they even here?

The four of them went to the car that is already parked outside the café. Pol is in the driver seat and beside him was Arm.

Khun, Pete and Khun Tan are all at the back seat. Khun makes sure that Tan will sit in between of them.

"Khun No. How did you know?" Pete asked and managed to look at Tan who seems not to be bothered that he is literally being kidnapped.

"He is the person who keeps following you, Pete." Arm said as he places his gun on his lap.

"That's right!" Khun said and slap Tan's shoulder as if they were close friends. "I thought you have a crush on him since you're kinda handsome. I'm disappointed that you're in the same team as that witch."

Pete heard Tan giggle with what he heard. Khun's face reddened.

"What's funny?"

Tan shakes his head. "I don't really have plan on stalking him."

Why are they talking casually?

"You want to get Venice, right?" Khun interrogated and went nearer to Tan that their faces almost touched.

"Khun No, stop looking at him like that." Pete said and separate the two.

"No." Tan said and diverted his gaze in front. "What will I get if I abduct that kid?"

"Then? You have a crush on Pete?"

Pete raised his head as he feels it hurting with those kind of questions. He cannot even imagine that someone bothers to have a crush on him.

"No. I'm just looking after my brother."

"Brother?!" They all asked.

Pol steps on the break that Arm almost hit his face on the window. Pete shouted in shock that his tonsils almost explode and to Khun, he almost snap his neck.

"Brother? What the fuck? Brother?!" Khun asked in surprised. "Pete is your brother?!"

Both Arm and Pol turns and look at Tan. Even though the four of them almost have a heart attack on what he just said, Tan managed to not express any emotion.

"What the fuck did you just say?! Pete!" Khun pointed at him. "Pete! Do you even know that he's your brother?

Still in shock, Pete shakes his head and raise his hands telling him that he doesn't know.

"No. I'm an only child."

It's impossible that he will have a younger brother at this point. Besides, Tan seems to be in the same age as him.

"Huh?" Tan asked. "What the hell?"

Khun No push Tan away like a friend. Tan was about to hit his face on the front seat.

"You're Pete's brother?"

"No!" Tan protested. "I am not."

"Then who's your brother?"

"That kid Venice." Tan answered. "I'm his brother."

With what they heard, Pete cannot even utter a word. The sudden revelation made them speechless.

"You're... you're..."

"I'm Tan. Pim's eldest son."

When did she even have a son? After all this time, Khun Pim already have a son even before she met Khun Kan and before she had Venice.

"You kinda look handsome." Khun commented. "Your mother is low-key ugly."

Is that even a compliment or an insult?

"I am not a threat." Tan assured them and comfortably fixed his sitting position. "I just want to see my brother and that's it."

"Why didn't you say?" Pete asked.

He isn't even selfish at all. If Tan is indeed the old brother of Venice then he can also have the right to see Venice.

Unlike Khun Pim, Tan doesn't give off a dangerous vibe.

"I came back from New Zealand after I heard that my mother gave birth." Tan started. "I found her after leaving the baby so I had no choice but to stalk him and you..."

"Me?" Pete pointed himself.

"Thanks for taking care of my brother. I don't have any intention to have him. We only share the same mother and I saw how you take care of him."

Pete pouted, his eyes were sparkling with tears.

"Why the fuck are you crying?" Khun asked Pete.

"But let me warn you..." Tan said seriously. "My mother gone crazy when she found out that Venice received inheritance and she didn't."

So she's after the inheritance Venice received even before he was born. Khun Kan probably didn't give her a share and it's only Venice whom he prioritized.

"I don't tolerate the craziness of my mother." Tan said.

"Hey! Why don't you give some braincells to your mother?" Khun spoke.

"She will not stop until she got Venice. It's all about the inheritance. Take care of my brother."

Tan patted Pete's shoulder but Khun immediately removed it.

"That's what I wanted to say."

When Tan finished what he is about to say, Pete's phone rang.

"Vegas..." He called his name.

"Pete. Where are you?"

"I'm with Khun No." He answered.

"Venice..."

When he heard the name of Venice, anxiety rose in his heart.

"What about Venice?"

"Venice... is missing."
