《The Players BestFriend》Chapter 5

"I'm tired of this!" I screamed while storming off to the bathroom.

Every corner I turn, people are pointing and whispering things about me. They think I don't notice, but I'm not stupid.

"Ouch! Watch where you're going!" I exclaimed as I looked up to see who ran into me.

I came face to face with the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. They were a very enticing green. Before he could speak, the person standing next to him let out a small cough. When I turned my head to see who it was, I saw the guy I've been trying to avoid since I walked through the school doors. All color drained from my face and I couldn't move or speak. I was completely frozen.

"Ouch! Watch where you're going!" I heard a girl shriek as I ran into her.

This girl is breath taking. We were staring into each others eyes until Austen coughed. I turned and looked at him with an "are you serious" look. When I turned back around to apologize, she looked as if she just saw a ghost.

"Hey," I said while waving my hand in front of her face. "Are you okay?"

"Um.... Yeah. I gotta go." She quickly ran off, leaving me feeling confused and intrigued.

"Dude! Seriously? I didn't even get a chance to apologize!" I exclaimed with a disgusted look on my face.

"Why do you care? She's just a slut anyways."

"How would you know?"

"Let's just say, I've been there done that." Austen smirked.

I shook my head, a little annoyed with him. "Of course. Who haven't you been with?"

"If she's got boobs and a pretty face, I've been with her."

"Whatever dude." I laughed. "See you in class."

I've been in the bathroom for ten minutes, just looking at my reflection in the mirror. I can't believe I let Austen get to me like this again.

I was surprised when I walked out of the bathroom. The pretty eyed boy was leaning against the lockers, staring into space. As I walked past him, I felt a hard grip on my wrist.

"Ow! Let go of me!" I winced, tugging my hand out of his grasp.

"I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I didn't mean to run into you. Oh by the way, I'm Ezra." He reached his hand out for me to shake, but I just ignored it.

"Well Ezra, I don't need your apology. Just leave me alone. I need to get to class." I rolled my eyes, walking back to class.

What's wrong with him? First he runs into me, then he leaves a bruise on my wrist? Well, he's friends with Austen. Of course he's gonna be a jerk.

When I walked into class, everyone stared at me. They can probably tell I've been crying but I don't really care. I'm tired of being judged by everyone.

"Y'all can stop staring now. Mind your own business!" Brooklyn exclaimed, annoyance evident in her voice.

Man, I love that girl.

"Thanks Brooklyn." I whispered to her as I sat down.

"No problem. Are you okay?"

"Not really. I'll tell you at lunch."

Lunch needs to hurry up and get here. Even though I know everyone's gonna talk about me, I need to get this off of my chest. I know Brooklyn can help me. She's always known what to say when I need her.
