Kit: Here's the BrightWin that some people came here for :P
Finally, I know.
It's officially the end of this book, 32 chapters, a year of updates, and we're here at the end. I want to sincerely thank everyone who chanced upon this book and decided to give it try. Thank you to all those who read the new chapters the moment I release it, those who vote on the chapters you liked, those who commented your reactions to the characters' actions and thoughts, maybe even my little notes.
Also those who liked the book and went on to check out my stories. Thank you, really.
This is not the end of the series, I've got 2-3 more books planned for this series. In fact, I've already finished writing the next one, waiting to release it when I feel like it. If you want to guess which couple it is, I'll give a hint that the ship is part of the Holy Trinity.
That's all for this last Author's Note of SC, thank you again for reading till the end and I hope you enjoy this last update.
See you in the next book! 💜

The twenty-two year old bounced over from the kitchen to his partner who was fiddling with his camera in the living room, "P'Bright~"
Bright hummed back in a soft tone, "Hm?"
He laid down and put his head down on Bright's lap, obstructing the other's movement to bend forward and reach his equipment, "Do you want to come over to my house?"
Bright stared at his cheeky bunny's smile before answering with a gentle smile, "Sure, why not."
And with that, the bunny had told his parents that night that he was bringing his boyfriend home in a few days. Which elicited a few responses that went roughly like this:

"Honey, where did you keep the knives?"
"In the attic, do you want me to get someone to clean them?"
"Oh no, that's fine. I was just curious that's all. Did you say something, Son?"
He did not reply, he knew his parents had heard him. If not, why the hell would they act this way?
----
Bright may have seemed very calm when he said he would see his bunny's parents for the first time (as their child's boyfriend) but he knew just how nervous he was. Win had said many times that they were very nice people and although Win did not know, he had seen them before when he was young.
His parents would visit the Ruangroj family once in a while, at that time Win was just a small little baby that had to be carried around. He still remembered the first day he saw the little bundle, he was so small and cute.
Two years old Bright could walk around a little already, when the little boy was brought nearer to the house that was not his, he felt something calling him over. He did not know what it was, as a little child, he only knew he had to satisfy this yearning.
"Bright, greet your uncles."
"Wadee krub." He clumsily greeted with his small hands as he stared past the tall uncles.
"Sawasdee, Nong Bright."
He looked over to the baby in Uncle Krist's arms. "Baby?"
"Yes, this is Nong Win. Do you want to come closer and look at him?"
His cute face shook up and down, nodding eagerly.
The next time they met, more than a decade later, was when he saw Win again in a company event. That 'something' that was pulling at him again just like it did the last time, but he knew what it was now. His inner self was howling at him to take Win away from the venue.

Mate.
My mate.
Take him home.
And so he went over. "Nong Win."
"P'Bright, are you listening?"
"Huh? Sorry, I was thinking about when I first saw you."
"Ah? When was that, the company event?"
"No, when I was two."
"..." Win went silent for a moment before putting a bewildered expression, "Eh? Wasn't I just born then?"
"Yes, you were very small~ And cute!"
"Then we'll go see my baby pictures later!"
----
He stood outside the familiar door as they waited for the housekeeper to open the door. He knew Uncle Singto and Uncle Krist were people who looked nice but were slightly overprotective of their children, especially their omega children. He just did not know what he should expect...
A gun, knife or poison?
Ex-lover who suddenly appears and threatens to steal him away or kill him? Test of faith?
You're watching too much drama shows, Bright.
"Sawasdee krub, Uncle Singto."
Singto was pleasantly surprised when the little boy who visited him all those years back and refused to leave his youngest child would be here.
As his youngest child's boyfriend.
His eyes narrowed as he zoomed in on this young man. "You have been aiming for my baby boy since you were two."
Bright jolted at his menacing stare, he hurried to defend himself. "No, no! Absolutely not! Really!"
He then proceeded to put three fingers up, "I swear."
Singto did not give in, he leaned forward to add a factor of intimidation. "Your first words towards Win was quite obviously 'Baby', how is that not you having your eyes on my son."
"What do you mean, aiming for my baby boy since who was two?"
Oh no.
"U-uncle Krist! Sawasdee krub!" He gave the elder the best waii he ever gave anyone in his entire life.
"Oh~ So you're that boyfriend of Win's... That's fine. After all, we're family friends!"
Oh, how deceiving that sweet and assuring smile was...
"By the way... did you two do anything yet?" Although Krist sounded calm and nonchalant, he was definitely internally planning Bright's suffering if he said that they had done something.
Bright firmly replied with all seriousness he could muster, "No." Maybe a few kisses here and there but he was not going to dig his own grave this early on when he hadn't even marked his mate and married him.
At the back of the trio, Win was staring incredulously with a pout at his parents. This was unfair, why were they so accepting of P'Tee and treated his lover as if he was a threat?! Even with P'Oaujun and P'Kimmon, they were not so scary!
He was going to complain to his brothers later!

A Nation of Distances (possibly a dystopian love story)
Michael lives in a toxic macho world with extreme male hierarchy. When he gets a weird rating that makes his place even more problematic he's forced to choose a fiancée at a Wife School, and he slowly discovers more about the other side of the great divide between the sexes in The Nation. If only the world would stop being so complicated... On the other side there's Megan, who's more interested in books than in marriage, and the unpredictable Eliza who seems to have a connection with Micheal already. Will they be able to cross the distance and become friends against all the rules of their own world, or will they just be crushed? Are positive relationships between men and women even possible? And is there a way to change the world or is that just a naive thought of a silly wimp? 'A Nation of Distances' is a slightly dystopian dialogue-heavy drama set in a low sci-fi future setting about the war between the sexes, disconnect and friendship. The genre will fluctuate in between more slice-of-life parts and soft sci-fi drama with possible romantic elements, with alternating lead and switching perspectives once more of the main characters are established. Content Warning: Certain concepts and scenes might be disturbing and/or triggering to some, even though the story itself won't be extremely heavy most of the time. Sexism as a double-edged sword destructive to both sexes is an important part of the story, but so is friendship.Note that all descriptions of persons and places are purely fictional and made up by the writer, and any resemblance with anything in the real world is a coincidence, since the real world is not supposed to be dystopian anyway!

Smoking Bandits
With a gaze that was hard to describe, Lark stared at his body in the mirror. Not his body as a human, but his other body. Head of a reptile with rows of sharp teeth, a 180 cm tall body that is full of muscles, covered in scales formed green and black tiger stripes. Clawed hands and feet, with a tail strong enough to crush an adult neck. 'Man. . . can I still be called a human?' In the end, with a deep sigh Lark changed his form back into a human. A moment later, he came out of the room wearing a combat dress, tactical belt with shoulder strap, and jungle boots. While inserting a magazine into an AK-102, Lark muttered. 'Whatever, time to hunt Orcs.' *****
