《Scentless Curiosity [KristSingto Fanfic]》25: Wedding Bells

Kit: One day late, sorry about that. Was working on a project yesterday, if it weren't for the calendar reminder, I would have forgotten to do this today too. My brain is having trouble switching back to school mode...
------
Their wedding.
It was drawing near and Krist could not hold his excitement in any longer.
Their wedding was planned by Singto's father, since it was a big thing that the SUN Corporation's CEO was getting married. Por said to let him handle it since he was free and they could continue going to work, plus with him getting busy with finding a place to work at after his graduation had ended last month in February.
Por had informed them a few weeks back that the wedding would happen on the 26th of March, which was exactly two weeks from now.
Can you believe that he was getting married at the age of 23?
No?
Yeah, neither could he. Because years ago, he fully expected himself to still be single by the time he finished university and worked until the age of somewhere near thirty, then he will find someone to marry. Or to just stay single forever.
But now he looks at the outfit he would wear on the day itself sitting snugly on his body, he does not know what to feel anymore, he was feeling too many things at the moment.
Two weeks later
"Oh my God, Mae! I can't anymore, what if I mess this up?!"
"Son, calm down na... Take deep breathes, breathe in... that's right. Now breathe out... Feeling better?"
"Phew... krub Mae, thank you na. I don't know what I'll do if you weren't here."
Krist gave a warm, tight hug to his Mae, he was glad that he had an amazing mother like her. He would not know what would happen if he did not have her in his life. "I love you na, Mae..." She returned the embrace, bringing her hand up to rub his back soothingly. "You'll do great out there, my son. I just know it. Singto would stare at you and you only, no one else."

"Awwww Mae!"
*Knock knock*
"Excuse me, the ceremony is about to begin."
His Mae patted his hand gently, "You can do this, go for it. I'll be watching from the front row."
"Okay!"
----
Singto watched as his precious person stepped through the doors, looking absolutely angelic in his white tuxedo with a small flower tucked in the chest pocket. His hair was gelled and comb into a stylist fashion, makeup natural looking, his smile gentle and soft.
As Krist made his way to him on the altar, his gaze never left the omega. His soon-to-be wife. The bearer of his future children. He could only stare at him, eyes overflowing with genuine love and affection, all throughout the ceremony.
During the vows, he made Krist blush a little as he mentioned his sleep clinging. It made the attendees smile and giggle at the pout Krist had on his face.
No matter how he looked, what expression he had on his face, Singto would always look at him and only him.
When they went in for the kiss after exchanging rings, that was the best moment in his life. To be finally united as one with his loved one.
--Let's skip past cause idk much about weddings--
"Damn, congratulations my dear friend! You married at such a young age, look at me not having a girlfriend at all!"
"Thanks, maybe if you stopped scaring people away with your awful flirting, you would get someone."
"He's right, Gunsmile. Look at me, I don't even flirt and I've got a boyfriend."
"That's because you trapped the poor bunny boy, Wat."
"Says who? He came to me on his own accord. You who walked into a tigress' clutches shouldn't even have anything to say, Tharn."

Type chose this moment to appear behind the unsuspecting men with his eyebrow raised, "What tigress?"
Tharn immediately replied with a slightly strained smile, "Oh! Nothing, teerak!" Which only got a hard stare from Type. "Don't you 'teerak' me, you were talking about me weren't you?"
Tharn's self-preservation switch was flipped, "No, no! Not at all! Do you want anything to eat? I'll get it for you."
"No need, but you better get Tine back before he causes trouble..."
With that being said, Sarawat left to retrieve his bunny as the rest of the group stayed with Krist. They congratulated Krist and started small talk, laughing at something brought up once in a while. Sarawat came back with Tine who was confused at why he was dragged away from the food table.
Once Singto was done entertaining the guests from the higher-end of society, you know, those who were rich and they had to maintain good relations with, he made his way to Nammon and Guy to drag them to the group of friends his wife was with.
Wife.
He finally could call him that without getting the flustered 'we're not even married yet' from Krist.
"P'Sing! Over here!"
As he made his way to his life-long partner, a genuine smile replacing the not so real one he had a few moments ago. "Do you want anything to eat?"
Life had never felt so right.

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).

Humanity's End
Given a year to prepare by the mysterious ‘system’ for contact with the wider galaxy, humanity must work to ensure the Earth’s defense is ready to meet any challenge. Sadly, most of the world seems dedicated to tearing itself apart as the year-end deadline gets closer. The west is in barely contained Chaos, while the east descends into internal conflict and war. The Pillar Forts, one of the few successful projects of the United Nations headed by the United States, stand ready to defend humanity against any invasion that may come through the strange Connection Pillars that appeared on each continent. Massive steel and stone walls that surround the Connection Pillars. They are filled with deadly men and women trained in all manner of warfare, each trained in the newly acquired System with skills and magical abilities that they put to deadly purpose. Beside these brave warriors, tanks, helicopters, artillery and more stand ready to defend humanity at each of these powerful installations. But, can they overcome the disparity in levels and experience between themselves and the forces that threaten them and the rest of humanity? Main Characters Jessica Brown- A young African American girl. Her 18th birthday in Detroit was the same day the systems message appeared. She discovered she was Level 7, much higher than most of the rest of the world. Why she is blessed, or cursed, with the power she doesn’t know. But what she does know is that she rather likes the feeling that comes with manipulating magic. The week after her birthday, government workers started testing every person in the US in a massive census effort of skills and abilities. Jessica Brown found herself conscripted into the US Magical Corp, a new branch of the US Military, and shipped off to a Pillar Fort. Somewhere hot and muggy in her ancestors’ home of Africa. As she grows stronger, she finds she has some connection to the pillars. While everyone else sees beauty or danger when they look at the pillars, after connection is made all Jessica can see is a Tree. A tree the size of the entire universe. Isaka Smith - is a third generation American and farmer who just wants to be left alone. But she is dragged into the situation by events beyond her control. When people in her small town had to deal with rioters and looters after the system announcement, she rallied them to defend themselves, earning her a trait that the government found extraordinarily useful. After a visit to a local reservation, she finds herself conscripted to lead one of the many small support towns erected around the great pillar forts. Not near her old home, but in far-flung Africa. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The US government, hell, even the United Nations, seems to have fallen into complete and utter chaos. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up? DEDICATION: This story is dedicated to my father who passed away recently. Jim Holloway, you’ll be missed you old silverback gorilla. Love you dad. Always have, always will.

Tale of the mage hero [Completed]
so I've been into rising of the shield hero for a while now... a lot of things about it ALWAYS bugged me starting with the fact that the world functions like a game and the heroes are supposed to fight together in a party.... BUT WHERE'S THE ARCHMAGE?! THE BLATANT DISRESPECT TO THE MAGE CLASS IS REAL AND ANGERING! so I decided as a gamer who rather enjoys being a mage and healer, I'd rectify that. and other things. for all intents and purposes this is a self insert but I will be using my proxy OC that I use in my nutty fangirl daydreams. DON'T WORRY! I'M NERFING MY PROXY! this will follow the plot of the anime because..... I want to. and I'm..... LAZY~! and using the manga is too much trouble and the light novel is 800+ chapters long. So FUCK THAT! anyways if you read this and think it's lackluster then I want to see you try your hand at writing tate no yuusha fics! no that's not a challenge or insult it's just a desperate plea for more tate fics... we need some more variety! Alright I'm gonna be honest here. This story is laughably bad. So read at your own risk. The only reason I'm not revising it is because 1 I'm Lazy as fuck and 2 to serve as a lesson on what NOT to do for new writers. So like I said, read at your own risk.
