《Scentless Curiosity [KristSingto Fanfic]》21: MIA

Time flew by and Krist was already in his third year of university. Their lives were normal. Other than the short make out sessions they had on the couch and the kitchen island, they proceeded with life as per normal. Singto was graduating in February after the orientation was over. Now Krist was the third year head hazer that people feared and revered, though they were already scared of him last year.
Apparently he and his 'tuan had a fanclub, they called themselves Peraya, a combination of their given names. He didn't know about it until he saw a picture of him and his boyfriend on Instagram, whose post was it you ask? Who else but P'Nammon who lives off of teasing him? He saw the tag #Peraya and got curious, that lead to one thing and then to another. This went on until he realised how many people actually were in this shipping business.
It turns out, a lot.
The story of 'Singtuan'? As embarrassing as it is to tell the story, it happened when they were once again getting intimate in their dorm. That day, Singto was a little bit drunk since he went to the bar, hence the slight lack of control in his actions. Krist became overstimulated and could not take it anymore, he unknowingly blurted out 'Singtuan' instead of 'Singto'. He thought the alpha would forget after he woke up but to his horror, he did not and the next day he even told Krist that he liked the nickname. He said many people called him 'Sing', he wanted to be called something special by his lover.
So from then on, even though Krist liked using that nickname, he would still use P'Sing instead. It was not because he was shy, it was because he felt he needed to give his lover the due respect he deserved as his senior.

Today, he had to oversee the hazer training, this new batch took a little longer than he did but it was still okay. The only not okay was the fact that someone was missing in action for the whole day.
No calls, no texts, not even messages through their friends!
What was he trying to do, drive him crazy with worry and anxiety? How could he just disappear early in the morning with no note about where he went and what he was doing?
Even the others picked up on his mood and told him to calm down because he was scaring the next generation hazer team. The only thing he could do now was to keep his worry and frustration in, calm himself down before he exploded.
*Ding!*
About half an hour before training ended, a message finally came. But it wasn't a certain someone's text.
Joker: Hey, nong. Are you at training?
Turtle: Yes
Joker: Awesome, then you stay there. I'll come over with Guy to pick you up later at 6.
Turtle: Ok?
Joker: 👍
What on earth? This was weird, they never picked him up for anything because it was usually his stupid boyfriend who did that. Was he that busy? He could not even pull out time to pick him up? His mood fell even more, now even his friends were moving further away but he didn't care. He was conjuring up plans on how to deal with a certain alpha.
He heard Tharn's voice from somewhere and Mond shushing him, "I can see it, the evil and twisted plans going on in his head..." "Shut up, please. You want to die?" He just ignored Tharn, let Type deal with him later.
----
The car window slid down, revealing Nammon's usual cheery and handsome smile, "Nong! Come in quick, we're in a rush."

"What happened?"
Nammon let an enigmatic smile spread on his face, "Ah, you'll see when we get there."
----
Guy and Nammon dropped Krist off at a beach before heading off to somewhere else. He scanned the area, vaguely recognising his boyfriend's car at a distance. It was very dim, with the setting Sun providing most of the light. He also saw signs with 'This way' scrawled on them. With nothing else to go off on, he had no choice but to follow the signs.
When he saw a new sign 'Almost there', he knew he was near the end of this maze of a pathway. What he saw made him gasp. There was a mini stage decorated with flowers, lit up beautifully with spotlights.
But what caught his attention the most was the person on the stage. He was so handsome that it dispelled all the horrible things Krist thought off in the afternoon. Krist called out in excitement, "Phi..." Singto brought a finger to his smiling lips, gesturing him to sit on the only chair in front of the stage.
Singto put down the guitar and picked up a bouquet with Gillyflowers in it, Krist didn't even realise the bouquet, his eyes were solely focused on the man on the stage. The man stopped in front of him, knelt down on one knee and brought out a ring box.
"Kit... I know you were probably very mad and worried that I disappeared this morning, I'm sorry about that. I know that we were only together for a year but I want to tell you that the moment I laid my eyes on you two years back, I knew I would never let you go. Since the moment you said yes to be my boyfriend, I was already planning this proposal. I was your senior for one year, your boyfriend for another. Now I want to ask, can I be your husband for the rest of the following years? Will you be willing to marry me?"
Krist started tearing up, "I- I thought you forgot about our anniversary... Did you know how worried I was? I thought you didn't want me anymore!" Singto brought him into a hug, "Baby, I'm sorry... I would never not want you. You are my love, you are my life, my everything. Trust me, you don't know how much I wanted to run over to you since this morning and ruin this whole proposal."
"Yes." Krist abruptly spit out.
"Y-yes to?"
"Yes, I will marry you."
"R-really?! Yes yes yes!"
"What this flower?" Krist admired the flowers' beauty as he waited for an answer. "It's a gillyflower."
"Oh, then what does that represent?"
"My everlasting love for you."

Kit: A proposal!!!!!! Hehe. Okay bye, hope you enjoyed this chapter. Tbh, I almost forgot I was suppose to update but luckily I had a reminder in my phone (╯▽╰ )

"In the beginning, I had no idea what was going on. My brother and friends were gone, my sight was gone, and yet I still saw things, things about this world that no one else knew. I'm not special, or gifted, anyone could have done what I did. I just got lucky, especially after everything that happened afterwards. Magic already existed, it always had. Humans just didn't know how to do it, didn't know how to nuture that small spark in them. Now you do." - Prime Magus of Earth, Alexander Sorin. November 2021 Update: So, it has been four years since I stopped working on this. Reading back, the first "book" is finished. It has what feels like an ending to an arc. Now it isn't a perfect story but I still like it and I can see myself starting the second book, might even this on Amazon or something. My biggest regret was never coming up with artwork for the cover though. Maybe I'll look into it.
