《Scentless Curiosity [KristSingto Fanfic]》4: A cute couple

A/N: I forgot I was suppose to update today... Luckily, I set a reminder on my phone :P
------
Today there were no lessons since it was a Saturday, Krist was thinking of going to the nearest mall for some window shopping. He thought about inviting his sister Jennie but decided not to, he had a feeling he wouldn't be going home until midnight. That animal would probably drag him to a club for 'relaxation' purposes, he never liked clubbing, it was too noisy.
First stop was 7-11, he wanted to get a snack just in case he got hungry. "Should I get some for P'Singto? Maybe not, he doesn't seem to like snacks."
Holding his purchase, he walked out of the shop. He saw a short man tip-toeing with his arms around the taller man's neck, Krist thought he saw the short man's lips touch the other's neck. He looks kind of familiar... For once, the omega felt lonely. He had been single for a very long time, he actually has never gotten together with anyone. Sure he's gone on dates in high school but no one ever appealed to him in a romantic sense.
So here he was, staring at a cute couple from afar without his Mr. Right.
"Kit?"
"Ow, P'Singto... what are you doing here?"
Singto replied with slightly pink cheeks, "Well... I came here to walk around and just happened to see you standing here... What were you staring at anyway?"
"Over there, they're a cute pair aren't they?"
"You like one of them?"
"Are you crazy, no way. How did you even come up with that idea?"
"You look at them with sad eyes, I thought you know one of them."
"I don't know them Phi. I just... got reminded of my single life, it would be nice to have a boyfriend."

Then can I be your boyfriend? Was what Singto wanted to say but held himself back, he knew Krist didn't like him in that way. He was just his friend.
"Come on, let's hang out. Then you won't be lonely anymore since you have me around, I should be handsome enough to fool people that I'm your boyfriend."
"F-fine... I've got nothing planned anyways."
Singto's mood just got a whole lot better, he moves his hand to fit the junior's hand in his, excitedly dragging Krist to the arcade at the last level. I got a date with Krist! Well not really date but, point still stands right?
Krist looked down at their joined hands, the way they fitted so nicely and the warmth from his senior's palms made it feel like it was meant to be.

School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.

Reasons to Stay
Immortality has a cost, it differs from person to person. Some regret seeing their loved ones die, some regret they themselves cannot die, some regret the boredom and some regret nothing. This man regrets not having a choice, so after millions of years of getting shot, beheaded, beaten, stabbed and stoned he escaped from the world by hiding in a bunker with his books. He had studied all forms of science, he had lived history and created art, he was content with being alone with his mind until one day a man with a monocle appears, and he learns the truth. Hi! This is my second novel and I just had this idea when I was trying to sleep and my mind was making me re-live all those goddamn nightmares you don't want when it's 1 am and dark as shit, so I thought of happy things like the fantasy genre and my inevitable death and i'm like why not?

The Twelfth - End
Mana, Chi, Divine, and Demonic, those four powers, which come from their respective entity, are the basis of all creation. For something to exist in this world, this thing must have either of them if not all four of them. The entities they come from could be considered as Gods. But unlike popular believe, they aren't "intelligent" beings. They act based on something unknown to us. This very thing which gave birth to their children. If the "Gods" couldn't be considered "intelligent", the same thing couldn't be said for their children. All of them could think and act on their own. And that's what they did. They quickly realized that among all the other creations, they were unique. Their abilities were nothing like the others. Even among them, siblings, some were clearly above the other ones. Thus, some of the weaker ones, feeling upset about their inability to oppose their siblings, decided to flee. Somewhere very far. And they managed to find something they had never seen before. When the world’s on fire and your garden sprinkler is not going to cut it, there’s only one thing to do: just dig. Just dig, baby. Stranded in a mountaintop suburb monitored by military drones and plagued by wildlife and weather gone crazy, Dezzy and his teenaged neighbour, Sonia, are just trying to save their homes from the next megafires – by digging the biggest, deepest, most badass swimming pool possible. A chlorinated moat at the edge of their derelict suburb that might also provide a refreshing dip in between raging infernos. Only they dig up more than they bargained for, a hell of a lot more.
