《Disco Madness (jjba5xreader)》[15] Working For The Week

You grabbed a record off your dresser and blew the dust off of it. You placed it on the record player and gently dropped the needle on the spinning disk.

You spun around and plopped onto your bed as you began horribly singing along to the song.

Bucciarati banned you from sleeping in anyone else's room alone unless it was Trish's. It's been two days since the cat has been out of the bag, and everyone has been doing their best to keep your mind off your current situation. You were grateful for their support but you didn't want anyone sleeping on the floor of your room, so you ended up spending the last two nights sleeping in the living room with two or more people.

Now you were just laying in bed horribly singing along to your song while eating junk food and scrolling on your phone. This was the closest thing you were getting to your normal life since you've joined the gang.

You were snapped out of your snack binge with someone pounding on your door. You let out a loud groan and got up to turn the music down. You opened the door and saw a glaring Abbacchio on the other side. "Can you keep it down, some of us are still trying to sleep."

You snorted and shook your head, "It's literally the afternoon. Fix your sleep schedule." You could see he was trying not to blow, so you just quietly closed the door and turned the music up half it's volume.

You went back to scrolling on your phone and looking at photos you took while in another time period.

One was with Mista and you drawing on Fugo's face while he slept peacefully on the couch. You had a mustache on your face and Mista had a unibrow drawn on his face.

You snorted at the photo and exited out of your gallery to test out your apps to see what works. You tried sending another text to Four Eyes, which didn't send either. You cussed under your breath and tested out other apps to see if anything other than Spotify worked.

You ended up finding out that a few of your games worked, so that was an improvement on what you could do in your free time.

Before you could get a proper game in, you heard someone quietly knock on your door, which you called whoever it was to come in.

"Hey, (Y/n)~" Narancia called as he hid something behind his back. "Sup, little orange. What can I do for ya?" You questioned as you popped a chip into your mouth as you continued to play on your phone.

"Oh! Maybe you can help me with this math problem Fugo gave me!" He revealed a piece of paper in his hand with a pencil in the other.

You let out a low hiss and picked up your analog clock to throw it at the boy. "No. Do you remember what happened last time I decided to help you with math and co-teach?" Before he could respond you cut him off, "I ended up with a fucking black eye, Narancia, a fucking. Black. Eye."

He winced at your response as he walked up to you. "Pleaaase~! Fugo isn't explaining how to the problems in a way I can understand! Help me (Y/n), you're my only hope."

You sat there for a second and powered your phone off before putting your fist up to your mouth. "No. Also, did you just quote 'Star Wars?'"

"If I say yes will you help me?"

"No."

"It was worth a try. Yes, I did quote 'Star Wars.'"

You sighed and facepalmed at his stupidity before laughing. "You're so stupid. Hand me the paper."

Narancia beamed up at you, "You'll really help me?! Thank-" You cut him off, "Don't thank me yet, I have conditions. One," you raised a finger, "if I get injured in any way trying to help you, I'll fuckin take away your kneecap privileges and bribe Giorno not to fix you. Do you understand?" He nodded his head quickly before handing you the paper.

You took the paper and frowned at it. It was an actual worksheet that you would usually get at a school and not lined paper with a problem written down on it. "What the-" You looked at the top and let out an 'oh'. It was a homework assignment you never did that Narancia probably found in your bookbag somewhere. Your name was messily scribbled on the paper, and it looked crumpled from when you probably shoved it in your bag.

You let out a low hiss at the paper and winced at the problems. "You're not ready for this kind of work yet, buddy." Narancia let out a 'huh' and looked at you like you just called him stupid. Which you basically did earlier.

"Erase what you did, you're not even ready for Algebra yet." He let out a low whine and pouted slightly as you went back to scrolling on your phone. "Tell Fugo I said 'hi.'" Narancia just dragged his feet out of the room in defeat as you popped another chip into your mouth.

"Poor soul is probably going to get stabbed or beaten to death again." You muttered to yourself as you heard the ear-piercing screech come from upstairs that most likely belonged to Narancia. "Yup." You popped the P as you played on your phone.

You didn't even hear anyone come to your door as it slammed open with a disheveled Giorno on the other side. "(Y/n)! I need you to help me hide something!" You sat up in bed with a serious expression and wiped the chip crumbs off your face.

"Who did you kill and where's the body? This isn't my first rodeo." You asked as you got out of bed and pulled the needle off of the record.

"Killed? What? No, I need you to help me clean something up before Bucciarati finds out." You let out a quiet 'oh' before your cheeks flushed red from embarrassment. "When did you hide a dead body?"

"Let's go clean up your mess then." You ignored his question and walked upstairs to the blonde's room.

You slammed his door open and took in the sight of his room.

It had cream-colored walls with a few plants hanging off of it as a giant window in the middle of the room let light in. A queen-sized bed with a giant yellow blanket had a few green vines embroidery into it. There was a storage bench at the foot of the bed with light pink velvet on top of it. There was a dresser on the right wall with plants coving the whole thing with a small picture frame that had a photo of the gang, excluding you. You looked at the wall to the left of the doorway and stared at the vanity with an ungodly amount of hair products on it, accompanied by a small succulent plant that seemed to be flourishing.

You immediately spotted the problem on the giant pastel pink carpet in the middle of the room. There was a broken terracotta pot in the middle of it with dirt everywhere. Oh yeah, he really was going to get killed by Bucciarati.

"What do I do? I never broke a pot on a carpet so I have no idea what to do." You hummed in thought before getting an idea. "Grab a plastic bag, a cup of hot water, and the laundry detergent with a spare toothbrush." He nodded his head and ran out to get the items you requested for.

You silently closed the door and began picking up shards of the pot as you got ready to dispose of them. Giorno reentered the room with the supplies as you dumped the terracotta into the plastic bag.

You both spent a few minutes dumping dirt into the bag along with the plant as you both did your best to get the dirt out of the carpet. "This is going nowhere. Help me pick up the carpet so we can shake the dirt off, out your window." You both stood up and carried the carpet over to the window as he opened it so you could shake the dirt off of it.

You shook the carpet a good few times before being satisfied with your efforts. You both laid the carpet back out and looked at the smudge of dirt that was left. "I'll get rid of the evidence you scrub that thing like your life depends on it because it will." He nodded his head as you tied the bag up and left the room.

Luckily Trish and Mista were distracted on the couch as they talked about something that you didn't bother to pay attention to as you passed them and went to the front door.

Before you opened the front door you could hear someone cussing on the other side and saying something inaudible.

You swung the door open and watched the girl on the other side let out a startled squeak as she moved her hands in the air like she was trying to protect herself.

She must've been 5'1 (154cm) or 5'3 (160cm) because she was short as fuck. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail and she had glasses on with headphones around her neck. You noticed a tan mackerel tabby on her shoulder that was trying to eat the cord of the headphones as it dug its claws into her shoulder. You were pretty sure it would hurt if she wasn't wearing a hoodie. She had a laptop bag strapped across her that she kept fiddling with as a book tucked under her arm almost fell.

"Fuck, wrong address..." She muttered under her breath as she pulled a small crumpled piece of paper out of her pocket.

"Yo, kid." She looked up at you with a surprised expression in her brown eyes as you twirled the plastic bag in your hands. "Want to do me a favor since you're out here and I gotta help my friend with something?"

"Uhhhh, sure?" You held the plastic bag out for them as they gingerly took it from you. "Go hide that bag as far away from this house as possible." She looked at you confused before looping the bag around their arm as they fished out a pen from their pocket. "Dose another dimension work?"

"Sure." You shrugged as she wrote something down in the book before black ink pooled out of it. They took a few steps back before setting it on the floor as the book got devoured by the ink pool that was growing.

"Uhhhhh, you never saw me?" They questioned their words as they dropped the bag into the puddle as it disappeared through it like a deep pool of ink. You shrugged your shoulders as you watched them jump through the ink pool.

You watched as the ink evaporated within seconds before there was nothing left to indicate that the kid was there. "Weird day... I hope I'm not on drugs." You closed the door and walked back upstairs to Giorno's room.

He was currently scrubbing the carpet with a toothbrush as it foamed in response. "Hey, Giorno?" He looked up at you from the floor as he continued to scrub the floor, "Yeah?"

"Do you ever get weird kids at your door that look like they came straight out of 'Epic Mickey?'" You questioned as he continued to scrub the floor before stopping and looking up at you in confusion. "What's 'Epic Micky' and no we never get kids out here." You hummed in response and took a seat on his bed as you watched him pour more water on the carpet.

"It's a video game, don't worry about it." He let out an 'ok' before you left the room and closed the door.

You heard a thump next door and decided to investigate it while you were still up here. You opened the door and saw Narancia on the floor trying to crawl towards the door as Fugo held a bloody fork above him. You looked at Fugo's bed and saw an empty plate that had food on it at some point, as crumbs were the only indicator that he was eating earlier.

Narancia reached a shaky hand out towards you as he was silently pleading that you would help him. You slowly shook your head and mouthed 'fuck no' and quietly closed the door as he let out a screech in pain.

You quickly walked away from the crime-scene-to-be as you went downstairs to see what Trish and Mista were talking about.

"So if the boat was completely replaced by the time they made it to the next island, would it be a completely new boat or the same boat?" Mista asked Trish as she lazily stared at the tv.

"I don't know Mista... ask, (Y/n)." You took a seat on the recliner and propped your head up on your hand and looked at Mista. "Shoot."

"Would it be considered the same boat if the whole thing was replaced during a long journey?" You sat there for a second thinking before responding with another question, "Would we be considered the same person after 7 years after all of our cells have died and been replaced?"

Mista sat there dumbfounded before deciding not to answer your question. He just tapped his finger on the armrest of the couch as Trish changed the channel on the tv. "I... It really depends on the person." He responded as you snorted.

"And it depends on the boat." You responded as you reclined back in the chair to stare at the ceiling.

You ended up scrolling on your phone again till you got bored. Which was relatively quickly because there was only but so much you could do on your phone.

"I'm going to go something stupid." You sat up and jumped out of the recliner as Mista raised a brow at you, "Don't let Bucciarati catch you. I'm pretty sure he'll break your back again with chores." You rolled your eyes at his statement and waved him off as you went down the hall to your room.

"." You watched as your stand manifested with crossed arms as you kicked your door shut behind you. "Want to help me get onto the roof for a picnic?" He stood there for a second before nodding his head.

You grabbed your backpack and swung it onto your shoulders. "Alright... now I need a way up..." You opened your window and looked up to see if there were any ledges you could grab on to.

You saw an out of place brick where you could jam your fingers to haul yourself up the side of the building. Your stand gave you a boost as he pushed you up so you could grab the small ledge.

You looked around for another ledge to grab and saw a window seal ledge. Your stand gave you one final push and you grabbed the window seal with your foot replacing the last ledge you held onto.

You struggled to pull yourself up on the rather small ledge as you stuck your hands to the glass so you wouldn't fall. You looked into the room and looked back at Narancia who was on the floor in front of Fugo doing work. Fugo's back was to you in a chair reading a book that you couldn't really see.

Narancia looked up and tried not to laugh as you put a finger up to your lips. You pointed to the roof then at your wrist as he nodded his head. "Narancia, do your work." Fugo snapped as Narancia whined, "I gotta take a leak." He complained as Fugo sighed. "Fine, be quick..."

You tried not to laugh as you reached for the ledge of the roof to pull yourself up. You tried not to kick the window as you finally swung your legs over the side to pull yourself up. You looked down at your stand and motioned for him to throw a blanket up.

He disappeared inside the room and came back with a Narancia and a blanket. "(Y/n)! How did you get up there?!" Narancia screamed as hoisted the boy up with the blanket wrapped around him like a cape.

"Lot's of upper body strength that I don't have!" You laughed as he climbed up to Fugo's window. "Give me your hands!" You yelled as he tried not to fall off of Fugo's window seal. He reached for your hands as you grabbed him and leaned back to start pulling him up.

After a few seconds of trying to pull Narancia up, he finally made it in one piece. You panted and leaned back to look at the sky while Narancia untied his blanket cape. "So, you're skipping school to hang with the cool kids huh?" You cooed at him while he rolled his eyes.

"Who's the cool kids? I only see one and that's me." You put you hand over your heart and pretended to be hurt. "Ouch. If I remember correctly Fugo was going to murder you earlier, I don't think cool kids beg for mercy unless it's a slasher film."

He laughed as you both started to crawl up the side of the roof.

"(Y/n)? Narancia? Are you guys on the roof?" You both stopped laughing and stayed quiet as Fugo's voice echoed from his window.

You put your finger to your lips as you both quietly crawled on the other side of the roof so he wouldn't see you immediately if he decided to crawl up on the roof too.

"Close call." You whispered as Narancia nodded his head in agreement.

You felt the wind blow by as you shivered slightly from the chilly air. You forgot how cold it can get during November. You motioned for Narancia to hand you the blanket as you slipped your backpack off.

You wrapped it around the two of you as you both looked at the clouds. You could him rummaging around in your bag before pulling out a small bag of potato chips.

You stared at the clouds and snorted at one that looked like a cow. "Polish cow..." Narancia gave you a confused look but didn't ask what you meant.

"Narancia can you keep a secret." He swallowed his food and put his hand over his heart, "I take secrets to the grave!" You chuckled and looked at him.

"Giorno broke a pot in his room and I have no idea if he was able to get the dirt stain out of his carpet." Narancia tried not to laugh at the fact that Bucciarati would kill Giorno for staining his carpet.

"And I pretty sure he thinks I hid a dead body for someone once..." You trailed off and looked at a plane that was making a streak across the sky.

"Did you hide a dead body at one point?" He questioned you as he popped another chip into his mouth.

"They're called secrets for a reason, Narancia. Even if I did, I would probably never tell anyone, even though I never have hidden a dead body before... but I do know how to."

You chuckled slightly at the weird conversations you've had with your friends on how to hide a dead body.

"Want to hear a funny story?" You looked at Narancia, who nodded his head with a mouthful of chips as he scooted closer to you.

"Once I went to the beach with my friends as we went crabbing for crabs. We caught a few and took them home to cook them but first, we wanted to watch them fight." You watched as a cloud drifted by that looked slightly like a crab or spider.

"So we put two on the floor and watched them grab at each other until it going boring. So natural Matt threw in a kitchen knife to spice things up. One of the crabs rebelled and almost stabbed one of us in the foot as we all screamed."

You watched as Narancia choked on his food as he laughed slightly.

"Matt yelled something about a crab rebellion and Four Eyes made glass crabs fight the crab with the knife. It was hilarious to watch the crab hit glass crabs with the knife and break them while they both panicked. I ended up stepping in glass and had to get stitches." You laughed and stole a chip from him as you watched the sun start to go down.

"(Y/n)! Narancia! Where the hell are you two at?!" Fugo yelled while you and Narancia snickered. You motioned for him to follow you as you slid down to the edge of the roof to see if there were any bushes.

You found something even better, a balcony. You grabbed onto the edge of the roof and dropped down as Narancia dropped down next to you and onto the balcony. You looked at the glass door that led into another room as Narancia opened the door for you. "Ladies first."

You scoffed, "Usually it's the men who explore the danger zone first." You joked as you walked into the room with Narancia behind you.

You heard someone clear their throat as you wiped your head to the side and choked on air. Bucciarati was sitting on his bed with a book in his hand as he stared at you and Narancia with an unamused look.

"Did you two just drop onto my balcony from the roof?" You looked at Narancia and took your backpack and banket from him as you looked back at Bucciarati and let out a long 'uh.' "Run, bitch!" You screamed as you bolted out of the room with Bucciarati screaming at you and Narancia.
