《Disco Madness (jjba5xreader)》[13] Wake Me Up

"Okay, okay! What if we look for a farmhouse that may or may not house cannibals and ask for a ride to the nearest town?" You asked (Y/n) #2 and Matt as you all trudged by the empty road in the desert. "(Y/n), I swear to god if you make one more horror movie reference I'm going to-" "Kill your only chance of survival?" You cut her off as her eye twitched. "Yes..." You chuckled and immediately stopped when you saw a car approaching on the road, "Hey guys, look!" Matt yelled as he waved the car down.
You woke up slightly from something moving under you as you continued to keep your face buried in the pillows. You could hear something purring on your back as you moved your head to the side and cracked an eye open. As soon as you opened an eye, a massive headache crashed over you as you groaned slightly. "Fucking perfect..." You cussed silently as you looked around the familiar yet unfamiliar room.
It finally clicked that you were in the living room of La Squadra and the fact that you and your team spent the night. You felt something shift under you again as you heard someone groan slightly before they stopped moving.
You slowly turned your head and got a faceful of tiddy as you propped your chin up on their chest. You looked at the white-haired male with his purple lipstick smudged across his face with wolf ears falling off his head as he quietly snored.
You stared at Abbacchio in shock as you tried to sit up before feeling something dig into your back. You look behind you awkwardly as the quiet purring continued on your back. "Great... do I break the law and push the cat off my back or do I stay buried in someone's tits?" You grumbled to yourself as you looked around the room and at your sleeping comrades.
Mista and Trish were sleeping together on the couch with their feet in each other's faces. Bucciarati was draped across the armrest of the armchair behind you. You could see Fugo's and Narancia's hair poking out from behind your couch and you assumed Giorno was asleep on the floor too behind you.
You really wanted to get up and take something for your headache but you were couch-bound by a cat. You could see your sheet draped lazily over the two of you and assumed the cat was keeping it in place as you moved slightly.
"I prepared myself for every situation I wake up in, after blacking out drunk, and I didn't prepare for some mundane situation..." You grumbled to yourself as you tried to move off the couch without scaring the cat away.
You put one foot and hand on the ground awkwardly as you tried to slide off Abbacchio and into the floor without disturbing the feline on your back. You had a glimmer of hope for a second until you felt arms wrap around your waist and pull you back onto the couch as Abbacchio buried his face in your hair.
You could feel your eye twitch as you tried not to scream in anger as you just rested your head back on his chest. "Might as well take advantage of this..." You closed your eyes and tried to sleep as your headache continued to pound.
You didn't get far into your drifting as you heard multiple sets of footsteps run down the stairs along with some people talking.
You heard a set of footsteps stop by the couch with someone picking the cat up off your back as it hissed. Your eyes snapped open and you looked up at Formaggio who was trying to pet the grey tomcat as it clawed at him.

"Quiet cat!" He hissed as you chuckled. "Oh..." He looked down at you as you tried not to wake anyone up, "You freed me from the cat but can you free me from the human body pillow?" You stuck an arm out as he sat the cat down and tried to pull you off Abbacchio.
After struggling to pull you from the goth's grasps he finally let go as Formaggio stumbled backward with your face hitting the ground. You groaned as you felt like your head was splitting open from the massive headache getting worse.
You kicked the sheet off and draped it back on Abbacchio as you walked into the kitchen with Formaggio.
Ghiaccio and Prosciutto were cooking what you assumed to be brunch while Pesci did the dishes. "Didn't think you guys were early birds." You joked as you nudged Formaggio, the man just rolled his eyes and ruffled your hair as he walked over to the fridge to find a snack.
You sat on the counter and felt around your body to see if you could find one of your phones to scroll on and pass the time. Luckily you had your modern phone on you with the flip phone as you chose the former.
You scrolled through some photos for a second before opting to see if anything else worked without internet.
"What's that?" Formaggio questioned as he jumped up on the counter next to you and took a bite into a muffin. "Oh... right, you guys don't know..." You trailed off as you continued to scroll through your phone.
Formaggio made a noise of confusion as he continued to look over your shoulder and at the device. "Want to hear a secret?" You asked Formaggio. He hesitated for a moment before nodding his head slowly, "Get me something for my headache first and I'll tell ya."
He quickly hopped down and opened a drawer and pulled out a pill bottle before tossing it to you. You caught it as he filled up a glass of water and handed it to you, "Take two." He instructed as you opened the bottle and popped two white pills in your mouth. You washed it down with water as Formaggio took a seat back next to you and waited for you to finish your glass of water.
"Alright," You wiped your mouth and sat the glass down, "let's play a game..." "But you said you'll tell me a secret if I got you something for your headache~" He whined as you snorted, "What's better than one secret?" Before he could answer you cut him off, "Two secrets... Two truths one lie, ready?" He nodded his head as the rest of the gang listened in as they continued to cook.
"I have a twin sister. I'm from the future. Someone in my family was a cop." You folded your hands and waited patiently for Formaggio to spot the lie. "It's obviously the future one!" Ghiaccio yelled as Formaggio said 'oh'. "What he said..." You snorted and looked at your empty glass of water as you trailed your finger around the rim of the glass.
"Anyone else want to participate?" You asked as Pesci and Prosciutto shook their heads. "alright then, the lie was that I have a twin sister." Formaggio laughed, thinking you were screwing with him and everyone. He then realized after a few seconds you weren't laughing. "Oh shit, you're serious." "Yeaaaaaah, I'm not really sure how the hell I ended up in 2001 one but hey, I get to relive my childhood." You shugged your shoulders.

You noticed everyone stopped what they were doing and were looking back at you in shock. You raised a brow at them, "What?"
You spent the next hour explaining what the future was like as they quickly finished up on what they were doing and surrounded you. "Do cars fly finally?" Formaggio questioned as you did your best to answer everyone's questions. Eventually, the rest of La Squadra poured into the kitchen and got filled in on your situation as you got even more overwhelmed by questions.
You just took a deep breath and let manifest and push everyone away slightly as you got your personal space back. You took a deep breath and closed your eyes as you were thankful the medicine was numbing the pain with your headache. "One question at a time... please." Pesci raised his hand as you pointed at him, "How did you end up in 2001?"
You groaned as you remembered the horrible smell of sewage when you woke up in the sewers. "Long story short; I partied and got drunk and fell into a manhole that may or may not have taken me back to the past... It was the day I met blueberry over here~" You wiggled your eyebrows at said man as he scowled told you to stop using that nickname.
You continued to answer questions as you scrolled on your phone slightly as Prosciutto passed plates of brunch around to everyone. You were all just lounging around in the kitchen eating as you would get a few too personal questions for comfort.
The party came to a halt when Bucciarati wandered into the kitchen confused, "You're up earlier than expected." You gave him a thumbs up and swallowed your food, "Well that's what happens when you wake up on top of someone who moves constantly in their sleep." You handed him a piece of bacon and finished your plate as you sat it in the sink.
"We're leaving soon so finish up your conversation and lets' go." You mocking saluted him as he walked out of the kitchen confused, "Any other questions before I hit the road?" Melone raised his hand. "Any questions other than what size bra I wear?" He put his hand down as a few of his teammates snickered.
"I'm out then, call me if you guys need help with anything." You hopped off the counter and made your way back into the living room as Bucciarati woke everyone up. You felt something rub against your leg as you looked down and saw the cat from earlier rub it's face against your leg as it circled you.
"Kitty~!" You cooed as you squatted down and scratched the feline behind its ear. It only allowed you to pet it a few more times before it trotted away and somewhere behind the couch Mista was sitting on.
You crouched down and rubbed your fingers together and said, "Pspspspsps." "What are you doing?" Formaggio asked as he walked out of the kitchen. "I'm calling the cat over, pspspspsps." He just shook his head and approached the cat and picked it up. It immediately started hissing and clawing at him as he walked over to you and dropped it on the ground in front of you.
The animal used you as a shield as it ran behind you and bushed up its tail at Formaggio. "Why does it hate you so much?" You asked, while you turned around and scratched the cat's back. "It doesn't hate me... it just wants to claw my face off occasionally." You snorted and stopped petting the feline as you stood up and stretched.
Everyone in the room was basically awake at this point and chatting idly as Bucciarati spun the keys around on his finger.
"Hey, (Y/n)! Catch!" Narancia yelled at you while he hurdled your pillowcase towards you. You caught it and stumbled backward as you felt something hard at the bottom, "What the fuck did we fill this up with?!" You reached your hand in and pushed past the sheet and spare clothes as you felt hard candy at the bottom. "Oh..."
You threw it over your shoulder and held on to it as you approached Abbacchio and sat on the couch and stared at him, "What do you want?" He grumbled as he rubbed his forehead, he most likely has some kind of hangover. "I just wanted to say I appreciate your giant tits since they served as amazing pillows last night, 10/10 would recommend it again.
You watched as the goth's face turned a light shade of pink as he stared at you in shock. You could hear Formaggio laughing his ass off in the background while you wiggled your eyebrows at Abbacchio.
"Bucciarati can we leave? Like now?" Abbacchio pleaded as you started cracking up. "Nooooo, let's tell everyone about your amazing-" He covered your mouth with his hand as you continued to talk with a muffled voice. Bucciarati nodded his head and motioned for everyone to make their way to the exit.
You let out a whimper and motioned for Formaggio to give you a hug as Abbacchio speed-walked his way through the kitchen and out the door. You gave Formaggio a heartfelt hug and ran after your team as you waved goodbye to everyone.
You watched as Narancia opened the door to the van as everyone pilled in as you ran after them, "Make way! I'm diving!" You watched as everyone turned and looked at you simultaneously as Fugo had one foot into the van as he stared at you in horror.
Everyone parted like you were Moses and they were the Red Sea as you dove into the van and tackled Fugo into the seat. You hit your face on his chest as he slid across the seat and hit his head on the opposite door as you both grunted.
You stayed still for a moment before slowly lifting your head up to see a fuming Fugo looking down at you. "Oh, shit-" before you could finish everyone piled in the van and squished you up next to Fugo as he glared daggers down at you. You looked up at him and smiled nervously, "Is it too late to say sorry?" He put a hand on your shoulder and held you in place as Bucciarati slid into the driver seat and started the car up to drive.
The car ride consisted of Fugo screaming your ear off as everyone eardrums felt like they been ruptured. You were pretty sure you went deaf in your left ear from the amount of lecturing you got from the hotheaded boy.
As soon as the van pulled into the garage you pulled away from Fugo and climbed over people and tumbled out of the van with your pillowcase sack on your shoulder.
"Get back here (Y/n)!" You flipped him off with a cheeky grin and ran into the house as he ran out after you. As soon as you closed your door and locked it you could hear him pounding on the other side before he stopped and walked away.
You put your ear to the door and breathed a sigh of relief as you tossed your pillowcase on the bed.
Not a second later your closet busted open with a fuming Fugo as Mista closed the door behind him, "TRAITOR!" You screamed at Mista as Fugo tackled you.
You sat on the counter with Fugo as you both held icepacks on your foreheads. You could hear Mista, Narancia, and Trish laughing loudly in the living room as you sent a look that could kill at Fugo.
You both headbutted each other when he tackled you and put a knot on both of your heads. You weren't happy with him and the feeling was mutual.
You sighed and pulled the frozen water away from your head and put it back in the freezer as you left the kitchen. You looked at the trio that were talking together quietly on the couch and giggling occasionally. You walked behind the couch and slapped the back of Mista's head glared down at him menacingly.
He was trying not to laugh at the sight of the knot on your head. "10." "What?" He stared at you confused while you continued to stare down at him, "9." "Let's talk this out." He raised his hands in the air and laughed slightly while you continued to glare at him, "8." Narancia pipped up at the counting, "I don't think she's going to stop dude." "7." Mista stood up and started running upstairs while your eyes followed his movements until he was out of sight.
You vaulted the couch and took his seat in the middle and propped your feet up on the table. You looked at Trish and then Narancia and grinned like an idiot, "Works every time!" You laughed. Narancia and Trish eventually joined in while Fugo walked out of the kitchen with an icepack still on his head.
"I hate all of you..." He walked upstairs while you continued to howl with laughter.
The swelling eventually went down and you were left with a bruise. Bucciarati made his way downstairs and left the house for a second before returning with the mail in his hand.
He skimmed through it and organized it as he continued to shuffle through it. Bills, more bills, a letter for Trish, paychecks for everyone, a package for him, and finally a package addressed for (Y/n). He raised an eyebrow and dropped the mail on the table and picked it up.
He shook the thin orange package and heard something that sounded like glass cling and clang inside the packet.
"Uhhhh, (Y/n), you have mail?" You perked up at the sound of your name as he handed you the orange packet with your name on it, "Sweet!" You stopped for a second a furrowed your brows, "But I don't know anyone who would send me a package...?" You looked up at the capo who had the same confused expression written all over his face.
You shrugged and ripped the thing open as you got up from the couch and made your way over to the table. You dumped it's contents out and watched as 8 glass pawns rolled out with an envelope.
Bucciarati peeked over your shoulder and looked at the black stained glass pawns as you sat them up. "Pawns?" You picked one up and looked into it for a second before sitting it back down. You guessed it belonged to a glass chess set as you reached for the envelope.
You ripped it open and reached inside of it before stopping.
You had a bad feeling about the contents as your hand started to shake slightly. Bucciarati just gripped your hand lightly from behind and pulled the contents out instead.
It was a letter with several polaroid photos wrapped up inside of it. You took note of how they were flipped over so you couldn't see the photographs. You grabbed the letter from Bucciarati and scanned over it for a second before dropping it.
Dear, (Y/n)
It's been a while old friend!
I mean the last time you saw me was at that 80's throwback party! Or was it the day your father died? I can't seem to remember.
Anywho~! You have seemed to used something of mine back in early October! I'm sure you know what it is since it was such a pain to track your pretty little face down! So crule~!
I've been having my mates keep a close eye on you since we've been able to track you down. I've been itching for a rematch since that day so why not play a game of chess with me? Two Kings and their pieces! Let's see who ends up with the most pieces left by checkmate!
Let the game begin!
You sat there at the table as you hesitantly flipped the photos over.
They were all photos of you when you were a kid. Some were of you with a scratched out face standing behind you.
It was a picture of a girl who looked your age or older with sun-kissed skin and long black crimped hair.
You flipped to the next photo and looked and looked at yourself dancing with the same girl with her face scratched out as you both wore cocktail dresses and danced on a disco floor.
You shoved the photos back into the envelope and looked around for the letter. You looked behind you and at Bucciarati; he was reading the letter with furrowed brows as he looked up at you.
Before he could say anything you pulled the letter out of his hand a ripped it up with shoved it with the photos before going upstairs.
You didn't even knock on Abbacchio's door as you opened it while he was in the middle of listening to music. You motioned for him to take off his headphones while Bucciarati followed behind you.
"Where's you lighter?" He pointed at his nightstand and went back to listening to music while you grabbed the small metal object. You went back downstairs and outside to the firepit and lit the envelope on fire and dropped it in the pit before going back inside.
"Why did you do that?" Bucciarati asked while you closed the glass sliding door behind you, "Because I'm not dealing with that bullshit today." Narancia and Trish looked up from the tv and at the two of you confused while you walked to your bedroom.
You plopped down on your bed and sighed when you realized a pillowcase was missing from one of your pillows. You looked at the sack and dumped it out on the floor before sliding the pillow into it and hugging it.
"Fuck this day. It's November first and I already have bullshit to deal with." You buried your face into the pillow and stared off at your wall before you realized you still had Abbaccio's lighter in your pocket.

In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.
