- It's time for Amber to make things work between her and Montana as they make their way to his house. "I don't want to even know what happened and don't even blame it on the alcohol." Montana says to Amber coldly. Amber just keeps quiet and fiddles with her hands, she really just wants to confess her feelings for him. They finally get to his house and today there isn't any breakfast in bed or sweet anything, luckily she had taken her lunch bag. He isn't even taking her clothes off as usual just his and waiting on her to get naked too. They do the deed but it isn't as interesting and enjoyable as before. After about three rounds Montana gets dressed, "Amber uhm, I have to head out do you need something?" Amber just shakes her head no. 'What the hell is going on, what does he mean he has a thing right after all this.' Amber asks herself all these thoughts while Montana continues to gather his keys and phone. "Alright then Ambs, lock the door when I leave I'll call you when I'm back so you can unlock for me. Don't open the door for anyone else but me." He says this approaching her and giving her a kiss, sending a million butterflies to her stomach and erasing every doubt and question she had. Amber eventually chooses a movie and watches it, halfway through there's a knock on the door, she's frightened and then she hears, "Hey dude open up it's me Jake, I can hear the TV so I know you're there." Jake says irritated. Jake is Montana's younger brother, one who Amber once had a crush on early in high school. Amber just keeps quite and eventually she hears him going away. Amber finally falls asleep from being bored and not wanting to think about too many things. Montana calls her to open up,waking her up. "Fuck it I missed you, and I could get used to coming back home to you all so cute in my bed." He says making Amber giggle. They have one last round since it's time for her to go home. Amber decides to check her phone since it's been on silence the whole day. And she finds over fifty missed calls from Jessica, Kate, Samantha and Prudence as well as her parents. 'What the hell is going on here!?' Amber asks herself. She calls Jessica back. "You are in so much trouble Amber, I don't know why you don't listen to me! Your parents were here looking for you and I had to tell them the truth about your whereabouts." Jess shouts at Amber over the phone. Montana is now also scared knowing that his also in trouble. On their way to Amber's house Montana looks at her, "Ambs look if they chase you out dude just send a call back or whatever I'll come fetch you alright." "Alright Montana." Amber finally comes in and all the drama begins and they shout at her. "Amber it's barely been two weeks since your big scandal and again you're not going to school. Where were you Amber?" her mom asks. "I wasn't at school mom yes, but I wasn't with anyone I just decided to roam around town." she lies with such a lame answer. "You're so weak Amber and you know it, you can't even go anywhere without your brother going with you, so try a different lie." her dad scolds her. 'Well wow I'm definitely not going to come out with the truth, not with what happened last time. If he knew all the things I've been doing lately, talking about being weak.' Amber thinks to herself. They continue to scold at her and the confiscate her phone. "Amber you will go okay, you will pack your things and leave this house!" her mom screams at her now coming for her. "Today you will not sleep on my bed you will sleep on the floor with no blanket of mine." Amber doesn't bother to even say anything but she listens and does as she's told.

- It's about three months later and it's almost end of Winter and Amber has been kicked out of the soccer team at school, Jessica is still friends with her and she's been attending school and classes. Mr Walker calls for Amber during their lunch break. "Amber look it's sad that we don't have you on the team anymore but I really like you and I can see the potential in you. Come around my class after-school and we'll talk about how you can earn your way back to the team." Amber agrees even though she gets weird vibes from him. During the day Amber doesn't even focus in class instead she's just daydreaming about Montana and what his doing since they don't have communication anymore. The bell rings finally signaling after school and she makes her way to Mr Walker with Jessica. "I didn't know you'd bring company with you Amber." he says clearing his throat and looking at Jessica to go outside. Jessica leaves and shuts the door. "I've noticed that you leave school late waiting for your car, there is a way for you to come back to the team." he says coming closer to Amber and holding her hand. "Uhm SIR I think it's better with me off the team, I have a lot of school work to do so I do need that time to study." "Well then Amber even better because then you can come to my house tomorrow after school and we can spend some time without us having anything connecting us since I don't even teach grade eleven classes. I can get you any food you like maybe some red wine to help us get into the mood even better. You should text me." Amber is highly disgusted as to when did she become the girl that made male teachers think she was interested in them. "Look sir no thank you, I won't be coming to your house or anything. I'd like to leave now." she says pushing him aside going to grab her bag and head out to Jess. "You'll wish you had chosen a different answer. I would've given you the time of your life, better than these school boys." he says chuckling. "Now I really understand why you hated this guy Ambs, his such a jerk." Jess says to Amber as she tells her everything that happened. "Imagine him doing me better than Montana, I don't think there's any guy who would do me better than he does honestly." They laugh together as they head out of the school yard.

What is a soul ? Is it your true self ? Would you be the same if your soul kept traveling from life to life but your memories faded for each new life you had ? Your education would be different each time, your growing environment would be different, your personality might change. So what is the purpose of the soul ? Mortals never got an answer for this question. Finding an exact definition didn’t matter for them, what they knew was that a soul allowed reincarnation. Even if they lost some memories, getting glimpses of their past lives was more than enough. Getting the possibility of a new life, a better life was what they thrived for. This became an even greater truth as progenitors, the first of their cycle, became scarce. As hundreds of new progenitors were born each century, nowadays, no more than a handful of them appeared every 200 hundreds years. As they represent a new cycle, they embody new opportunities: some progenitors have made kingdoms, others have been their doom. So when four of them appeared at the same place, at the same time, how can it not be perceived as a sign ? A sign that things were about to change…

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
