*Texas's POV*
I wake up in a dark walk-in closet with my hands tied to a beam above me. Suddenly, Confederate opens the closet door.
"Oh, you're finally awake! How'd you sleep, pet?" Confederate cooed.
"L-leave me alone!" I cry. Confederate walks up to me... my legs are tied together so I can't kick him... he puts his hands on my hips and his lips on my neck. "Stop!" I cry. He bites my neck hard, making me yelp.
"Shut up, pet," Confederate says. I hold my breath, as Confederate licks the blood off my wound. He then looks me in the eyes. I pursed my lips, but confederate pried them open with his thumb and kissed me. I feel tears fall down my face, my body trembling.
Suddenly, I hear a loud bang. Confederate let's go of me and runs out of the closet, locking me in. I hear fighting and yelling, a loud gunshot.... and silence. Out of the silence, were slow footsteps... they got louder and louder, until I realized someone was right outside of the closet. I hold my breath...
"Texas...," California cries, opening the closet door. He's shaking and burning, holding a gun tightly in his hand.
"Cali! Did he hurt you?" I cry.
"I-I'm ok... what did he do to you...," California said.
"I...I...... I wanna go home...," I cry, not wanting to answer his question. California unties me, and we walk out of the house to find police officers shoving Confederate in an ambulance. They gently escort me to a different ambulance and take me to the hospital. They found multiple bruises and scratches on my body, but nothing life threatening.
The next week, Confederate is in jail, and everything is calm again. Me and California are cuddled up on the couch, watching our favorite movie.

"I'm glad we met Texas," California says. I smile and kiss him on the head... but he stands up and sits on my lap... and I let him this time. I kiss him, and he kisses back passionately. I feel his tongue slip past my teeth and I let out a small moan... I've never been so... close with someone before... at least not consensually. I put my hands up his shirt, and gently graze his body, being careful not to hurt any old wounds and burns. Suddenly, California pulls away.
"You're so gentle," He whispers.
"S-sorry-,"
"No, no... I love it.... Nobody was ever as gentle as you... that's how I know you love me Texas. You care to be gentle... I love you for that," he says. I smile, and pull him into a kiss. I could get used to this...
I really cranked out this story, but I think it's sweet
Maybe I'll make a sequel if I can come up with a good enough story
Thank you for reading!)

# The Gemstone of Ominium 2 - Pain
Her unfazed expression didn’t even waver when the blade of her thin sword pierced one of the men all the way through armor, flesh and bone, a gurgling sound bubbling from his throat. With a kick she mercilessly pushed him back, freeing her blade, and glanced down at his dead body sprawled at her feet, confirming that death had indeed taken him. Stepping over the dead man’s body as if it were a mere pebble on her path, she raised her head just in time to see her second attacker lunge at her and, nimbly turning on her heels, she slit his throat. A spray of hot, sticky blood hit her left cheek and slid down her neck, but she didn’t even blink. The scent of the fresh blood filled her nostrils and her brain like an inebriating drug and she stepped forward once again, lightly turning to one side to avoid being decapitated and quickly returning the favor. One by one the men kept falling as she advanced, victims of her lethal, almost mechanical movements, as if she’d been born with a sword in hand and ready to kill …* This is a direct continuation of Book 1 - Denial. You CANNOT start reading Book 2 without reading Book 1, since the story won't make any sense! Enjoy ^_^*
