*Californias POV*
I'm staring blankly at myself in the mirror... this is the fifth outfit I've chosen, and I'm still not sure about it... oh whatever, I'm not looking for another hookup anyway. Texas texts me that he's here, and I anxiously walk outside. I get in his car and he flashes me his beautiful warm smile... oh god did I seriously just call him beautiful? I guess I did, and it's hard to deny.... I've never seen a smile quite like his. Anyway, we drive to the beach and join the other states and cities. And to my surprise, America's here.
"Tex! Cali! Nice to see you guys!" America exclaimed.
"Nice to see you too! Finally found space in that busy schedule of yours to hang out?" Texas exclaimed. America smiled and nodded.
"Yep! Now c'mon, tell me stuff! What've you been up to?" America exclaimed, he and Texas walking away. I wanted to follow them, but suddenly someone grabs my waist.
"Cali! I've missed you! You keep running off on me!" New York exclaimed. Oh god....
"Missed you too Yorkie," I said. I mean, he is my friend, and I do enjoy his company... I guess he doesn't realize it's only platonically.
Nonetheless, me and Yorkie hang out for the majority of the party. I keep noticing Texas staring in my direction, but we're both too wrapped up in our own groups... I kinda realized how different me and Texas are despite our similarities. I'm a gay bitchy city boy and he's a tough yet sweet country boy... and our groups reflect that. There's me and my group, bitching and gossiping, and his group, having a nice discussion over beer. It's almost funny.
Now, I don't exactly know why, but someone had to start the badmouthing... and of course, it's my turn in the hot seat. A bunch of drunk states started getting on my case that I slept with New York despite not being in a relationship with him... and... well... New York decided to show them I was 'his'.

New York grabbed me and kissed me... silencing everyone.
"He's my boyfriend," New York said, and I wanted to disappear.
"Then why'd Texas drive him here?" New Jersey challenged. New York shrugged.
"Texas is probably just jealous of me and Cali, he keeps stealing him away from me-,"
"I'm not an object!" I yell, before storming away. I go to the public restroom and hide behind the building. Great, now I'm fucking panicking... shit what do I do?!!
"Cali? Hey, babe-,"
"S-stop!" I exclaimed, looking down... but New York lifted my face to meet his gaze.
"Cali, please... if you date me everything will be ok-,"
"Get away from me!"
"Cali, you're panicking, I can't leave you-,"
"Get your hands off me!"
"Please calm down babe, it'll be ok-,"
"Don't you fucking dare kiss me!"
"Cali-,"
"Hey," Texas exclaimed, pushing New York away from me. "Leave him alone," Texas said.
"This is none of your business," New York spat.
"It's none of yours either," Texas fired back. I didn't want to hear them argue. I just grabbed Texas's hand and walked to his car, New York watching us from the bathroom.
"Take me home," I said. Texas looks at me and nods silently.
"Ok," Texas said, unlocking his car. We get in, and he drives me back home. "You ok Cal? You need anything?" Texas asked. Hm...
"Come in, we can watch that movie I was telling you about," I said. Texas smiled.
"Sounds like fun," Texas said.
