(Btw, sorry if at points it seems like everyone is just flirting with everyone. I just wanna establish the relationships so that way it doesn't come as a shock later lol)

Meanwhile, the next day, California was sewing outfits and having Nevada model them.

"Hmmm this is cute, but it's more fitting for a super buff male.... like... a Herculean type dude... get me Texas," California said. A few minutes later, Nevada came back with Texas.

"Hiiii.... what are we doing?" Texas asked. Suddenly he was covered in fashionable clothes. Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah casually walked into the room to see what was up.

"Ohhh fancy," Arizona said, observing Texas's outfit.

"I dunno, I don't think purple is my color," Texas said.

"As long as it's on you, you make it your color!" California exclaimed. Texas laughed and put on the fancy cowboy hat California made for him.

"Can I get an outfit?" Arizona asked.

"Sure! Everyone can!!" California exclaimed happily, shoving outfits at his friends. They went and got dressed, and they showed off.

"Awww Utah you look so cute!!!!" Arizona exclaimed. Utah laughed and shook his head.

"Thanks... this sure is a look," Utah said, looking down at his ripped jean overalls with his off-the-shoulders red undershirt.

"I gave you the more modest clothing, because that's more your vibe... and also I made more girl clothing so most of you are modeling in Nevadas place," California said.

"Wait wait wait... so you're still implying your dressing is according to our vibe... and my vibe... is daisy dukes and a transparent loose-fitting crop top?" New Mexico said.

"Well, you look sexy don't you?" California asked.

"I mean yeah but like.... I actually can't really argue, I look f*ckin hot," New Mexico said. Arizona was staring at New Mexico, very focused.

"Um... Ari? You're spiking," Texas said. Arizona looked down and realized thorns were poking out of his skin.

"Sssssoooooorrrrrrryyyyyyyyy Im just uhhh on edge," Arizona said. New Mexico chuckled.

"You think I'm cute, admit it," New Mexico said, striking a pose. Arizona blushed and looked away.

"I think that your boxers protruding from under your shorts looks tacky," Arizona said. New Mexico shrugged, before leaving the room. He came back in a few minutes, his boxers not showing from under the shorts.

".... did you take your underwear off?" Utah asked.

"No silly! I just replaced it with my speedo," New Mexico said.

"You didn't strike me as a speedo kinda guy," Texas said. New Mexico shrugged.

"Whatever, how do I look now Ari?" New Mexico asked, posing.

"Slutty," Arizona said, trying to advert his eyes from everyone else in the room. New Mexico laughed.

"Awww thanks!"

"That wasn't a compliment-,"

"And I'm not taking it as one, nor as an insult," New Mexico said.

Meanwhile, Hawaii realized Alaska forgot his earrings in her room when he came over for shave ice. Because earrings can also be bada** and manly so hah.

Anyway, she went to his room to return them. She knocked on the door three times before deciding that she made her presence well known enough to just walk right in. When she did, she discovered that his room was akin to Elsas ice palace because of course it is. However, being a lava girl herself, she couldn't help but feel unbearably cold. She remembered when Alaska was in her room- a hot beach-side house with a literal lava-waterfall just casually inside of it- he seemed unbearably hot. They were definitely on very opposite ends when it came to temperature. Even when it came to personality, she was energetic and extroverted while he was calm and introverted. She was very cheery and friendly while he's gloomy and standoffish. Even with looks, they were opposites. She had brown hair, tan skin, and red eyes. He had blond hair, pale skin, and blue eyes.

however, after talking to him a bit the other day, she realized they had one thing in common; they were both painfully lonely.

"Alaska? Hey... you left your earrings in my room... I just wanted to return them," she exclaimed. Her voice echoed through the cold, empty foyer. She sighed and set the earrings down on a table near the entrance.

"I'll just leave them here," she said. But suddenly, she heard footsteps.

"Hawaii?" Alaska said, descending from a staircase at the end of the foyer. Hawaii smiled.

"Hi! I was just returning your earrings," Hawaii said. Alaska glided up to her and took his earrings, putting them on. She noticed that the gold earring sparkled a silver hue when he had them on.

"Thank you...," Alaska said.

"noʻu ka hauʻoli! I'll get out of your hair now," she said, beginning to walk away.

"Wait," Alaska said, grabbing her hand. Both of them paused. His hand was freezing against her hot skin. But for a brief moment, they felt the comfortable warmth that followed. An equilibrium. "Um... you may stay if you'd like... I... it'd be nice to talk a bit more," Alaska said. Hawaii smiled.

"Of course but... it's a bit cold," she said softly.

"O-oh... sorry...," Alaska said, looking down in thought. "Oh! You can borrow a jacket," Alaska said. He went to his closet, and quickly returned with a warm jacket. The kind that's meh on the outside, but super furry and cozy inside. Hawaii put it on, and it fit like a dress on her. She laughed and put on the hood, nice and bundled up. Alaska thought she looked absolutely adorable.

Meanwhile, New York was taking a nap (something he really enjoys doing), when suddenly he heard a noise. He got up and turned on the lights, but when he looked around, nobody was there. He sighed, and was about to lay back down, when he suddenly saw a note on his bedside table, next to a beautiful silver necklace. The note read...

New York smiled and put the note in his drawer with the other secret admirer notes. Now that he knew New Jersey wasn't leaving the notes, he felt super curious as to who was. He picked up the silver necklace. He wondered if his secret admirer left it for him. He put it on and smiled at his reflection. It was nice to feel loved, even if the person loving you was a mystery.

Here's kittens this time because I took baes criticism into account:

.... I'm sorry they just aren't as cute in my opinion but perhaps that is because my father literally had to go to the hospital just because of how allergic he is-
