《Taming the Rogue》Ring Size

"You had me worried sick!" Demi yelled at the top of her lungs and it made me flinch. She's never yelled at me like that.
"I couldn't help it. I didn't have control." I whimpered and slightly cowered.
"You ran away from me, leaving me here a crying mess, because you had a drive to kill! You're not a fucking wolf Harlow! You're part wolf, yes, but you aren't a pure fucking wolf and they don't even do that shit!" Demi snapped at me.
And then I said something that hurt both of us. "Then go get a wolf." I muttered and walked away, leaving her in the room, not wanting to know what her reaction is.
I heard a gasp for air as she tried to breathe after my statement stabbed her, but my pride wasn't letting me turn around. Her footsteps quickly came up behind me and she stopped when she saw me standing just outside the door with my back to her.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said. That was very out of line of me to say that." I took a deep breath and closed my eyes before turning around, and when I did the sight was heartbreaking. I got a good look at her tear stained face, messy hair, and the pained expression that she must've been wearing since I left the house hours ago.
Demi opened up her arms and I met her the rest of the way and pulled her to my chest. Yes, she is the dominant, but even the strongest of people with the most dominant personalities need to be held sometimes. If I had it my way I'd just cuddle with her for the rest of my life.
"I'm here now. I'm sorry I left. I have to learn how to stop those outbreaks." I rubbed her back and kissed her forehead. "I love you."
"I love you more." Demi tried to bring her crying to a halt, but it wasn't doing much.
"I'll hold you as long as you need me to."
She nodded her head in my chest.
It's been a few days since the incident, and I can tell there is something on Demi's mind.
"Please tell me what has been worrying you." I sighed, not being able to see her pace anymore.
She took a deep breath before speaking. "I'm just curious on what our future looks like in your eyes and if it's different than it in my eyes. If we want the same things or not."

"What do you mean?" The randomness caught me off guard.
"I want kids in my future, Harlow." She sat down on the couch and ran her hands through her hair. "I feel like you don't though."
I sat in silence. "I have never thought about having kids before. I've never been in a stable environment to even think about bringing some into the world."
"But now that you are, maybe in the near future would you want kids? Like, a year or so? I'm not getting any younger and I need kids in my future. I need to be a mother." Demi looked up at me.
"Who would you want to carry them? I can't right now, because I just started my NFL career, and the baby probably wouldn't make it with my genes. And what if they tell their friends at school that their mom is part wolf? Do we wait to show them till their older and can keep their mouths shut or have them see me in my wolf form when their babies and teach them to keep quiet? There is a lot of precaution that would need to be discussed first." I sat beside her.
"I would be more than happy to carry them, and with kids it's best to get them introduced into things at a young age that they need to be okay with, instead of them getting older and already having opinions given to them by others. I know you are worried about it, but will you please think about it?" She sighed and then got up and walked away before I could say anything.
I'm not against having kids, it's just scary when you are part wolf and a NFL player. If news got out, we'd be in deep shit. Not like they'd be able to prove it, but if they did it wouldn't be good.
I also don't know what Demi's ring size is.

"I need you to find out what Demi's ring size is." I told Tate and Emily, hoping they had an idea.
"Damn, popping the question?" T asked with amusement.
"She's already talking about kids T!" I whisper yelled because she's in the shower and we're in the living room, and she sneaks up sometimes no matter how good my hearing is.
"Wow, you better hurry up your game." Emily added. Jesus she's like Tate.
"Yeah, I know. Can you just figure it out while I ask her parents for permission, and if they say yes I kinda need a size." I practically begged the pair to help me.

"We'll get it." Emily answered for them and Tate looked at her in annoyance. "With a quick shopping spree I can get it." She smirked at Tate.
"You are going to run my bank account dry." T groaned.
"If you find out what size it is, I'll pay for everything." I looked over my shoulder to make sure she still wasn't there.
"Deal, I'll talk to her about going tomorrow. My parents are out of town for the weekend, so I've got all day today and tomorrow." Emily shrugged and I thanked her one more time before heading back into our bedroom to check on Demi.
When I saw her standing at the edge of the bed with just a towel around her I took a step back and took the sight in.
"Where did you go? I thought I told you to stay on the bed?" Demi asked me without even looking over at me.
"Tate needed something and Emily just got here so I wanted to greet them." I made up a quick lie.
"What's the rule about moving?" Demi growled at me as she put on underwear and a bra.
"Only move if there is an emergency." I sighed in disappointment in myself and looked down at my feet in submission.
"I don't have much time before I have to go meet my mom and sisters, so sit backwards in the chair. Shirt off. Now!" Demi snapped at me.
Today is not a good day for Demi. She is pissed for some unknown reason.
"Count to twenty." She growled as she picked up the cane.
"Twenty? And the cain?" I knew I fucked up as soon as I spoke.
"How dare you back talk me! Make it thirty five!" Demi raised hell on my back and I groaned, hissed, yelped, and cried out in pain with the last blow. "Don't you ever talk back to me. I thought you knew better. Now go get me my black heels." She let the cane drop to the floor out of her hand and walked back over to the bed to put her dress on.
I could barely move after that, but I'm doing my best to get to the closet since I already messed up twice today.
"Never mind. I'll get them. You're too slow. You keep disappointing me today Harlow." Demi scolded me and I stopped and just collapsed to the floor in pain. I didn't want to code out because I had messed up so bad and I also didn't get any flashbacks.
I start to cry and try to get up the best I can so I don't disappoint mistress again.
"What are you doing on the floor? Are you in wolf form? No, so get up and sleep or something. Maybe that's why you're a disappointment today." Mistress growled at me and I broke down.
I got to the bed slowly and bawled my eyes out, and cried even harder when she left the room. I disappointed her.
I've been crying on the bed for the past few hours. I hate myself.
The bedroom door swung open and I kept my eyes shut. No words were spoken. I know I disappointed her again when I didn't get up once she came into the room, but my body is so weak right now that I can't move an inch.
I felt the bed dip and I opened my eyes to see the familiar brown eyes meet mine.
"I am sorry about today. My dad had pissed me off and I took it out on you, and that isn't fair to you at all. Let me look at your back." Demi sighed in apology.
"I'm okay. Don't worry. I messed up a lot today." I whispered with hopes it would prevent me from crying.
"Roll over Harlow." Demi looked me in the eyes and I knew not to protest.
A gasp was all that could be heard. "Baby! You should've coded out!" Demi sounded pained, but also confused.
"I didn't want you to be even more disappointed in me, and I also deserved it." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Let's get you in the bath. Some hot water should soothe it some..." Demi got up and ran the bath.
I limped over to the bathroom. My legs didn't get hit, but they're weak from me not eating and me crying all day.
She goes from wanting kids with me to taking all of her stress and anger out on me

World Step (Rewrite)
This is a rewrite of my story World Step. Though, in reality, this is my first serious draft. The shadows grow deeper on the planet of Whorrl even as a dark, and ancient ritual takes place within the depths of The Abyssal Mouth—a chasm of both fortune and calamity. The story follows Quintin, a Grandmaster Martial Artist from Earth, as unforeseen elements conspire against him from the depths of space. *No Harem *Strong MC, but by no means does he go through enemies without injury or at least learning something. *Throw on [Horror], and possibly [Psychological] elements. *Dark Fantasy with some [Grimdark] leanings. Notes: this will be a place where I endeavor to rewrite and fix issues. With that in mind, expect revisions, edits, and other things of that nature.

My native language is English but there will probably be some mistakes so let me know if you find any. This is my first fiction so any advice is welcomed. Disclaimer:I do not own Dragon Ball or Overlord Other Disclaimer: I also do not own the cover art. If the owner wants me to take it down please tell me and I will do so immediately.
