《Taming the Rogue》Long Day

"So you're a werewolf." Maddison's facial expression had a hint of amusement and a lot of curiosity. Demi's dad is out with friends, so Demi and I are at the house while he isn't.
"I call myself a hybrid, because werewolves are a fictional supernatural monster for stories." I clarified with a small smile.
"Oh, sorry." Maddison genuinely apologized before she spoke again. "So do you hunt like a wolf would when you're in that form?"
"That's more of Tate's field of expertise, but I'll hunt if I'm craving it which isn't often." I shrugged and took another bite out of my sandwich. Demi's mom made us real meatball subs and I haven't had a real home cooked meal in while because Demi is shitty at cooking. She'd burn the water before she could do anything with it.
Maddison nodded her head. "Can I see your wolf again?"
I chuckled. "Yeah, just let me finish my sandwich." I practically inhaled the rest of my sandwich before getting up to go to the bathroom to take off my clothes and shift.
The familiar sharp pinches around my joints nearly consumed me as my fur started to grow. I shook out of coat before realizing I locked myself in the bathroom. Maybe one day I will be less of an idiot.
"Hey Demi... I forgot that I can't unlock doors without fingers." I whined and I heard footsteps approach the door.
"You're a dork." Demi giggled as I walked out of the bathroom.
Maddison had a huge smile on her face.
"I didn't get to see you in the light. Your coat is so pretty." She smiled brightly and I walked over to her to let her run her fingers through my strands of fur.
"Thanks." I smiled at her before stretching out a little. "I haven't switched since that night, so this is quite relaxing." I chuckled.
Demi walked up beside me. "I'd have you come sit on the couch with me, but you shed more than any animal I have ever met." She giggled as she watched as I leaned into her touch as she scratched in between my ears.
I hummed in appreciation.
"Just get a blanket and have her lay on that." Demi's mom suggested.
I swear she's thinks more than any of us.
Demi nodded and grabbed a blanket from the closet before draping it on top of the couch and sitting on it before patting the spot beside her.

I hopped up onto the couch beside her and plopped down with my head in her lap. My lungs let out a breath of air as a small smile rested on my lips. It probably looks creepy, but I can't help it.
"Shit shit shit, dad just pulled into the driveway and he does not look happy." Maddison ran into the living room.
"Let him walk in." Demi's mom shrugged. "He is going to have to go through me to get to the most adorable thing I've ever seen in my life." She motioned her hand over at Demi and I cuddled up on the couch.
I was hesitant, but I did my best to trust her mom as she continued to wash the dishes.
Eddie walked, more so stormed, into the house and went straight into the kitchen. "What happened, dare I ask?" Demi's mom asked with a slightly worried tone.
"Johnathan fucking got in a fight at the bar and now he is in jail." Eddie slammed the fridge shut after searching its contents.
"We have guests. Enough of the cursing." Demi's mom scolded her husband.
"Who?" Eddie scuffed his feet out to the living room, and once he saw me he flipped shit. "I told you, mutt, that if you ever stepped foot on my property again I'd shoot you." He went to go to the closet, but Demi's mom yelled at him.
"One, this is our property!" She banged her hand on the kitchen counter. "Two, how dare you talk to Demi's girlfriend like that? And three, you made a promise to her to always support her and her decisions. As of right now you are breaking that promise."
Oh shit. Shit has gone down and is going down.
He searched for words as his mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water.
"Babe, let's head on home." Demi whispered in my ear and I nodded against her lap before hopping off of her. "We're going to head home now."
"No you're not. We're going to sit and play games and enjoy each other's company till we all learn to love each other like I love you. Eddie, go get 'Cards Against Humanity' out of the closet." Demi's mom, Mrs Dianna, spoke with authority and all of us froze. Well, fuck. "Harlow, you can stay in that form and play on a team with Demi if you choose, or you can shift back and play on your own. I think it would be rather challenging to play without fingers."

"Or she could just not play at all." Eddie grumbled.
"What did I do to you? That's all I ask." I glared at him.
"You proved to me that you are a monster." Eddie snapped back.
"No, she proved that she was abused in a lab due to her asshole parents giving her up for money. She proved that her love her Demi, and Demi's love for her, is unbreakable. So get your shit together and play the damn game." Mrs Dianna snapped at her husband. Now I see where Demi got it from. She cleared her throat before speaking again. "As I said Harlow, you choose."
"Yes ma'am." I spoke just loud enough for her to hear. "Demi, which would you rather?" I asked Demi as she slowly sat back down.
"Just come sit back down baby girl." Demi patted the spot beside her. "Even though you take up three-fourths of the couch." She lightly giggled to lighten the mood, and she succeeded in my case. Just her smile can calm me.
"Make sure you get all of you hair off of my couch afterwards." Eddie grumbled quietly.
"It's our couch and it would by why she is laying on a blanket." Mrs Dianna shut him back up.
Meanwhile Maddison and I were sitting here awkwardly due to the amount of confrontations in the past few minutes.
"Who wants to read a black card first?" Mrs Dianna asked with a small smile that was full of intimidation.
"I will." Maddison gave me an SOS look, but Eddie is pissed at me, so the amount of things I can do for her is incredibly slim.
A few hours later Mrs Dianna let us go home since we all shared some laughs and some smiles. Eddie progressively got better over time, but he still isn't fond of me which pisses Mrs Dianna off.
"That was incredibly awkward." I sighed as I got out of the shower with just a towel around my body.
"Yup," Demi shook her head as she got up and pulled me into a hug. "This is an innocent hug, so don't get any ideas."
"Trust me, I am way to stressed out after that to want to do anything, nevertheless have sex." I chuckled as I buried my head in her neck.
"I could help my good girl relax if she needs it though." Demi pulled away just enough for her to wrap drape her arms around my neck.
"I'm just not in the mood, but I belong to you, so the choice is yours." I spoke in a submissive tone.
Demi hummed in satisfaction. "I'm not in the mood either. I was just gonna eat you out and then call it a day, but if you don't want it you don't want it." She innocently shrugged.
"Damnit Demi, don't get me worked up. I just wanna sleep." I whined. "But now you've got me turned on."
"That was the point. I want to help my beautiful girl relax." She shrugged with a smile as she laid down on her side of her bed. "But if you don't want it, that's fine."
I dropped my towel and laid in bed. "I will not protest if you do." I gave her a cheesy smile.
All I got was a hum as she rolled over and straddled me, holding me in place as she roughly kissed me.
A moan slipped and she smirked against my lips before exploring my mouth with her tongue. My hips had a mind of their own as they tried to find any kind of friction.
"No no beautiful girl. If I am not there yet do not try to please yourself in the meantime." Demi scolded me and lightly slapped my side.
"Sorry Mistress." I moaned out as she made her way down my neck before licking a stripe from my collarbone to my jawline.
She hummed. "I bet."
Demi went tortuously slow as she made a show so she was naked too. She didn't want pleasure, but if she did I'd definitely be down for that.
I love how I went from 'I'm not in the mood' to 'let's fuck'. I swear I'm bipolar. That or Demi is just such a fucking tease that I can't not get turned on just by the way she talks to me.
Apparently I got lost in my thoughts, because she was right where I needed her the most and my back arched in pleasure.
This is going to be a long night.

Rewrite -> https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/55140/stranger-than-fiction 150k words of rewritten and new content, updating 3 times a day. Faith is like ice-cream. It comes in all flavors. Greek, Norse, Sumerian, Christian— just name it and it's there. Adventures, on the other hand, are like credit cards. The first taste is free, but the price only goes up from there. Family heirlooms, now those are true evil. You get burdened with them for sentimental reasons even if they’re icky. For Lukas Aguilar, it was a pendant. A small, weird metal nib with absolutely no vampiric tendencies. All he wanted was to finish the job at hand, and get on that book he had been postponing for a while now. Instead he got served with an apocalypse for breakfast, a cave full of eldritch monsters for the company and the whims of a ruined goddess for his To-Do list. Really, a simple NO from the universe would have sufficed. Acknowledgments Editor-in-Chief: Solo Starfish Artwork: Exodus
