I just hope Forrest did what I told him before.

“W-what?”

“Yes, he asked if where were you….he addressed you as Tita Cha. Does Marielle have a child already?” nakahinga ako ng maluwag sa sinabi niya. Mabuti at naalala pa niya ang bilin ko sa kanya that whenever tatawag siya at iba ang nakasagot, he will not call me Mommy.

“Ah n-no! He is my maid’s c-child.” Palusot ko, he nodded and we continued eating.

“Oh, you have a house? Saan? So I can drop you off.” Crap. Think Chavelle, think!

“No!”nabigla siya sa pagsigaw ko. “I mean n-no, dyan mo nalang ako ibaba sa mall. May bibilhin pa kasi ako.”

“Really? I’ll accompany you sweetheart.” Ba’t ba ang kulit niya?

“Please, just let me be okay? Let me adjust first. I’m giving you a chance so don’t overuse it.” Alam kong nasaktan ko siya sa sinabi ko but I can’t risk it! Baka pumunta pa siya sa bahay at makita ang mga bata.

“O-okay, I understand. Are you going to the restaurant today?”

“Maybe. I don’t know.” Hindi na siya nagsalita at nagpatuloy na kami sa pagkain.

Pagkatapos ay ibinababa na niya ako sa mall. “Mag ingat ka.” He said and kissed my forehead before letting me out. Hinintay ko munang umalis siya bago ako pumara ng taxi at nagpahatid sa bahay nina Marielle.

I picked up the kids and we drove home.

“Babies, I am so sorry kung hindi nakauwi si Mommy kagabi ha?” pagkausap ko sa dalawa nang nasa kuwarto na kami. They were playing and the one who was paying attention to me was Forrest.

“It’s okay, mommy. I called you but someone answered and it was not you so hindi kita tinawag na mommy po.” Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Forrest.

“Mommy, I wanna see Tita Chichi po!” nagulat ako sa sigaw ni Serenity.

“Why baby? I can just bring your favorite steak naman.” Nakaupo kami sa mat ng playroom nila, nakakandong sa akin si Forrest habang may hawak na building blocks.

Serenity looked so cute in her pigtails while Forrest looked so cool in his bun.

“Because I dreamed po na makikita namin si Daddy doon. I wanna see daddy!” napaubo ako sa sinabi niya. Silang dalawa ay napapanaginipan na ang ama nila. This is the second time Serenity asked for her father.

“Serenity, we don’t have a daddy okay?”Forrest said so cutely that I wanna pinch his cheeks.

“But but but…… I still wanna see tita Chichi!” matigas talaga ang ulo nitong si Serenity. She is the one that is hard to handle. Hindi kasi siya masyadong malapit sa akin unlike Forrest.

“Okay okay, calm down babygirl. But first we have to clean your room so that we can go see tita Chichi, okay?”mabilis na tumayo si Serenity at iniligpit ang mga barbie dolls na hawak niya. Napailing nalang ko. She’s so fond of Chichi.

Hindi naman siguro totoo ang panaginip niya.

Si Forrest naman ay iniligpit na din ang building blocks. I helped them put the bags in the right corner.

“Let’s change your clothes first okay?”

“Yes mommy!” Serenity jumped up and down while running habang si Forrest ay nakakapit lang sa kamay ko. Una kong pinalitan si Serenity pagkatapos ay si Forrest.

Hay, I missed dressing my babies up. Mabuti nalang at wala akong trabaho ngayon.

While on our way to the restaurant. “Mommy, mommy! Can we buy that one po oh? Please mommy! Tita Rielle bought it for us when we were in Chicago.” Serenity shouted inside the car. Nasa backseat silang dalawa and looked so cute in their seatbelts.

“Okay okay. You are so hyper baby.” I chuckled pagkatapos ay humanap ako ng pwedeng makaparking saglit.

We bought the cotton candy she wanted and Forrest just shook his head when I offered him. I don’t know but Forrest is a little bit weird today. Sobrang tahimik.

Pagkadating namin sa parking lot ng restaurant ko, una akong bumaba pagkatapos ay pinababa sila. I held both of their hands. Nakita kong ubos na ang cotton candy ni Serenity kaya ay pinisil ko nalang ang pisngi niya. So cute.

Malaki ang mga ngiti namin papasok sa restaurant nang bigla akong naestatwa sa nakita.

Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig nang nakita si Thaeus na nagseserve sa mga customer.

Nilapitan kami ni Chichi nang nakita ako, si Thaeus ay nakatalikod pa rin sa amin.

“M-ma’am pasensya na, nagpumilit kasi nung nakita niyang nahihirapan kami sa pagseserve, nagdeliver kasi si Renzo eh.” Crap.

I was still holding Serenity and Forrest’s hands. Hindi pa nila nakikita ang mukha ng ama nila.

Nangatog ang tuhod ko nang humarap na ito sa amin with a smile on his face but it faded when he saw the two children I was with.

“Mommy! The waiter looks like Forrest po oh! He was the man I saw in my dreams!” nanlamig ako sa sigaw ni Serenity nang nakita niya si Thaeus.

I am so fucked up.
