With a heavy heart, lumabas na ako ng bahay para pumasok sa trabaho. Sumakay ako ng taxi at bumaba sa Wendy's.

While walking towards the restaurant, someone suddenly hugged me from behind. I was about to shout when....

"Sweetheart, I miss you. So damn much." His voice was so husky that I felt cold. Nagbabantang umagos ang mga luha sa aking mata.

Tinampal ko ang kanyang kamay at kumawala.

I looked at him angrily and he was shocked.

"You left me for days and now babalik ka without explanation?! You don't know how you messed up my mind!" malalate na naman ako nito.

He reached for my elbows pero lumayo ako. "It was a business trip, sweetheart." By the tone of his voice, parang wala na siyang dapat ipaliwanag pa.

"I don't believe you! Please, you said you want me, but what if I am not the one you need?" nasasaktan na ako. I am not even sure if he really likes me. It was like an impossible dream for him to be serious about me.

"Then what about me, sweetheart? I have risked something without making sure if you even care about me. Hell, I bet you don't even think of me at all..." his eyes looked so weary.

"There is never a moment I am not thinking of you! You messed up my mind, Thaeus! You made me feel..... loved." Mahina ko nang nasambit ang panghuling salita.

He got a hold of my arms and he suddenly hugged me. Tears were flowing from eyes. Frustrated sa kaalamang wala akong karapatang pagbawalan siya.

"Fvck, wait here for a sec sweetheart." Aalis na naman siya. "I'll tell your manager you're gonna take a break for a week. I'll make up to you. " Pipigilan ko sana siya pero he had this look na hindi na siya mapipigilan. I nodded and fixed my face.

He went inside the Wendy's and I saw how people took out their phones and took a picture of him.

Who wouldn't? A billionaire roaming around the streets?

Pagkalabas niya ay tinitigan ko kung paano siya maglakad. Like a model. So powerful and his body is screaming of ruthlessness.

"Sweetheart, magpaalam tayo sa mama mo." He led me to his car and when I entered, I saw bouqet of flowers. "I uh...... am courting you right?"he scratched his head. He is so.... Cute.

Pagkarating namin sa bahay, akala ko ay aalis na siya pero nagulat ako nang bumaba din siya at sumabay sa akin sa paglalakad.

"I'll ask for her permission, sweetheart."He smiled at me and held my hand. When we entered the house I saw mama watching tv.

"M-ma. " she turned her head and had a smile on her face, but it grow bigger when he saw that I'm with someone.

"Ma, si Thaeus nga pala." Lumapit kami kay mama at nagmano. I looked at Thaeus and he was awkwardly swaying back and forth.

"Hi, Ma'am. Uh.... I'm here to ask your pe-"hindi siya nakatapos nang pagsasalita.

"Mangliligaw ka sa anak ko? Ayos na ayos lang sa akin. Eh, matagal na yung huli niyang boypren kaya masaya akong nandito ka." We sat down on our sofa.

"Ma, magpapaalam sana ako. Aalis kasi kami..... uhm for a week?"I was hesitant to ask.

"I'll provide two nurses and two maids, sweetheart. Don't worry." Nanlaki ang mata ko.

"No, a-" aayawan ko sana kaso...

"Anak! Wag mo nang tanggihan, para may kasama naman ako dito." Mama smiled so widely. I don't like it. I feel like she's like this because Thaeus looks rich.

I excused myself para mag impake ng damit. Damn, everywhere he goes, palagi nalang akong pumapayag. Bakit ba kasi ang dali niya akong makuha? I want to act hard to get but boy he is so irresistable.

They were laughing when I got back, Thaeus looked so huge in our sofa, the room is lit up by his powerful aura and I don't know how could he be so handsome.

Nagpaalam na kami and Thaeus called someone, it looks like yung mga nurse.

We were inside the car when he started to interrogate me.

"Now sweetheart, could you kindly tell me who the hell is your first boyfriend?" he smirked but looked pissed. Ano bang problema niya?

"I don't want to talk about it, he cheated on me." I looked away, remembering how I got broken because of that guy.

"What's his name?"

"Ayoko, baka sirain mo pa ang kompanya nila." I joked and he laughed.

"You know me so well."

"Nga pala, where are we going?"kanina pa kami nagdadrive eh.

"To Maldives."

"Ah Maldives......."

Wait....Maldives?!

"Ano?!"he looked at me and he bursted laughing. "Are you kidding me?! Bakit hindi mo sinabi?! I didn't even bring my passport!"

He held my hand and caresses it with his thumb. "Relax sweetheart, private plane ang gagamitin natin." He brought my hand to his lips and kissed it. This has been a habit of his. And I....... like it.
