《The Spanish teacher (gxg)》Chapter 21

I woke up from someone opening the door to my bedroom. My whole body was hot from the nightmare i just had. Still in a sleepy state i looked up to the door. I could see her beautiful green eyes because of the dim light i had on standing in the doorway.
"Are you okay? I heard you scream." Ava said. I hid my face in the pillow. "I'm sorry, a nightmare." I said, embarrassed from what she had heard.
"Oh sweet girl." She walked over to my bed and removed the covers from my body. She laid her body down next to me on my bed and covered us both with my sheets. "I'll keep you safe."
She tucked my hair behind my ears and softly started stroking my cheeks. I blushed at her touch, still getting butterflies every time she was near me.
I was sleepy and slowly drifted off back to sleep. I buried my face in her chest. "Sweet dreams." She kissed me softly next to my mouth. She put her arms around me and before i knew it i was sound asleep.
I had woken up from the front door slamming shut. I rubbed my eyes and confusingly looked around me. No Ava. I got out of bed and walked up to the living room. Still no Ava. Did i dream her being here?
I grabbed my phone from my nightstand.
A: I have a meeting at school, i'll see you there x
I sighed thinking about our kiss last night. I wanted to talk to her about it before heading to school but she had already left. I wasn't sure if i should talk to her about it or if i should just let it slide. I just didn't want her to regret it.
I got ready and texted David if he wanted to go to school together. I hadn't been to school in a while and i was kinda nervous to go alone, and i hadn't talked to David in a while so i really wanted to see him.
R: Wanna ride to school together? I can come pick you up in 30?
I got in the shower, dressed up and walked up to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I didn't have food at home so i ate some left over sushi. Not the best thing to eat for breakfast but it would do.
My phone lit up.
D: Yes! See you in a bit x
I smiled. I missed David. I wanted to tell him about the kiss last night but i wasn't sure if that's a good idea.

I pulled up to Davids house. I honked 2 times to let him know i was there. I couldn't be bothered to walk up to the door. Before i could even blink he was already sat next to me in the passenger seat
My mouth formed a huge smile. "Hi stranger." I said to him while pulling him in for a hug. "Hi beautiful girl."
"So how have you been?" He asked me.
I grinned. "Perfect."
"Really?"
"A certain someone has made everything better."
He raised his right eyebrow. "Jade?"
"No." I chuckled. "Think again."
"You're not gonna tell me it's our teacher right?"
I laughed. "Well, sorry to disappoint you but it's her."
"No waaaaay." He yelled. "Spill the tea right now!"
I was hesitant. Should i tell him? I trusted him so i knew he wouldn't tell.
"Okay but you have to promise you won't tell anyone." I held up my pinky, waiting for his to lock with mine.
"I promise, now tell me."
I couldn't help but smile. "We kissed."
David's mouth dropped to the floor. "You're lying! No way that happened. Did you really?" He asked, his face still in disbelieve.
"Pinky promise we did." I said
"Oh my god, you're living the dream girl. Making out with your teacher? When is she gonna top the living shit out of you?"
I bursted out laughing at his comment. "Who said i'm not a top?"
He rolled his eyes. "You scream bottom." I chuckled. "That secret will stay between us."
We arrived at school the same time as Sam. I got out of my car and immediately ran up to her.
"Sammie!" I swung my arms around her neck jumping into her to give her a hug. She laughed and wrapped her hands around my waist. "Hi baby, i've missed you."
The three of us walked to our math class. I was dreading school and on top of that i hated math. I just sucked so bad at it.
I didn't hear a single thing the teacher had said. All i could think about was Ms Lopez. What if she regretted kissing me? Maybe i had pushed her too hard, maybe she didn't actually want to kiss me.
I sighed, i was spiraling and i knew i had to stop before i would go crazy.
Sam pinched me in my arm. "Have you even tried to pay attention?" She asked in a funny way. "Sure we're talking about numbers and stuff." I chuckled.

"Pay attention Sam and Rachel." The teacher said. I rolled my eyes and turned my focus back to him, trying to understand what he was explaining.
The day went by slowly. I was mostly zoning out thinking about anything but school. I missed my parents. I hadn't talked to them in over a year and something told me i should reach out to them.
We had one class left. Spanish. I got nervous walking up to her class, not knowing how to act.
"Excited to see your loooover?" David asked in a teasing way. I slightly pushed him. "Shut up." I said. "I'm nervous."
He laughed. "Don't be. She kissed you." I sighed. "You're right."
We walked in to the classroom and our eyes immediately met. I noticed straight away that she was still wearing the t-shirt i had given her to sleep in, but she styled it making it look rather fashionable.
"Welcome Rachel and David, take a seat." I smiled at her and walked to the back of the class.
"Don't you have a t-shirt like that?" David whispered in my ear. "That is my t-shirt." I quietly replied.
He laughed. "Did she-" I cut him off noticing Ms Lopez was about to start her lesson. "I'll tell you after class." I hissed back at him.
Ms Lopez started talking but all i could do was watch her as she elegantly swayed her hips when she walked. It wasn't noticeable if you didn't focus on it, but of course i did. Her hair perfectly fell over her shoulders, her olive green eyes sparkled when she talked and the sun fell perfectly on her face making her skin glow and her nose ring shine.
I traced my lips with my fingers. Looking at her made me think of our kiss. As i was staring at her, she looked me right in the eyes, holding eye contact for a solid 10 seconds before returning her gaze back to the classroom.
I was hoping she would hold me back after class to talk. I was pretty sure she was going to.
"The sexual tension between you guys is undeniable." David said quietly. I chuckled. "Oh now you're just making things up, we haven't even said a word to eachother."
Class came to an end and the room slowly got empty. I was waiting for Ms Lopez to say something to me but she still hadn't. I walked past her desk. "Goodbye, miss." I said, hoping for something. "Goodbye Rachel." She said and immediately turned her focus back to the paperwork on her desk.
I was confused as to why she didn't try to talk to me. Did i scare her off?
I decided to walk back to the classroom once everyone had left. "Wait for me outside." I told David. " I have to quickly ask Ms Lopez something." He winked and i made my way back to Ms Lopez her classroom.
"Hey." I said, standing in the doorway.
"Hi." She said, her eyes still set on her desk.
"Can we talk?" I asked. "You've been acting weird today."
She still didn't look at me. "Not right now."
I was confused and hurt by the way she acted. Why couldn't she just look at me, or talk to me?
"Why won't you look at me." I asked
She bit on her pencil. She looked nervous. She turned her face sideways, her glasses still on the tip of her nose. "Please just leave."
A million things went through my head. How could she just treat me like this after kissing me last night? I was mad and hurt, almost instantly regretting ever telling her how i felt. I felt embarrassed and ashamed. I scared her away and that sucked but she had no right to treat me like this.
"You're no better than everyone else." I scoffed while slamming the door shut.
I was fighting back the tears, i didn't want to cry over this, i should've known better than to get involved with a teacher, but it still hurt. It hurt because she seemed so perfect and she seemed to actually care for me, but i guess i was delusional.
I dried my tears and walked outside to meet David.
"I'm back." I said to him while lighting up a cigarette. I sat down next to him and rested my head in the palm of my hand.
"What's wrong?" David asked.
I sighed. "Ava doesn't want to talk to me, i think i scared her off."
He raised his eyebrow. "Who is Ava, is that Ms Lopez her name?"
"Oh right, yes it is."
"Pretty." He said.
I looked over at him. "Hey, you're supposed to hate her with me right now."
"Ah, of course. Ugly."
I laughed. "I hate you."
"So let's forget about her for now. Wanna get drinks?"
"Hell yeah." I said.
We both got up and walked to the car. I couldn't wait to forget about her.
