Spanish class went by slowly. I was too tired to properly focus on what my new teacher said and I think I spent the whole class just staring at her.

Never in my life had I seen someone as beautiful as her. The way her hand slightly touched her lip when she was thinking. How she licks her fingers before flipping a page. The way she's playing with her hair while grading papers. But what really gets me is when she puts her glasses on the tip of her nose and looks over to the classroom. It's been only 15 minutes and I've already studied every part of her.

"Miss. Young, any idea what the answer is?" I quickly sat up and looked her straight in the eyes. I started to feel my cheeks burn. I had no clue what she was talking about.

"I'm sorry miss, I wasn't paying attention." David, who sat next to me, started giggling. I softly threw him an elbow. "Shut up." I whispered.

"Rachel. You were fifteen minutes late and you don't even seem to care enough to pay attention. I don't tolerate this kind of behavior. You can stay for detention after your last class." She stared at me for at least 10 seconds before I could finally let some words out again.

"I'm sorry." Everyone was staring at me. I've never wanted to disappear so badly.

Ms. Lopez gave me one last look and then continued her class. She asked David to answer the question and of course he gave the perfect answer. I rolled my eyes at him and he stuck his tongue out.

"That worked out well, didn't it." He grinningly said.

I made a pouty face. "You know how tired I am, I really can't concentrate."

"As if." He laughingly replied. "You were staring at the teacher the whole time."

"Shut your face!" I said maybe a little too loud. I noticed that Ms. Lopez was looking over at us. I could only hope she didn't overhear what David said.

"Don't worry, she's fit, I get it." I rolled my eyes and sat back on my chair. I got even more tired now and just closed my eyes for a bit. I already got detention so this won't hurt. I dozed off.
