True P.O.V

Groggy. That is how I currently felt. I could tell it was still night time, based on the fact that light was not shining through the bullet-proof glass windows of Alister bedroom. I instantly knew I didn't want to wake up yet. It wasn't unusual for me to wake up in the middle of the night, in fact, it was more common that I truly think it is in my head. I usually like to deny that I can stay up for hours on end just staring at the ceiling in a lost thought type of way. I didn't like to think about the things that happen in the nightly time of the night, mainly because I'd remember that I have really bad nightmares on occasion. Which is why I hate thinking about the night. Because I associate it with the nightmares.

I seriously hate the nightmares. A large majority of the nightmares I get are simply flashbacks from my past, things I rather forget than remember and no matter how hard I try to make them go away, they remain. It isn't like I can simply ask my mind if it would nicely stop with the bullshit, then again, if I could, I would have by now, simple as that.

I look to my left when my eyes completely adjust, and seeing Alister laying on his back with his mouth open, though funny looking, was refreshing. It made me feel better to have someone, especially my romantic partner, to be laying beside me through the night. Made me feel less like, like a one night stand and more like a boyfriend. I smile as I lean up and kiss Alister's forehead, before getting up since I needed to use the restroom and get a quick drink of water. I gently get out bed to avoid waking Alister.

I hear my feet patter against the ground as I walk into Alister's master bathroom, closing the door before flicking the lights on since Alister was really light sensitive, especially at night. I smile as I think about my boyfriend. He truly was something. I didn't think that in my life that I would be able to find someone as great as Alister, and yet I have. I glance around his bathroom again, before doing what I came in here to do. Once I'm finished with what I went in there to do, I turn the lights off before walking back into the master bathroom and hurry towards the master bedrooms door.

I walk down the stair case and hurry into the kitchen, flicking it's lights on while I'm at it, not concerned about waking anybody up since Kyle and Luke was staying the night with Karen, Kyle had been complaining about missing his sisters and Luke wasn't going to deny him, since he loves Kyle. I found their relationship to both be a goal and sickening. I know I wanted a relationship just like that, to be that close to someone. I have a feeling Alister will be the person I need. It made me feel warm inside to know that I had someone that I could hopefully make my forever person.

I walk over to the fridge, opening it to grab a bottle of water, and I was about to grab one when I heard a noise, a noise that I paused to for a single moment before continuing on like I never heard it. It wasn't Alister, I knew that much, his steps are much louder, heavier. I didn't know who it was but since me and Alister were the only ones inside the house and since Alister had been dead asleep when I left it could only mean one thing.

Someone was inside the house. Someone who shouldn't be here.

I close the fridge, and calmly walked over the island, which had a bowl of fruit sitting on it, and a pad of paper doodled on by Kyle. It was impossible to tell what was written on so I grabbed the pen, and tapped it, a quietly wrote,

Someones in the house'

I put the pen down, before taking a big gulp of the water. I would be lying if I said I wasn't alittle afraid, I was terrifed of whoever was in the house, regardless of know who it is or not, mainly because they managed to bypass the security around the place, higher security around the place. If someone was able to break through the security than it could only mean a couple of things. They were either a person who has really great luck or a mafia person, most likely a enemy, someone I didn't need to or want to face at this moment.

I drink the entire glass trying to drag on time, also hoping that I might catch a glimpse at the sound again to make sure I wasn't imagining it, because I don't need hallucinations added onto my list of issues. I had enough already. I took a good deep breath as I sat the glass in the sink, looking into the window in front of me at my reflection for a second, not taking much note into the details before I sighed and turned back around.

A hand slammed up against my throat, lifting me up from the ground. I make a gasping noise, looking down at whoever was holding me up, small tears from the corner of my eyes, as my hands came up to my neck to try and yank the hands off the person off of my neck. I couldn't breath, the person obviously didn't want me to breath.

I would have yelled out if I could, but I couldn't. I couldn't do anything but gasp for even a small breath but I couldn't get any air, I tried pushing the person and all they did was ignore it. The person was a buff person bigger and stronger than me.

I ran out of breath and small black dots began to fill my vision and the urge to fight the person was stolen by the need to fall asleep.

The end.
