True P.O.V

I walked into the cafeteria, hearing other children eating and socializing, I walked all the way across the room, rubbing one of my arms attempting to comfort myself. I walked outside, where very few people were eating since it was getting pretty cold. Fall was slowing turning to Winter, leaves were already littering the ground with its colorful array of orange, green, red, and yellow colors.

I walk over to a tree and sit underneath it. I pull my headphones out and put them in my ears, music that was playing earlier continued.

"Ooh, ooh, ooh, the reason I hold on. ooh, ooh, ooh, 'cause I need this hole gone. Funny you're the broken on but I'm the only one who needed saving."

I shiver in the cold wind, as I notice that everyone else is already gone back inside, but I make no move to leave my spot on the floor.

I rest my head against the bark of the tree, making me feel better ever so slightly.

"'Cause when you've never seen the light, it's hard to know which one of us is caving."

I watch the minutes tick by before I pulled myself up and walked off the school campus not feeling like continuing with the day, not that anyone is going to notice that I left school either, most teachers forget I'm in their class until after I come back the next day and say I was absent.

"Not really sure how to feel about it, something in the way you move. Make's me feel like I can't live without you, it takes me all the way, I want you stay."

I continue to walk, unconsciously crying. The streets were empty, hardly any cars driving by, not that only one would stop for a blonde haired kid.

I pull the earbuds out of my ears, not wanting to listen to the music anymore.

I walk home, not having anywhere else to go.

I didn't even look to see if my parents were home, I simply didn't care.

I pull my key from my pocket, going in the front door, something I never do, or I hardly do.

I wish I had checked cause when I walk into the house, I found my mother and father talking to the one and only, Alister Clenevence.

I was hoping my parents wouldn't notice me, but of course, they did. My mother looked surprised to see me home so early, cause it was 1:14, that turned into a glare in my direction.

My father, however, had a blank face the whole time, but his eyes were quickly filling with anger.

My mom stood up walking really close to me, my eyes dropped to the ground. She stopped in front of me, grabbing my chin ruffly, I winced slightly.

"Why," She hissed at me. "Are you home early?! You should be at school!!!" She started getting louder, though it wasn't necessary for her to yell at me about it, I would have been just as afraid if she had whispered it to me.

I didn't answer, I knew I wasn't supposed to, she wasn't expecting an answer either, I was told to never talk if dad was meeting with someone, especially if they were 'important' even my younger siblings had these rules. 'Important' people were usually in the mafia or worked for/with dad and his trading gun business.

And because I didn't answer, she backhanded me across the face. My face turned to the side. From the corner of my eye, I saw Alister's face register a moment of complete shock before he quickly covered it up.

"Get to your room!" She said pushing me towards the stairs with a punch of her fist. "Your father and I will discuss you leaving school later!" My mother snapped at me, and I rushed out of the room quickly not wanting to face my mother and FATHER'S wrath, especially in front of Alister, though I couldn't tell you why it bothers me so much for him to see mine at my lowest moment.

I rush into my small ass closet-sized room.

I close the door behind me, I rush over to my very small bed. I climb onto it and look out my small, locked, prison-like window and watched the tree's that had leaves ruffle in the wind.

I pull my phone out of my pocket and turn the music on out-loud but on low so if someone walked by they wouldn't hear it.

"Feels like we're edge right now I wish that I could say I'm proud, I'm sorry that I let you down, let you down."

"All these voices in my head get loud, I wish that I could shut them out, I'm sorry that I let you down."

"Let you down."

I nod my head to the beat of NF's music as it blared quietly out my phone, my head leaning against my wall, my eyes shooting out the window, my thoughts on to what my punishment will be when my father's guest leaves.

Alister P.O.V

I drove my expensive car, Zenvo ST1. I got it last month as a gift for not killing one of my business partners twin daughter, he'd gone against me, and his children nearly paid the price.

I loved it's almost toothpaste-like color, but I hardly ever drove any car that wasn't black or silver, but I was simply going to discuss something very small and nearly unimportant with Jamion Night, Blondie's dad.

I drove down Mionin Avenue, where the more expensive houses were, and the rich people lived.

I finally noticed the house I knew Jamion lived it and wasn't surprised. It was a very large house, smaller than mine, but large enough, though I expected bigger for a family as large as Jamions, especially with five kids.

Surprisingly I found myself wondering which room was True's, how big it was, how he styled it.

I'd never concerned myself with thoughts like these, then again, I've never felt this attracted to another person before in my life so, it was all new to me.

I pull my expensive car into the driveway and got out of the car, whipping my shades off. I fling my shades into the car, yanking the keys out and turning on my security and defense on. I refused to have this car taken, the last time someone took my car, they lost both legs and a lifetime in prison. I don't allow my cars to be taken. I loved them too much to have them be taken from me like anyone else, who would simply inform they're insurance and hope to be able to get another for nothing at all.

Suckers are what they are.

I walk up to the door, when I stepped onto the porch, Jenna Night opened the door, a smile on her face, this is a woman who lives of her husband's success and money. I knew her type. Originally just in it for the money, then fell in love with him and the money, and probably the large house, and she had gotten tied down by children. It's a natural thing I've seen happen many times, even to my own parents though my mom changed after she had children, it was more about us than the money after me and Luke came into the world.

"You made it!" Jenna said in a loud perky voice, making me wonder why Jamion got married to such a loud voice, then I remember what she looked like.

"Indeed," I say shortly, not really liking this woman, since I never really have, we've met a very few time but ever time I saw her, she seemed to happy for my taste, but if she hardly ever talked and I didn't know she was married I'd have had her in my bed at least once. Thank god, she was married.

She steps over to the side to let me inside her house, and I took the silence as an option to enter the room. I walk into the house, I've surprisingly never been into before today.

I look around the room I walk into, a small hallway that had the stairs at the end of the hallway, on the east side there was a door, and on the west side, there was another door. Jenna led me down the hallway, where I noticed pictures of the kids. Well, every one of her kids except True unless it's a whole family shot, which confused me. Who wouldn't want to put his beautiful face on the wall? I know I would.

I saw Jenna with Jamion and the youngest in many pictures, the twins a lot to, even some of the oldest but only saw True in whole family shots, and even then it was like he wasn't there.

Jenna turned into the eastern door, which led to a living room. Inside that living room sat Jamion. Jamion was about to hit his peak at the age of 43 and already has five children it is an amazing feat for being only 43.

Jamion's hair was still a pure brown color not a grey hair in sight, not that I expected to see one, especially since I saw him a few days ago. Jamion stood when I walk in, shaking my hand before sitting back down and gesturing over to a chair near him as his wife sits next to him on the love seat.

We started talking about the deal, I wanted to buy another half million dollars worth of ammo for AK's and hand pistol guns when the front door was opened and Jamion looked to his wife not sure who it was, I looked at the clock. It was 1:13 so I don't think any of his children should be home yet. The sound of a jacket getting took off and wrapped around a waist filled our ears as we waited for whoever it was to walk by or pop their head in, and when they did I froze when the luscious blonde locks of the boy named True whose eyes widen when he saw who was in the living, and I saw fear creep into his eyes. Why was True afraid? Was it me? No, he was so confident when he picked up Kyle a couple weeks ago.

After Jamion and Jenna snapped out of there frozen moment of True popping in a coming home early Jenna stood up. She calmly walked over to True, and True's eyes cast to the ground.

Jenna stood in front of True, before ruffly grabbing his chin, forcing him to look her in the eye, I heard the small wince, and I knew my eyes were widening.

"Why," Jenna hissed, she actually hissed at him. "Are you home early?! You should be at school!!" She yelled at him. True didn't say anything but kept his eyes downcast, but I saw the fear rising slightly.

Jenna seemed to be more angered by no response and did something no mother should do to their son, she backhanded him.

I heard the dreadful smack across True's face and saw his face tilt to the left, a red mark already appearing already from the painful slap.

"Go to your room!" She yelled at him. "Your father and I will discuss you leaving school later." She snapped at him, and True looked at me slightly before darting off and up the stairs leaving me to wonder one thing.

Did this actually happen often?
