《Married to the Heartless Billionaire》55: Marry Me, Again?

My heart skipped a beat as Avery demanded I waited inside the car and that I didn't peek as she exited the car with a huge grin. The door was opened for me as I saw Avery standing with a single white peony in her hand. Her smile was elegant as she handed me the flower.
She took my hand and tucked it into my side, as I could hear the murmurs of people and the hushes from around the corner. My eyes adjusted to the glistening sun and I focused on how sinister I looked in this dress.
Family and friends surrounded the area as I struggled to pull down my hiked up dress and try but fail to make it look acceptable to Nolan's grandma. I saw thumbs up from the crowd of people along with a photographer telling me to smile. I heard a whirring sound behind me as I turned around and looked straight at it.
"What is happening?", I whispered to her as I saw a drone following us. She didn't say a word as she guided me down the flight of stairs. In the distance there were men and women and I saw the people I would call on a rainy day, but most importantly I saw the end, I saw him.
The sandy staircase extended along the breathtaking beach as I saw the white peonies that were held dearly. The sand picked up in between my toes as I felt the suns rays extend onto me as the sun got ready to set against the shimmery blue water. The sky was different shades of purple along with pink, orange, and blue, clouds of all different shapes and sizes.
Peonies my mother's favorite flower was placed in between my friends and families hands. Avery let me go as Tyler handed me second peony. Avery wrapped her hand through Tyler's and pushed me on my way.
From there it was Alec to Caroline to Tally, I had already felt my hand catching the petals that slowly dropped from my strong grip.
"Thank you for putting up with him, I'm glad you are apart of the family", Nolan's grandpa said as he kissed my forehead and side-hugged my body. I felt apart of one of them, I felt apart of something, I hadn't felt that all of my life.
Each person left me feeling stronger than I had ever felt, they pushed me along as I walked closer to him.
"Kids, don't forget to make them", Nolan's grandma reminded me as she kissed my cheek and handed me the peony. Clay was next as he hugged me and let me feel the fatherly love I hadn't felt since I had grown up.
"You've really changed him for the better, he is so crazy about you.", Clay hugged me and handed the peony into my growing bouquet. I thanked him and saw the last in line. Alison's always inviting arms extended to me as she wrapped them around me.
"I never told you this, but I knew your mom, I knew you. She was a fiery spirit and you remind me so much of her, she craved happiness and with you that was all she needed. She would be so happy, you're doing the same", Alison held my hand tightly as she walked me to Nolan. She kissed my cheek and walked back.
Nolan's eyes peered into my soul as he extended his hand to invite me under the arc and along the black rug that he stood on. I took his hand as he held both and I saw his wonderful eyes. Nolan held my hand sincerely as I saw the dark red box being pulled out of his pant pocket.

He opened the box as I heard gasps from the people watching as the diamond shone through. It was beautiful, shiny and still me. He saw the way I saw the diamond and smiled subtly, he made the right choice. He got down on one knee and kissed my hand softly as he began to profound his love.
"Natalie, I love you with all my heart and I want to give you the wedding you deserve, with me. You cease to amaze me everyday with your wonderful smile and the sound of your laughter. You have a humongous heart, and you treat everyone with the kindness I adore. Natalie Clementé, will you marry me again?", he asked as I gathered myself and felt the tears running down my face.
"Yes", I jumped into his arms as he kissed me roughly and I heard the eruption of claps from everyone watching. He lifted me up and twirled me around as I stared at his wonderful and hazel eyes. His words struck me and I knew that through everything it would always be us in the end. Always, because this man always came back.
"I love you", I whispered as everyone came over to congratulate us. Ever since I had known the real him and all the things I loved about him, I regretted wasting our wedding. It was beautiful, but it wasn't us. This wedding would resemble us and I already knew of a couple people I would love to invite.
The gold band with a single diamond in the middle was more my style than the large diamond that used to weigh down my finger. This ring was more sentimental than any other ring ever was or could be. I found my fingers skim over the smooth diamond placed ever so fragily.
Turns out at Alison's house they had ordered food and confetti to honor our redo wedding, Nolan directed me to the limo as we went away from the family. As we became out of view from the peering family, his hands drifted over my body. His hands fell on my hips as he opened the door to the black limo.
"That was really sweet", he kissed my forehead as I leaned up against him. I was truly excited about this wedding, where we actually loved each other and it wasn't an obligation. It wouldn't feel forced this time it would feel real, and loving and all things magical.
"I just wanted to have something that resembled us and was ours, rather than everyone else planning it", he was completely right. The whole wedding we had, I was worried about meeting him for the first time and missing my mom. The wedding didn't show everyone who I really was and I can say that on that day in that same time and place Nolan and I would both have wanted to be somewhere far away rather than getting married.
I kissed him with all the love I had and his hands disappeared along the seam of my dark red dress. He pulled me closer to him as I wrapped my legs around his torso and admired just how caring he was.
"You're so beautiful", he ran his fingers through my hair as I looked at him seeing my whole entire life. His words made me feel alive and not afraid. His touch made me believe in love and feeling something that not even those three words can explain.
"Did you plan all of this?", I asked him as I adjusted my dress, and fixed my hair, when I saw us pull into the driveway of Alison's house. He tidied up his ruffled suit and tie and I ran his hair with my fingers.

"With some help, I just wanted us to have something we could remember", he fixed his tie and his hair as I had ruffled it up from the drive here. My lipstick was all over his cheek as I grabbed a tad bit of water and wiped it away.
"It couldn't have been more perfect, I loved it", he smiled and I kissed him, wanting to know I appreciated eveything he had done. The car door opened and Alison grabbed my hands and dragged me out of the car.
"We have so much to plan, I was thinking maybe peonies and lilacs, and I was thinking the bridesmaids could wear purple dresses", she rambled on as Nolan caught up to Alison's fast pace. Alison seemed more excited than me and trust me I was excited. I could just imagine Alison's face when Nolan asked for help from her.
"Can I have my wife back, please?", he asked as Alison let go of her strong grip around my hand and walked slowly next to us. I leaned against his buff shoulder feeling his sense of secuirity.
"Maybe let's wait for the wedding planning, we have all the time in the world to plan a perfect day and I don't want to rush it", Nolan said as my cheeks blushed lightly and he kissed my hand softly.
"We do have a lot of time", Alison shrugged as she went inside the house and I saw the rumble of people talking, eating and drinking wine out of taint white glasses.
"Give me a hug", Avery yelled from the house as I ran to feel her warm embrace as I heard the crowd of happiness and laughter fill the open room.
"I'm so excited to go dress shopping", she whispered into my ear as I knew she was the most excited.
All the guests got settled in as they sat around the table sharing memories and moments. Nolan and I sat next to each other as we sat at the dinner table in front of loved ones.
"Thank you all for coming to celebrate Natalie and I, she really has changed my life and I love her to death", he clanged his glass of apple cider against a spoon as he kissed my raised hand. I kissed his soft lips, softly and held his hand under the table.
That night we made new memories as we laughed and played games around the table. The clock neared 12, when everyone began heading home for a long and tiring day.
"Stay here", Alison begged us for the 200th time as Nolan listened to her begging as he waited for her to stop to agree. His hands rested on my stomach as I was held against him.
"Mom, I love you, but we have to get home", he kissed her cheek as he went to grab my shoes as she hugged me softly. He slipped the strappy heels on my swollen feet and grabbed his own shoes.
"Goodnight mom, Avery do you want a ride?", he asked as I grabbed his wallet and keys and got ready to leave.
"Ooh yes, please", she said drunkenly as she began hopping to the door to put her heels on. We said goodbye to Clay and Alison and helped Avery to the car.
Avery drunkenly sat up in the middle seat as she asked us random questions and admired our relationship.
"You guys are so cute together", she said as I made sure her seatbelt was strapped in and Nolan began driving towards the highway. His hand interlocked with mine, he kissed my hand softly.
"Tyler is so hot,but he wants to take it slow say- saying it'll be easier for me if I do", she ranted on as I saw Nolan roll his eyes in the corner of my eye. Avery on the other hand was playing with her hair pulling each strand apart and doting on her drunken thoughts.
"I would really not like to hear about how my sister and best friend are doing it", he said in disgustence.
"That's the thing we are not doing it, like at all", she said as it sounded so foreign coming from her. Little did she know we hadn't done it yet and we had something special. The rest of the ride to Avery's apartment was silent, but our hands held on tightly as Avery went to sleep.
We had said goodbye to Avery and made it to our home. We cuddled up in bed as I got the magazines I had secretly been collecting. They all had beautiful women in dresses of different colors, sizes, and shapes. They held beautiful bouquets as they stood at the beach or in a church.
"What's this?", Nolan held up the magazine to the moonlight that shined in while he wrapped his arms around my back. My face turned a rosy red as I heard a laugh comng from Nolan.
"Give it back", I shouted as he went running off while reading the magazine and probably making fun of me. I chased after him in hopes he wouldn't open the magazine to find ouur wedding already planned, but when he stopped running I knew he opened it. What can I say, I have a lot of free time these days.
"You don't strike me as the girl who planned her whole wedding in a magazine.", he said suprised as I grabbed the folded magazine from his hands. I unfolded it and placed it in my hiding spot. Nolan sat on the bed when I joined him.
"I was just bored, okay", I said embarresed as I pushed my body under the comforters feeling the comforting warmth. He faced me as I saw the sincerity in his hazel eyes.
"No, babe, I think it's cute. It gets me excited that you've been thinking about this over time", his fingers interlocked with mine as I glanced over at his face to check if he was being serious or just messing with me.
"Can I see our future wedding?", he asked as I gleamed up at him and smiled. He really did seem curios. I pushed the comforter away and dug the white magazine out from my closet and brought it back to bed.
He grabbed our special bottle of champagne with a bowl of fruit as I went back into bed.
I explained to him each little sketch and arrow to the best I could. He seemed intrigued as i pointed and he shared his thoughts as welll. We fell asleep to the images of different venues that played on the screen. These next few months would be nothing but hectic.
