He extended his hand to take me to the room as I looked up at him, cautious and afraid.

"Can we talk?", he asked again as Caroline swooped in and took the sleeping Leah away on her shoulder and it was just me and him, alone at last.

He escorted me to his office as he reached for my hand, which I immediately put down to my side. We were good, we were strong.

"I didn't kiss her, I promise", he swore as soon as the doors shut and the curtains closed to keep out peering eyes. He took my hands in his as he looked sincerely at me.

"I want to believe you, I do", I told him as his hands rubbed my cheek as a single tear fell down. He wiped away as I peered into his eyes for a sign, for anything.

"Then, believe me, I didn't want her here in the first place. Can I explain it to you?", he guided me towards the coach and I sat down on the same couch we had snuggled up on the first time I had been here.

"She applied for your job, I had declined knowing her, but Nova insisted and so did my mom, so I gave her a real interview and at the end, I told her I wasn't interested and thanked her for her time, I was shaking hands with her when she kissed me. I pushed her back and she left", it had made sense, and all along I had been worried about him.

"I'm sorry", I told him knowing he deserved an apology. I assumed without proof and I accused him of something I couldn't even imagine him doing.

"Don't apologize, I should've said no even after everyone insisted", he told me as he wrapped his arms around me and I held his sweet hands.

"She's just an attention thirst, trust me it's been that way since kids", he explained as he played with the charm bracelet that fit tight against my wrist.

"I want you to be happy, and I trust you to do the right thing, and if you don't want to talk to her or if you do, I will love you no matter what", I told him using my very supportive words, he kissed my forehead as he held me tightly.

"Babe, you are the one that makes me happy", he kissed my lips softly as I smiled at his warm gesture.

"We brought you something", I took his hand and interlocked it with mine, as it was just a habit. I pulled him along to find the fridge as I opened the door Leah was there sleeping on the couch bed.

"She fell asleep while we were waiting", I sat next to her and ruffled her hair. softly as Nolan came and sat next to me. I pointed to the fridge as he opened to find two ice creams that had melted but been frozen back into shape.

"Let me have a bite of yours", he whispered as I let him take a massive chunk of ice cream.

"I thought you meant a tiny bite", I whispered angrily as he laughed at my tone.

"Sharing is caring, sweetie", he kissed my cheek as he left an ice cream slobber over my cheek and he licked it off.

Nolan carried a sleepy Leah down into the car, and we said bye. He had work to finish up so he stayed while Leah and I went back to the house. I carried her into the house and rested her on our makeshift bed.

I finished up my class and assignments for my journal course, just as Nolan came home. I closed my laptop as I smelt the aroma of Chinese food and manly hands rub against my back.

He bent over and kissed me as I twisted my head, so I was facing him. He took my hand as he pulled me along with him to the kitchen. He put the food down and then kissed me passionately.

"Darling, how was your day?", He asked, pushing me up against the wall holding me tightly. I smelt his breath of fresh coffee and his Armani perfume that lingered his body.

"Perfect, how was yours?", I asked him as he let go of me and began unraveling all the mass amounts of food he bought.

"I got ice cream and a bunch of kisses today, so my day is perfect", he said as he grabbed us plates and smiled at me as finally, Leah came in all sleepy and just wanting a veggie roll.

"I had a dream about this-", Leah went on and on about her dream with a tiger, I must say it was fascinating. Nolan and I listened all throughout dinner and it finally ended with her being the tooth fairy. After dinner, I started washing up the plates as Nolan put away all the food we didn't eat.

"Can we watch a movie?", Leah asked as I scanned the clock, noticing it was 2 hours till her bedtime and an hour till her mom and dad called.

"I'll make a bag of popcorn", Nolan said as Leah shouted a joyous 'yes' and he grabbed a bag of popcorn from the pantry.

"Save me a spot next to you, then you and I can play around while we watch", he whispered seductively in my ear as I gave him a surprised look.

"There will be no playing around, it's a family movie", I argued with him as he put the deflated bag of cornels into the microwave and put it for a couple of minutes.

"Fine", he pouted and grabbed a bowl, and emptied his freshly popped popcorn. I sat next to Leah, as he sat behind me and I already knew what he was doing just as the Disney symbol appeared along with the screen. His hand pulled me up onto his lap as he slipped a finger inside my loose fitted shorts. I reached for his fingers careful to not make a noise to disturb Leah.

"You are sick", I told him as he began to put his fingers back into my shorts as I pulled them out.

Half of the movie went on like this as Nolan begged me to go to the bathroom with him, as I heavily declined. His fingers slipped inside my underwear just as the phone began ringing. I gladly hopped off of Nolan and went to answer it.

"Hello", I picked up the home phone as Nolan began making faces at me and I smiled at his attempt.

"Natalie, it's Alison and Clay, hows everything going over there?", they asked as I surveyed the clock and realized it was exactly their time to call Leah to check up on her.

"Leah's doing great, she finished her homework, we went out for lunch and had ice cream. Now we're just watching a movie", I told her as I heard giggles from Alison.

"That's good, actually one of her friends called to say they could have a sleepover tomorrow and I got a call from my mom, telling me to grab my kid so that you two could make some great-grandbabies", I chuckled at her last statement. I deeply remembered when Nolan's grandparents came up to us asking for the next generation of their family to start.

"I do remember that, but I assure you it'll be a while before we start even discussing children", I whispered to her hoping Nolan wouldn't hear, for some reason he was so good with children, yet he didn't seem to want any of his own.

"Actually we are getting older I would be thrilled for grandchildren, babies are adorable. Speaking of babies can I talk to my little girl?", she asked as I paused the movie and handed the phone to Leah as she went walking around the house.

"What did my mom say?", he asked. I took a seat next to him as he snuggled up against me.

"Just how we're doing", I turned around and hugged him as a smiling Leah handed the phone to Nolan. She grabbed the remote and sat comfortably back on the couch and pressed play.

Nolan talked to his mother quietly as I tried to focus on the movie, but my eyelids just wouldn't stay open.

My blurry eyes opened to the black flashing white screen flickering on and off. I looked around as I saw Nolan had fallen asleep under me and Leah was fast asleep on the couch wrapped in a blanket.

I switched off the tv and untucked Leah as she grabbed back for the blanket, I carried her upstairs to her room and tucked her in and came back down.

I grabbed Nolan's arm in an attempt to wake him up, but he was just too heavy.

I resorted to one last thing as my eyes began getting tired. I went to his feet as they waited for me to tickle them. I ran my fingers up and down his feet as he started squirming.

"What the fuck?", he got up and began looking around as I let out a hefty laugh.

"You weren't getting up what was I supposed to do", I laughed as Nolan just looked tired and annoyed.

"Just don't tickle my feet", I extended my hand to him as I pulled him up.

"Yes sir", I said as he flicked off all the lights and I waited by the railings.

"God, you're so submissive", he smacked my ass, making me jump as I ran up the stairs and he followed. He caught up with me as we made it into the room, he kissed me roughly as he pushed me onto the bed.

My eyes to the sound of a shower taking place, I stretched my hands knowing I had the bed to myself. The shower turned off as Nolan came out of the bathroom dinner dripping wet and a towel hanging at his hips.

"I was trying not to wake you, sorry", he apologized as he came to my bedside as I sat up and he kissed me softly letting some of the water droplets fall onto my forehead.

"I wouldn't have been able to see you before you left for work", I got up on my knees and kissed him. His hair was wet as I ran my fingers through it.

"Why don't I grab a towel for your hair", I got up to grab a towel as Nolan pushed me back down.

"You go back to sleep, I can take care of my hair", he ordered as I stayed in bed feeling helpless.

"I'm awake already, you get dressed and I can dry your hair", I told him as he allowed it and went to grab his clothes.

"I promise I won't look", I told him laughing as he smiled back and kissed my forehead.

"Look all you want", he told me as I ran the towel across his soaking wet hair. He changed into his pants as I closed my eyes, but the second he was done my eyes explored his bareback.

"I love you", I wrapped my hands around his back as he turned around and smiled softly.

"I love you too", he kissed my forehead softly as I remembered our plans for today.

"Avery wants to have a small get together here at the house", he looked suspicious as I smiled very largely, hoping he would say yes.

"Is that why you said you love me?", he asked as I followed him to the room and climbed back into bed.

"No, I really do love you", I told him as he laced up his shoes. He grabbed the files he needed and slipped them into his briefcase.

"And Leah", he asked as he put on his slick black suit jacket and fixed the edges to his perfection.

"Leah's going to a friends for the night, Alison cleared it", I told him as he seemed satisfied.

"Should I grab some wine or beers on the way home?", he asked as he was about to leave the room and came back to kiss me on the forehead.

"Avery volunteered to grab everything, but thank you for asking, oh and I invited Caroline", Nolan looked disappointed as he was the one enforcing this rule where you had to be very professional with your employees, otherwise they won't respect you.

"She's new to the city and doesn't have a lot of friends", I told him as he knew how hard it was to start out fresh.

"Maybe grab us some root beer for the both of us", he laughed as I told him I wouldn't be drinking. Bad things happened when I drank too much. He kissed my forehead and took off.

"Good morning", Leah called from the stairs as she wiped her eyes and made her way towards the table as an array of pancakes from yesterday and fresh fruit was displayed.

"You made these?", she asked as she bit into these and I could tell she was surprised.

"I wish I did, I just microwaved them from yesterday", I told her as she seemed pleased knowing I could microwave something. I had finished my class already considering it was online and had made my own blog, as a way to expand my career and dip my toes into the many different ways to write publicly.

"You have to finish your homework, and then you're going for a sleepover at your friend's house, make sure to pack", I told her as she left the table laughing upstairs. I put the food away in the fridge as I checked over my blog hitting the refresh button and I already had a viewer.

As time went by, I spent it by figuring out the budget for Nolan's business, his numbers and stock value went up every second.

"I'm ready", Leah said as she pulled her heavy bag down the stairs stuffed with beanie boos and stuffed animals.

"Are you sure you need all of them?", I asked her as she pulled the bag along the floor a fluffy pet would fall out causing her to grab it and jam it back in.

"We're going to play with them", she said as she waited by the door and slipped her shoes on. I tossed back my hair and slipped the closest shoes on as I could tell Leah was annoyed and did not like to wait.

I drove her to her friends and as I pulled into the house it was huge, all of her friends were rich, it made sense. I walked her to the front door as I held the fallen stuffed animals perched in my hand.

"Thank you for dropping Leah off, are you the nanny?", the women asked as I eyed her outfit it was a sundress with perky heels, but her face was caked with makeup and heavy blush.

"No, I'm her brother's wife", I extended my hand silently as she seemed surprised, these women made assumptions left and right.

"Oh Nolan, he's a fine man, you took the last good one", she seemed upset about it as she waved me goodbye and I smiled back, trying to hold back my stifling laugh. I could honestly care less about what some southern, unhappily married, a woman thinks.

I went roaming through my closet to find nanny clothes, anything that would make me look like a nanny, I know I said I didn't care, but as I looked over my clothes I realized I needed some spice. I grabbed a slick black dress that was in the back of my closet. The back was open and the front was low, enough. I stripped my clothes and put on the tight-fitting dress and as I turned around in the mirror the door flung open.

"H..Hi", I said shyly as he eyed my twisting body, he made his way over of me without saying a word.

"You look beautiful", he said twirling me around and I felt loved and amazing as his hands melted my body.

"Should I wear this?", I asked as he laughed at my sudden spurt of shyness and nodded his head furiously.

"I'm going to take this sweaty suit off and jump in a shower so when I come out I can appreciate the beautiful girl in front of me", he made me feel loved like no one else. It still amazed me that he treated me like the only girl in the world.

I went downstairs as I heard the water run. I took out the ingredients, Nolan had asked for and put them out. He came down with his hair soaked and asked me to dry it.

He gave me the salad to do as he made the steak for everyone. I set the table as he finished up everyone's meals and soon after that, the doorbell rang.

"Hey, is Avery here yet?", Tyler asked as I swung the door open, he looked around the room and I shook my head.

"Sorry, but you're welcome to help Nolan in the kitchen, I promise you two will sit next to each other", I told him as he went to help Nolan in the kitchen, staring off by washing his hands.

The doorbell rang again as I opened the door to Alec, who seemed to bring his work with him everywhere.

"I'm sorry about my sister. Tiff can really be a bitch to everyone. I heard about the ball and I am so sorry", he apologized again and again, and it really struck me that her family had to apologize for her actions, instead of her stepping up.

"Don't apologize, she made a mistake, I mean a couple of mistakes, and hopefully she will learn", I told him as he agreed and sat his work on the table and went to the kitchen.

Wes and Tally arrived next hand in hand as they brought extra vodka just in case.

Caroline came next in a yellow sundress, and I could tell she was nervous but happy. She hugged me tightly like she hadn't seen me in quite a while.

"Is everyone here already?, I'm sorry I had to take a cab", she asked peeking her head through the door as I opened the door wider.

"You're on time perfectly, I'll drive you home when it's time to go, I'm really glad you're here", I told her comforting her she stepped inside as we chatted walking towards the kitchen. I specifically reminded her to call Mr. Clementé, Nolan inside the house and she tried to remember.

"Everyone this is Caroline", the crowd turned towards me and it seems she had met a friendly face as Alec looked back at her.

"Hi", she said shyly as Alec and she had eyes on each other, I spotted Nolan's eyes as he just focused on the steak.

After Caroline got situated and had begun a friendly chat with Alec, who seemed to take an interest in her.

Finally, the doorbell rang and I ran to answer it hoping Avery had finally thought to show up to a gathering she wanted in the first place.

"H-", I swung the door open hoping to drag Avery upstairs and tell her what happened yesterday, but no. Tiffany stood there, knowing she wasn't invited inside.

"Did Avery come?", Nolan called from the kitchen as everyone saw the conflict that stood in front of us. She was the last person I wanted to see showing up at my own doorstep.

"Tiff, what the fuck are you doing here?", Alec said embarrassed as Tiff seemed as if she didn't care. She pushed me alongside and made her way inside. Avery followed as I shut the door behind her.

"Avery invited me, so sweet", Tiffany said as she handed me her coat. I hung it up on the coatrack ready to break into that bottle of tequila that was in Avery's hand. Forget about no drinking, as soon as she walked in the door she's already angered, everyone.

"That is not what happened, Alec had told his mom he was coming here and Nova dropped her off to me and Nova asked if I was going and the brat heard me and she said she was going to have a fit, I told her if she comes you'll kick her out, she said she changed or some shit", she pulled me along to the side as I spotted Tiffany showing off her designer items to Caroline, who seemed spaced out.

"I won't kick her out unless Nolan does. He knows her better and he's her friend, not mine. Let him decide just give me my bottle of tequila.", Avery laughed as she brought out her crate of goods and everyone dug in grabbing beers and bottles. I grabbed a bottle of tequila and poured myself a glass.

"Are you kicking her out?", Nolan asked as he leaned against me, as if he liked this drama, for no reason.

"I want her gone, but I won't kick her out, you can though", he looked disappointed by my answer. He pouted as we glanced over at Tiffany flipping over our glass and silverware, checking it it's real and screaming it out to the room. Who does that?

"Please do it", he turned me around facing him and begged me to push her out. I wasn't going to ruin our plans, just cause we have any inconvenience. Besides what's the worst that could happen.

I scanned the dinner table, making sure everyone had enough of their beverage and making sure everything looked up to par. I had made sure to seat everyone according to my plan, allowing Tyler and Avery to talk, and now even Alec and Caroline, who couldn't have hit it off in a better way. Tiffany sat at the head of the table. Wes and Tally mingled next to each other like they always do and Tiffany was the only one left.

"Natalie would you be a dear and refresh my glass, make the ice be a bit melted before you hand it to me", she addressed as she held her glass out for me to take it from her, like a waitress.

"Hello, I'm waiting", she shook her hand as everyone's attention diverted from their conversations to Tiffany's lingering want for her to destroy my life.
