《Married to the Heartless Billionaire》31: A Man Never Stares

"Here's your coffee", I juggled his and mine's coffee as we ran into the office late as usual. This was our day back at work, after our break, and we had to make a good impression and not be late, but Nolan insisted on sleeping 5 extra minutes. He pulled the 'well that's the perks of being your own boss' card as he dozed off to the sound of his blaring alarm clock.
He had the driver drop us, today as I was doing his tie on the way to work and we needed a little us time before the chaos. He dropped us off right next to the elevator as we ran as fast as we could. My face was flustered a pink shade and my smile faded as I drank the steaming coffee.
"Tomorrow I'll wake up any time you want me to, Princess", he said as he kissed my forehead, he treated me like a doll, and I loved it. The elevator pinged as it stopped on floor 7 and workers entered. They peered over at Nolan, as they saw their boss and stopped laughing and became very serious. That's why they say you'll never be friends with the boss, who could fire you at any given moment, or maybe it's just me I don't know.
Though a couple of men stared at me dauntingly, wondering who I was. It would be an office scandal tomorrow and then all of Seattle would know and I'd have a target on my back at all times.
They got off as the elevator closed, I let out a slight wheeze as Nolan looked at me worried.
"They looked at you like you could make or break their life", I said as we walked out of the elevator hand in hand.
"And what makes you so sure that I can't", he said as he set his stuff down in his office as I looked for a desk in the center, a desk at all. I followed him as we walked out to the assistants' desk as she spotted Nolan, she waved and ran up to me.
"Hello, ma'am you must be Mrs. Clementé it's a pleasure to meet you, and you Mr. Clementé I'm your new assistant", she said in a southern accent as I admired her blondy locks and southern charm.
"Thank you, could you show Mrs. Clementé around", he said as he took off leaving me with a new assistant who seemed as if she was a bit lost as well. She scrambled at her desk as she struggled a bit.
"So tell me about yourself", I asked her as she found the document she was looking for and peered up.
"Well, my name is Caroline Swenson and I'm from Texas, a long way away from home", she said as I could see where she had gotten her accent from.
"What made you come out here", I asked her as I was truly curious, she traveled across the country to this state, if her family was from Texas it meant she didn't know anyone here.
"Let's just say I followed a man here and we ended things, but I fell in love with this city, I couldn't leave", she stated as I could understand why she wouldn't leave. This city for me meant freedom and anything could happen here and I loved that thought.
"Oh I'm sorry, but I'm glad you stayed", I said as we came across an office right next to Nolan's as we walked in I saw the nameplate, and there was my name.
"Now what about you?", she asked as I looked around the office, it was very simplistic.

"Well I'm Natalie Lawrence Clementé , I guess I've lived in the city most of my life and I guess I followed a man to this office and I'm staying", I summed up my life leaving the grueling and grieving moments out to make me seem cherry fine.
"You can call me Nat, I hate the formality of it all and I can tell you and I are going to be friends", I said as she nodded and smiled as she waved bye.
"Bye Natalie, it was great to meet you", she waved as she closed the door behind her and I waved and responded with "Bye Caroline".
My computer pinged as it was my new business email, already pinging, Nolan had a job for me finally.
I was to make marketing ads for this week's presentation and collect data about the products that each investor, invests in. I completed half of it to the morning as I went to go check up on Nolan.
I made my way over as Caroline waved over to me asking if we wanted to go for lunch tomorrow, I told her yes as I knocked on Nolan's door.
"Come in, princess", he yelled as I looked around the room for an indication of how he knew it was me. I opened my door slowly as I opened it to Nolan typing away on his computer.
"Hi darling", he made his way over to me embracing me in a hug, and his warm body wrapped around my now heated body.
"How'd you know it was me", I asked as he held my hand and trailed me along to his office chair.
"Security Cameras they work like a charm, we need to get you a long dress", he said as he leaned back and pulled down my lingering dress.
"A man never stares", I stated as he sat down at the chair, and I took a seat on his leveled desk.
"Well, you happen to be mine, so I think I can stare for as long as I want", he spoke possessively as I liked that side of him, the side where he didn't care about anyone else and just showed how loving and caring he truly was.
"Only on paper", he brought me onto his lap and kissed my eager lips, taking his time, but leaving me wanting more.
"What will I do with you, Mrs. Clementé", he brushed back my hair and admired my blushing cheeks as he asked that daunting question.
"Kiss me", I spoke suddenly as his lips enfolded onto mine and we were a soap opera pouring out to the crowd. He picked up his pace as he explored my tongue and he quickly let go as the phone rang, leaving me a poor helpless, kiss less girl. I was sent back to my office with a pout.
Throughout the day I had been thinking, I was married, I had found someone who I hoped would spend the rest of my life with what was I waiting for? He was charming and I was being charmed every second. I had gotten married and yet I was still a virgin.
He said special, but when is it going to be special, I mean he's been wooing me and charming me, but when do I do it with him.
I had so many questions and so little time, I had no clue what to do. Should I ask Avery, maybe I should ask Allison, no that would be too weird, I'd go up to her and be like 'hey Nolan's mom, I'm a virgin and I want to have sex, with your son how' i couldn't do that. Should I get a manual do those things come online.

I was stupid, I was a virgin whose favorite movie was "Fifty Shades of Grey" and all I learned was how to be dominant, they didn't show anything luckily.
Should I ask Nolan, how insecure could I be? I had so many words for myself. I mean don't get me wrong I love the idea of waiting, it's really special but this long and I'm married, god. When is this special day going to come?
A knock snapped me out of my delirious daydream and I looked out the windows to see the sun had already set and it was nighttime.
"Come in", Caroline appeared behind the door as I could tell she was tired, she plopped down on her chair and took her heels off, I showed her my feet which were in fuzzy animal slippers and she laughed. I handed her a pair and told her she could keep it and she thanked me.
"How's the day going", I asked her as I stretched my arms and walked over to her. She stretched as well as she looked beat tired.
"It's going okay I guess, I mean work is tiring, oh your dad left a message saying he wanted you to come by tomorrow, he said it wasn't urgent, to just tell you whenever I see you", my expression slipped as I heard her say the words I hadn't been wanting to hear for all this time, he wanted to meet with me after I had missed our meeting. It wouldn't be good.
"You okay", she saw my color slip from my face as I came back to reality and nodded at her.
"Yeah, just tired", I yawned as I passed it and she yawned we both sat there for a while and then she left leaving me with only the fear for tomorrow.
The phone rang softly as I put the phone up to my ear and heard the sweet voice I had been yearning to hear.
"Hi, my love,", his sweet voice chimed in my ear, as I needed to relax or leave before tomorrow. His soothing voice cleared my mind, as I couldn't let him know what was happening tomorrow.
"Hi, when do we leave this place or do we sleep here too", he laughed a bit as I had heard earlier from his mom, that he lived at the office and only came home when he called it 'necessary'.
"Very funny, I'm guessing my mom told you", he said as I could hear the sleepiness behind his voice and his sleepy tone.
"I'll come to pick you up in 10", he said charming as if I had just put on my sandals and I was checking for him for our date.
"Why don't I just come to your office", I simply asked as I heard the huff in his voice.
"It's the right thing to do, plus I know your feet have been aching all day, so I can carry you", he said as the idea started becoming appealing to me. I imagined his strong hands holding me tight as he would so often lean down and kiss me.
"Okay, see you in ten", I said as I hung up the phone as I imagined the life I had for myself, my dad wasn't going to ruin my life I just needed my sister.
I finished up a file as I logged some numbers a knock came to my door as it opened softly and there was Nolan, who had a single flower in his hand.
"What's this", I ask as I accept his rose, taking the risk. I keep my mouth closed as I hold onto the stem, I try to keep my nose away from the rose as I pick up on the flowery scent.
"It's a rose, to show you how beautiful you are", he said as he picked me up bridal style and spun me around, making me feel like a true disney princess.
"Thank you, I love it", I held it away from my mouth as I kissed his luscious lips and he grabbed my bag and carried me out of the office, I hadn't realized I had forgotten to put on my shoes and I was still in my fuzzy slippers.
The people we passed as we walked out, knew who Nolan was and they marveled at me staying calm in his arms, they either knew something had happened to me or we were together.
Most of them laughed or smiled at the love the both of us shared and how involved we were in each other. He helped me into the car as we sat in the front seat, this was an entirely new car.
"This car wasn't here this morning", I asked as I looked at the interior and the mirror and the steering wheel.
"I figured that we can drive ourselves home and these cars have always been here, I leave a couple of company cars at the office just in case", he states out as I wonder how many cars this man has.
He nodded along as I played with the radio looking for a song after I found one I swayed to it as my first sneeze came along.
And then my second and my third and I was done, no wait not done another one and now I was done. I grabbed a tissue from the glove compartment as I rubbed my nose a bit. I sneezed and sneezed over and over again as Nolan pulled over and grabbed me a bottle of water from inside a store.
"You okay", he asked as we got back in the car and I inhaled soundly as I put the rose on the ground, hoping he hadn't noticed. I drank down the water and inhaled clearly.
"Yeah, just allergies", I said as he drove straight home, very quickly.
"Here do you want help", he asked me as I declined his offer as I carried in my still everlasting rose and set it on the counter I went straight to wash my hands and finally went to blow my nose. I changed into some comfy clothes and put my hair in a messy bun. I went to the kitchen to see, Nolan standing there with no shirt making dough, as he patted it down.
"How are you feeling", he walked over to me as he placed a subtle kiss on my forehead and went to the cabinet to get me something, he came back with a pill as he placed it in front of me and a water glass.
I drank it down, hoping that whatever he gave me would make my coughing and sneezing die down.
He went back to the kitchen, as I found it safe to not ask if he wanted help, knowing he would think I'm sick.
"Did it say drowsy", I asked him as I skimmed over the bottle, and found the word drowsy in clear letters.
"Yeah, why", he asked as he brought the food out of the oven and plated it. I walked over to the couch to sit down as I felt it take over me.
"I just get super sleepy and just like really out of it, I don't know", I said as I felt my headache subside and I grabbed a wine bottle. I grabbed two glasses as I poured the luscious red wine out in the glasses. I gulped the first one down, trying to forget about all the rushes of the world.
"Dinner is ready", he called from the kitchen as I brought the wine bottle and our glasses. He poured his own second glass as I gulped down my third.
"I had something I wanted to ask you", He cleared his throat as I felt the eagerness in his voice.
"I'm going to Austin TX, to check up on operations do you want to come or run operations from here", he asked as I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to miss my dad's appointment. I said yes in a heartbeat, as I rethought it and, figured I knew I wouldn't be able to escape and my sister is out there, and I did this for her.
"I'll stay, I have a meeting with my dad tomorrow, so I should probably stay behind", I told him as he understood the inconvenience.
"How long will you be gone", I asked as I knew indeed that I would miss him and he would miss me. I had grown an attachment to him and his ways and I wouldn't be able to part with them ever.
"3 days, just a checkup I'll be back before you know it", he assured me as I knew I was going to miss him more than ever.
"I'll miss you", I held his hand dearly as I started to feel the wine and the medicine kick in.
I tried to eat and clear the table as I just ended up sticking everything in the dishwasher. I groggily went to Nolan's office and pushed my way through. He saw me as he slid out of his desk I sat on his lap and snuggled with him. He kissed my forehead and resumed working, he finished and carried us to the bedroom and tucked me in as he changed, I saw his body in the shadows and I smiled to think of this amazing life.
The bed dipped as I felt his warm body climb into bed and snuggle with me. He kissed my forehead. I pulled his lips towards me and enveloped me in him as I climbed on top of him.
"We're married and yet I'm still a virgin, I want you to take my virginity", I demanded as he laughed it off and rolled me off of him as I picked at his shorts. He removed my hand as he held it dearly next to him.
"I want it to be special", he said as he faced me and his words meant the world to me.
"When?", I asked as I had gotten fed up with this teasing of all sorts, I mean this man was hot and how could I ignore all this, it was so hard.
"Soon, now sleep goodnight princess", he kissed my forehead as I silently hugged his back and he turned around to face me and held me as we slept.
"Can I tell you something", I asked as I stared up at the ceiling as he did too.
"Go ahead", he said as I dug my head on his open shoulder, keeping his eyes aligned with mine.
"I'm allergic to roses, but I love your flower and I wanted to be nice and not say anything and you've just been so nice to me-", he interrupted me with a kiss as he explored my mouth.
"I'm sorry", he apologized as I told him he didn't need to, it was my fault I should've told him.
"What flower could I give you", he asked me one beautiful flower came to mind. Lilacs were my favorite my mom and I used to collect them in fields.
"Lilacs", I stood up back at the ceiling snuggling in his warm hold. His arm rested on top of my shoulder as he hugged me tighter to him.
"Lilacs, beautiful just like you, goodnight Nataliá", he said as he rolled the a and kissed my forehead as he drifted fast to sleep and so did I in his warm grasp.
