《Little Lockwood》1.11 Vicky Donovan

The past few days have been oddly normal for Linkin. His dad wasn't hitting him, Tyler has actually been learning in there two hour study sessions. Caroline some how had gotten his number and had been messaging him.
Avoiding Bonnie and Stefan had gotten easier since he had gotten his car from his dad. Linkin couldn't help feel guilty for staying away from the Bennett's, it hurt alot but he wouldn't give his father the excuse to go after them.
Vicky had gone missing apparently which led to a call from a really upset Jeremy. Now he's at the front door of the Gilbert's ringing the door bell.
"Linkin?" Elena asked confused opening the front door hlaf glairing. Bonnie had told her that he had been ignoring her calls and messages making her worried an upset. So elena herself was anoyed with the lockwood.
"Jeremy called me." He said going to walk in but elena just stayed infront of him.
"Sorry, nows not a good time." She said in an annoyed like tone.
Jeremy came down the stairs hearing the door bell seeing his friend infront of his sister. "Link." He greeted.
"Did you call him?" Elena asked.
"Yair I did so let him in." Jeremy said pulling the door fully open an out of his sisters grasp.
Elena just huffed before walking off up to her room.
"What did you do to piss her off?" Jeremy asked.
"Who knows." Linkin sighed before following Jeremy to the living room where they both took a seat.
"I should probably start with saying sorry." Jeremy said looking at the scab line on Linkins face.
"It's fine Jer."
"No. It was stupid. I was stupid."
"You were drunk, I'm not upset about it."
"Thats still no excuse." Jeremy argued. "I really am sorry."
"I know you are Jer." Linkin said seeing Jeremys eyes start to water. "At least it'll look cool when it scars." He added.
Jeremy snorted a laugh. "Please don't do that." He said still looking away.
"Don't what?" Link asked.
"Make me feel better." He said.
"Jeremy. We may not talk as much now but we made a promise rember." Linkin said.
Jeremy's eyes widened suprised that he still remembered.
"No matter the day, no matter the problem. We fight for eachother and always believe in one another." Linkin recited there vow from when they were little with a fond smile. He held out his hand with hope.
Jeremy finally turned to look at his friend and a tear fell down his face as he rached out taking links hand and squeezed. Linkin pulled Jeremy forwards and into a hug letting him cry into his shoulder.
What neither biy heard or saw was Elena standing at the threshold of the room. She could see Jer crying and even though she was mad at Linkin for hurting Bonnie. She was happy to see Jeremy start to open up again. Elena quietly left the house with a new hope that she might get her 9ld brother back and would finally have some normality back in her life.

fter the boys had there moment Jeremy and Linkin had been talking and played some video games together. They were happy and everything was fine, until vicky showed up on god knows what.
Link had immediately called Matt and Jeremy was trying to talk to her but she was to busy trying to stuff her face.
Matt had finally arrived and coincidentally so did elena with Stefan. Which was akward since the last time Linkin talked to him he nearly mudered his brother.

Stefan had checked up on vicky and got jeremy to put her in his bed. But she freaked out an ran off. Everyone ran after her but by the time they got out the front door she was nowhere in sight.
"I'm going after her." Matt said running to his truck and driving off.
"I can track her." Stefan wisperd to elana who told him to go.
"I'm gonna go help look." Linkin said goings to his car.
"I'm coming to." Jeremy said immediatly tailings after him.
"Stay with elena." Linkin told him but Jeremy grabbed his shoulder stopping him.
"No way. She's my girlfriend I'm not just gonna-"
"Jer I promise you I'll find her an make sure she's safe. But I can't to it with you constantly worrying so stay with elena. She might end up coming back here for all we know." Linkin said.
"He's right Jeremy." Elena added. She was confused why Link wouldn't let him go but he had a point. She also didn't want to be trapped with a transitioning vampire alone.
"Fine." Jeremy hiffed letting him go.
"I promise I'll make sure shes safe." Linkin assured him befor gettung in his car.
Linkin drove back around to Matts house. He had an idea but he needed the right tools.
Matts truck wasn't in the driveway so the house was empty. As he got to the front door Linkin felt a wierd sensation behind him and immediately turned to punch only for Stefan to dodge it.
"Woah." He said suprised. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you."
"Then maby don't sneak up on people." Linkin replied.
"What are you doing hear?" Stefan asked him.
"I could ask you the same." Linkin countered.
"I'm tracking her." The vampire replied.
"Well your bad it. No ones here." Linkin pointed out.
"Then she was here." Stefan said smelling the air.
"She lives here. Her scent is probably all over the place." Linkin pointed out. He then pushed the pot plant so it was leaning and grabbed the now revealed key to the door and opened it.
"What are you doing?" Stefan asked stopping at the threshold as Linkin walked into the house.
"I have a quicker idea to find her. Its gonna be dark soon and lately there's been alot of animal attacks. Aka your brother eating people. "Linkin said bitterly.
"Well about that." Stefan began an explained that Damon killed vicky making her a vamp in transition.
"How could you let that happen?!" He yelled at Stefan.
"I only just found out whe elena and I went back to her house." Stefan defended.
"Just wait there." Linkin growled before going into vickys room and coming back out with her hair brush.
"What are you going to use that for?" Stefan asked as Linkin got back to his car.
"I'm going to try a locater spell." He said.
"What do you mean try?"
"I've never done one before." Linkin said.
"Why don't I help you." Stefan suggested.
"I don't need your help Stefan." He said starting his car.
"You do if you need magic to power your spell." Stefan said to him.
Morgan groaned in realisation. "Fine, get in." He sighed.
Stefan smiled as he sped to the other side of the vehicle an into the passenger seat. "Nice car." He said.
"Thanks." Linkin said pulling out of the driveway.
"I know a thing or two about cars. I could fix this one up for you if you want. It shouldn't need to much." Stefan said which admittedly suprised the lockwood.

Linkin wasn't sure about it. "Why are you behing nice to me?" He asked confused.
Stefan sighed. "I don't blame you for trying to kill Damon. In fact I've been trying to call you because I wnated to apologise." Stefan admitted said shocking Linkin. "Damon tried to kill your friend and attacked you, he's my brother but he had that coming."
"Okay then." Linkin said a feeling a little akward.
"So where are we going?" Stefan asked.
"I'm stopping in at the junk store. I need some sand, a town map, quarts crystal and yarn." He said pulling up infront of the store.
...
It was dark out now and Linkin had set up everything on the trunk of the car. He had the sand poured onto the map, the cryst tied to some yarn dangeking it from his hnad over the map.
"We don't have much time." Stefan told him starting to worry.
"I'm ready, just give me your hand." Linkin said.
Stefan held out his hand and Links glew orange as he began to ubsorb the magic from Stefans body. He closed his eyes, beginning to circle the crystal over the map as he chanted.
"nameri tozi, koĭto tŭrsya. nameri tozi, koĭto tŭrsya. nameri tozi, koĭto tŭrsya" Linkin chanted over again as the eind started to pick up.
Stefan could feel the his body be drained but it wasn't anything like the founders ball. He wasn't in pain and wasn't desicating an he realised Linkin was starting to learn control.
Stefan watched as the sand moved on the map in slight amazement and link stopped chanting.
"Got her. She's in the woods south of the old crypts." Link said not able to hide his smile.
"Good job. I'll go get her." Stefan said going to speed off.
"What? No way, I'm coming with you." Link refused.
"You'd only slow me down." Stefan replied.
"I don't care. I promise Jeremy I'd keep her safe. Also I think she would prefer a familiar face then just another Vampire, like the one that killed her." Linkin argued.
"Fine." Stefan gave in not being able to find a good argument against him. He came up to him befor turning his back to him an slouching slightly.
"What are you doing?" Link asked
"Jump on my back." Stefan told him.
"Oh." Linkin said a little embarrassed before reaching up and jumping. He wrapped his legs around his waist an Stefan caught them while bringing his arms around his neck. Linkin definitely felt more than a little akward at the moment.
"I'ed take off your glasses, I mean incase you want them to fly into a tree." Stefan said with a small smile that Linkin couldn't see.
"Right." The boy agreed before taking said item off and putting it in his jeans
"Ready?" Stefan asked.
"Ye-" Link didn't even get to finnish before the wind blow in him mouth drying it out making him clamp it shut. Everything went by so fast and more blurred than usual befor they came to a stop. Linkin couldn't help but cough into Stefans back as he tried to wet his throat.
"You okay." He asked letting Link down hiding his amusement.
"You.. you did that.. on purpose." The boy wezzed glairing.
Stefan heard faint wimpers of a girl crying. "She's this way." Stefan said walking off ahead.
Linkin caught up after catching his breath an putting back on his glasses. Vicky was on the ground knees in her chest crying. "Linkin?" She asked confused.
"Hey Vick." He said coming down to her level. "I know what happened to you and I'm here to help you okay." He said comfortingly.
"I'm remebering things. He said I had to feed?" She said slightly confused.
"You have a choice. You can choose to feed or not." Stefan told her.
"What happens if I don't? She asked.
"You'll fade quickly." He told her.
"I just want to go home." She said crying. "Will you take me home?" She pleaded.
Stefan nooded to her and went to help her up when he suddenly got shot through the back of the chest and he fell onto his back.
Logan fell was on top of him in seconds.
Linkin ran at him and bagged him off Stefan before he plunged a stake through his heart. They rolled to a stop.
"Your one of them." Logan said in suprise pushing Linkin off him getting to his feet first an aimed his gun at the boy.
"I'm not one of them!" He yelled from the ground putting hisn hands up. "Motus" He chanted using the last bit of magic he took from Stefan.
Logan yelled surprised as he went flying into a tree, falling unconscious.
Linkin quickly scurried over to Stefan who was still on the ground groaning in pain. "I can help you but it's going to hurt." He told the vampire.
"Do it." He told him.
Linkin then put his finger into the wound trying to fish out the bullet making Stefan growl and groan in pain.
Logan had awoken in a light daze getting to his feet. He saw the mayors son helping the vampire and walked forward with his gun. "I don't know what you are but your not human." He hissed aiming.
Stefan hearing the man looked over and saw him about to shoot Link. "Get down!" He yelled using vamp speed to pull Linkin into his chest before rolling ontop of him. They both waited for the gun shot but instead heard a body fall before Stefan was rolled off of linkin by Damon.
Now isn't this just adorable. My least favourite witch and brother." The older vampire teased.
"He's your only brother." Linkin groaned sitting up to feel around for his glasses.
Damon saw them right infront of the boy. Just as Linkin was about to find them Damon moved them away from him.
"Where are my glasses?" Linkin muttered frustrated.
"No idea." Damon lied a She went over to his brother. "I just saved tour life, again." He pointed out to his brother before jamming his fingers in Stefans wound harshly pulling out a wooden bullet. "It's wood. They know." He told his brother who just groaned in pain on the floor.
Stefan rolled to his side hearing slurping. "Wait vicky no!" Stefan yelled painfully to the girl who was drinking from Logan Fells corpse.
"Oops." Damon said with fake worry.
Linkin finally found his glasses an out them on to see Vicky chugging down blood. "Well thats just great." Linkin said dryly.
Okay so this is kinda another filler chapter but also not.
As usual I hope your all enjoying the story. 🤗

John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up?
